dark fire 龙一 39896Words 2018-03-18
On March 15, 1950, the investigation records of the town counter-office (instructions from superiors: contradictory with other investigation materials, conflicts in the activity time of the parties involved, Comrade Ma Sheng is loyal and reliable, and Jin Shanqing needs to be continuously investigated.): Anti-counterfeiting cadres: You are a veteran of the revolution. You have made great contributions to the Revolution of 1911 and the revolutionary movement under the leadership of the Communist Party. We have this rare opportunity to learn from you.It is a last resort to invite you here this time, because I have to check with you about some things about Jin Shanqing.

Ma Sheng (real name Ma Youcai, provincial leader, 59 years old, originally from Tianjin): Which level of leader approved this matter? Counter-revolutionary cadres: they are the heads of the central government. In order to invite you to come, we specially typed a report to the central government. This is the original of the approval document, please have a look. Ma Sheng: Investigating Jin Shanqing?I met him last month. I, it was me, specially invited him to eat steamed buns at the steamed stuffed bun shop. They were not the rationed steamed stuffed buns in our cafeteria, but meatballs, each with a bag full of oil. Very fragrant.I have always had such a wish for 38 years, just to treat him to a meal, to have a full meal.Let him eat me for the rest of his life...

Counter-rebellion cadre: Were you with him in February 1912? Ma Sheng: Is this the beginning?I saw him for the first time in the first month of that year, about the third day of the first month. At that time, he was a rich man. I heard that he was one of the most famous rich young masters in the local area in the early years. He spent money like water, and somehow got into the League.I was a small worker at the time, not much better than a beggar. At that time, the Revolution of 1911 could not be said to be a success, and I think so now, it was just the beginning. In the north, especially here in Tianjin, there are a group of revolutionary parties and several organizations, which have no affiliation with the Tongmenghui. Their goal is to overthrow the Manchu Qing government. As for what to do after success, everyone has their own plans, and there is no definite purpose.Even people in the same party do not have a unified revolutionary ideal. The revolutionary organization I belonged to was called the Northern Revolutionary Corps. It was composed of workers, peddlers, coachmen, and all kinds of poor people...

It's not a good idea to meet at the Pont de France. Two idlers stand on the edge of the bridge, no matter which end they are at. Here, the Chinese patrols who were as good as the thieves in front of the train station, or the French Concession patrols in the south of the bridge, might catch them. What's more, this is an extraordinary period. The Qing Dynasty fell, but the Republic of China has not yet been established. The whole country is fighting for independence. Everyone who holds military power feels that "Qin has lost its deer, and the world is chasing it", and they are kings and hegemons. The opportunity has come.

But this side still has to be seen, Jin Shanqing has no choice. The matter is urgent and there is no choice.Because the Northern Revolutionary Corps is likely to organize a new riot within a few days.Leaving aside any adverse impact this incident has on the current situation of the North-South peace talks, he feels that this incident itself has problems. He didn't mean to look down on the poor, but he felt that starting a revolution was a very expensive thing. The Northern Revolutionary Corps was full of poor people who couldn't even get two meals a day. They "can't afford" the revolution...

It was just 6:30 in the evening, but it was already dark, and the street lights in the French Concession were turned on early. The Chinese enclave surrounded by the concession was on the other side of the station, and it was still dark and unlit. It was the negligence of the messenger to fail to make an appointment on which side of the bridge to meet.Unfortunately, the French bridge was about to be opened to cross the ship, which delayed the time. Jin Shanqing and the girl Baoyi in men's clothing stood on the ground of the French Concession in the south of the bridge, and kept looking to the north of the bridge, it was so dark that they couldn't see clearly, wondering if anyone coming to join them. The time to open the bridge and cross the ship is only 6 minutes, which is very short, but it takes a lot of effort to use the motor to raise the bridge and then lower it.Soon, the south end of the bridge was crowded with horse-drawn carriages and foreign cars waiting to cross the river, and there were also two newly fashionable cars mixed in.

Since the acquaintance, Jin Shanqing has never seen Baoyi wearing women's clothing. She always looks like a rich man, with fashionable and luxurious clothes. A young man with poetry and books. In fact, as long as anyone takes a closer look, they will probably be able to see through her identity as a daughter. She has picturesque eyebrows, a dark complexion, and the sweetness in her two smiles is not faked." Heroic" can cover up.At the same time, this sweetness is a natural disguise - she is an important leader of the local women's assassination group. After waiting for a long time, the two Annan patrols on the street looked at them from time to time.Baoyi unconsciously adjusted the large Louis Vuitton leather bag on her shoulders. The bag was very heavy, and she was a little nervous. In fact, Jin Shanqing was already very nervous. Waiting like this, when the bridge fell down and opened to traffic, the Annan policeman would be free, and at least they would come to question him.Among the various local concessions, the Annan patrol in the French Concession and the Koryo patrol in the Japanese Concession are the worst for the Chinese...

"Sir, do you want a car?" Two rickshaws with eight donated signs that can pass through the whole city were parked beside them. The two rickshaw drivers were young and clean, and they wore short blue cotton robes—this meant that they hadn't seen each other for a while. Soliciting customers, because when pulling the cart and running, you can't wear cotton robes, it doesn't look like it. Jin Shanqing shook his head.At this moment, he noticed that the traffic flow on both sides of the bridge started to move, and the two Annan patrols walked lazily towards the bridge, but their eyes kept glancing to this side. They will inevitably turn around halfway, which is a method used by patrols in various concessions.

The rickshaw driver did not leave, and they also discovered Annan's intention of patrolling. They tore off the cotton robe in twos and twos, put it in the trunk of the carriage, and threw it on the seat, and whispered to Jin Shanqing: "Go to Xitou!" What? Just the fare for a pack of cigarettes, Pirates." Jin Shanqing and Bao Yi, who had already held the handle of the pistol, were overjoyed. This is the signal for the joint, these people are a little clever, and they will not attract attention when they pretend to be coachmen. Moreover, "Xitou" is one of the lowest-level shanty towns in the area. From this area, it is impossible for anyone to go directly to that kind of place. It is like going straight from heaven to hell, and even the world is ignored.

Just when Annan's patrol was speeding up, the two of them jumped into the rickshaw. The two coachmen obviously belonged to the kind of speeding cars that asked for extra money. They stepped hard and jumped several feet in a blink of an eye. When they heard Annan's police whistle blowing the whistle, the two cars had already separated. Jin Shanqing's car along the river Running towards the Japanese wharf, Baoyi's car turned a few turns, and Xu Street could be seen from a distance. Baoyi's foreign car passed through the French Concession and went to the bustling Xu Street in the Japanese Concession. The rows of shops on both sides were not very big, but densely packed like a honeycomb. Strings of electric lights and dazzling ore lamps illuminated the street. Like daytime, the street is very lively.

Even if someone is following her, it's easy to avoid it here, she thought. The car swayed and almost ran into a "bearer". "Slow down." Bao Yi asked the coachman to slow down his pace, so as not to sneak around in the car seam or the crowd. For nothing else, what Baoyi wants is to be decent, and not to be misunderstood as a "red man" who catches up with the police. On the side of this street next to the Haihe River is Shoujie Street, with dozens of second- and third-class teams; In addition to the large and small restaurants in this area, this is the time for prostitutes to drink, have fun, and call for notes. At this time, in this place, there is only one kind of speeding car running on the street, and that is the red girl in the team.Poor prostitutes who have no money to ride in a rickshaw let a "bearer" take her out. This is also a local scene, which was often the case in the Qing Dynasty, but it is rare now. Most of the "carrying people" are good guys in their early twenties, with green cloth trousers and jackets, blue bags around the waist, and cloth socks and shoes on their feet. They are both foot strength and bodyguards, preventing local gangsters from snatching their sisters and hiding them. Get up and extort money; most of the prostitutes above are combing their old-fashioned ingot hair, emerald emerald and gold-covered heads, holding the man's shoulders with both hands, and the man is holding her calf, a pair of little feet wrapped in diamond tips and willow thin Leaning backwards, being surprised by out-of-town travelers as a strange thing about losing money and making money. Looking back several times, Bao Yi was relieved to see that there was no foreign car following behind him for a long time.It took more than a quarter of an hour just to cross the crowded Asahi Street. After crossing the southeast city corner, there is Huajie, Dongma Road, Beima Road, Guyi Street, and Zhenshi Street. This area is full of time-honored shops. Along the way, there are people carrying lanterns everywhere, Mr. Huoshi. It says With their own trading names, they come out to solicit business. At the intersection of Needle Market, the coachman dropped her off at the street corner. "You can change your car, go to Gaoji grocery store, there are people waiting for you." A street watchman still wearing a red tasseled cap in full Qing Dynasty walked slowly towards this side, and kept looking at them. "Aren't you going to take me there?" Bao Yi was a little confused, but he still put the two cents in the hand of the coachman who had been waiting there. Will it be arranged wrong?Bao Yi hesitated again. You can't go to Xitou on foot. If you don't get there, you might be robbed and picked up.This kind of thing happens every day in that place, not to mention the New Year's Eve, when the god of poverty descends to the realm. Walked a few steps west along Beima Road, and ordered a few decent new cars. No one would go to a place like "Xitou", let alone the owner of the car couldn't even tell the exact boundary. In the end, I had to sit in a broken car with few lights and no bell, and the driver was a fourteen or fifteen-year-old child. This car has been following her from Needle Market Street, but she doesn't want to sit in it, it's too dirty. No wonder good cars refuse to come!Baoyi saw at a glance that the small dark sheds were connected together, and even if there was a road in the middle, they were like uneven garbage dumps. "Do you really know that place?" Baoyi was frightened by the poverty oppressing her from the darkness, and took out the pistol under the leather robe. The gun was always on fire, but the safety was off. It's not that scary. "Master, let me find you a fun place? It's cheap, clean, and comfortable. I'll guarantee you to play until dawn, and I'm thinking about staying until the Lantern Festival." The voice of the boy pulling the cart was hoarse. , without the immaturity of this age. Baoyi didn't dare to answer the coachman's words. "Don't worry, it's not an outsider, that's my own sister. Go ahead, you'll be there just two turns away. It will definitely be enough for your second grandfather to enjoy." "No." She seemed to be burned. "You take me to the place, and I'll give you two dollars." "Is it the eldest son, or the money ticket?" "It's foreign money." "Ouch," cried the coachman. "I have to kowtow to you twice, but this is the limit." The so-called Gaoji grocery store is no better than a small sugar stall. It is said to be a pretense, but it is just a lantern that is so weak that it can hardly see the light. Get some lights on. The two oceans are placed on the pedals, and they are all valuable Spanish stationers, which are more expensive than other foreign coins. The little coachman really lay down on the ground and kowtowed twice to Bao Yi.It was inconvenient for Baoyi to reach out to support him, so he had to walk into the grocery store, who would have thought that the driver would follow behind her, never leaving her footsteps. "Go quickly, it's none of your business here." Bao Yi was afraid that his dirty hands would scratch her clothes. "Stay for a while, don't you have to go back?" The little driver smiled with his dirty face that hadn't been washed for many days, and said, "Don't make trouble. I know you. You are Zhao Baoyi, Miss Zhao Er. I am the Northern Revolutionary The team members are also here for the party, so I will pick you up by the way." "Since you know me, you still teased me just now!" Bao Yi was a little annoyed. "Don't talk, don't laugh, it's not lively. It's too eye-catching for a decent person like you to sneak into Xitou. No one will be suspicious of you as a "fishing" client. These days , people from Yang Bangzi (Yang Yide, the head of the Tianjin Visitation Bureau) are watching closely. Come, I will carry your bag for you." "What's your name?" "My name is San Bangzi, my surname is Qian, and I don't have a big size." Carrying a valuable leather bag worth fifteen bags of foreign noodles, and sniffing the expensive perfume on Baoyi's body, Xiao San Bangzi was very proud. Ma Sheng: Baoyi was very famous at the time. It is said that she executed several traitors with her own hands. The people she found all hated why their parents gave birth to themselves, but died early and lived happily. Counter-rebellion cadre: What kind of person is this Baoyi? Ma Sheng: I heard that too, but many people say that this girl is born to be a spendthrift, and she always takes a rickshaw when she goes out; a meal can cost the price of two bags of foreign noodles.A bag of foreign noodles weighs 44 catties, which can feed a family of four for a month with stick noodles (corn flour). One of her leather robes can buy a courtyard house...However, this girl has a very good humanity and is not bad to us poor people, unlike Jin Shanqing who looks down on the poor. Counter-revolutionary cadre: How do you know her? Ma Sheng: I have dealt with them before. The real acquaintance was in February 1912, at the Gaoji grocery store in Xitou... Counter-revolutionary cadre: It is normal for Jin Shanqing to look down on the poor, which is determined by class nature. What relationship did you have with him at the time, and how did you get involved? Ma Sheng: (angry) Does it matter? This kid came to the door by himself. He has ulterior motives... The car Jin Shanqing was riding in was also fast. As soon as he entered the Japanese Concession, he realized that something was wrong, and he was followed by two men on bicycles. At this time, bicycles had just been introduced to the local area, and there were only two types of people who rode this kind of bicycles: one was "playing tickets", and the rich and less showy; the other was patrolling. The police stations in the British, French, and Japanese concessions had just set up bicycle teams, and they were very popular. Yang Yide, the head of the Chinese Visiting Bureau, also had this intention, and it seemed that they were just in the trial stage. Those who have been able to follow from the French Concession to the Japanese Concession will not be the Chinese detectives in the Concession, but most of them are Yang Yide's people. Going northwest along the river, it's time to enter the Huajie. If they came to arrest him, they would definitely do it once they entered the Huajie. He stepped on the bell on the car a few times, and the driver slowed down. "There is a tail at the back, and it has been following from the Dharma Realm." Jin Shanqing's tone was very steady. It was the first time he had dealt with the Northern Revolutionary Corps, and they could not let them look down upon him. The coachman just nodded his head, walked more slowly, and pulled the bell with his hand.In fact, the road was not crowded at this time, and his ringing of the bell seemed to be a signal. The two spies at the back also slowed down the speed of the car, opened a distance of twenty or thirty feet, followed unhurriedly, with cigarettes in their mouths, flashing in the darkness. Soon, Jin Shanqing found that there were more foreign cars on the road for no reason, most of them were empty cars, and many of them were pulling customers. They all followed behind his car, trotting unhurriedly. He could hear some passengers in the cars complaining, but the drivers remained silent and formed a convoy of dozens of cars, following behind Jin Shanqing. Going west along the river, you will enter Huajie.Jin Shanqing was a little nervous, maybe Yang Yide's people had already been waiting at Huajiekou, waiting for his arrival. At this time, the coachman turned north and got on a newly built iron bridge. This is the third openable iron bridge bought from abroad besides the French Bridge and King Kong Bridge in the local area. Across the bridge is the Austrian Concession. On the bridge here is a group of Japanese soldiers with bayonets attached to their rifles. The Japanese have always been the most sensitive to changes in China's political situation, and their reaction was the strongest when Emperor Xuantong abdicated. On the other side of the bridge were only two Chinese inspectors from the Austrian Concession, guarding the bridgehead and directing traffic. As soon as Jin Shanqing's car got on the bridge, dozens of cars behind rushed towards the bridge together. Immediately afterwards, two drivers were seen fighting together among the cars. The driver who persuaded the fight put down the car and surrounded him. In one piece, the bridgehead was blocked. Great job!Jin Shanqing couldn't help but admire. It seems that the poor have their own way of the poor.Even if he can imagine such a method, he has no way to implement it.Jin Shanqing knows himself well, and his best way to solve difficulties is to spend a lot of money.Take advantage of people?exactly.Of course a decent person wants to take advantage of others, but never wants to be taken advantage of. Not far into the Austrian Concession, Jin Shanqing was stuffed into a two-wheeled horse-drawn sedan, and ran along the opposite bank of the river, past the reconstructed Wanghailou Church, and turned back to the river from the King Kong Bridge... … Counter-rebellion cadre: Why did you agree to meet Jin Shanqing? Is it necessary to deal with these rich people for the revolution? Ma Sheng: You brat looks at the problem very sharply.Jin Shanqing contacted us through the women's assassination group, saying that there is such a person who wants to see us.We don't want to see them, although he is in the name of the League, we don't have the slightest trust in these rich people. However, he is a local kid who knows the tricks of doing things, and the people who come out to contact us are kind to us. We can't pretend to be grandchildren and don't give the benefactor face. That's how they agreed to meet. When I picked him up, I realized that this kid had already been targeted by the Visiting Bureau, and it was very difficult to meet him. Counter-revolutionary cadres: Maybe it’s inappropriate for me to say that. Is it necessary to save face when doing revolutionary work?Should everything be centered on the purpose of revolution? Ma Sheng: You are right in saying that. It is not just a matter of face, we are lucky for him.You don't know, the people who come and go with Jin Shanqing are rich people, and what we need most is money.Money is needed to buy guns, bullets and explosives. At that time, I thought, maybe this guy can help us solve some difficulties. In Baoyi's eyes, the so-called Gaoji Grocery Store didn't have any goods in it. There were two straw houses inside and outside, the walls were blackened by the stove fire, and there were seven or eight people standing on the ground, tall and short, although most of them were young people. But there are also pretty old folks, and teenage kids. Most of the people were dressed in shabby clothes, and some of them only wore jackets. Bao Yi had already prepared for this meeting. She knew that the other party was a group of poor people, so she specially picked out the cheapest squirrel fur robe in her closet and put it on. She took off the diamond ring and box green emerald finger on her hand. When it came down, only a gold watch inlaid with red and sapphires was hung - there was no way, the other pocket watches were all inlaid with diamonds of various colors.Although she took great pains to dress herself up, here and now, she understood that she was still like a monster, out of tune with the environment and atmosphere. There were only two seats in the room. Sitting on a low stool was a young man about the same age as Jin Shanqing, with a shaved head and no braids. His face was clean and his nails were full of black dust.It was only then that Baoyi noticed that most of the people in the room had their braids cut.How fast they moved, with the recklessness of the poor. "Please sit down." The young man pointed to a wooden chair with a hemp rope tied to one leg. "Miss Baoyi doesn't think it's dirty?" "I don't think so, you have to go through everything in revolution." Bao Yi knew that the smile on her face was still a little stiff, but she felt that she answered quite appropriately. "You are Ma Youcai, right?" Ma Youcai (renamed Ma Sheng more than ten years later) was a little surprised. "Are you listening carefully? You are indeed a well-known figure in the women's assassination group." "I've heard about your name for a long time, too." Baoyi's smile widened, and he showed a little twitch when accepting the other party's compliment. "Mr. Jin Shanqing has important matters to discuss with you this time, and I hope you will cooperate well." Ma Youcai didn't answer this sentence. Baoyi opened the Louis Vuitton leather bag and took out a pistol, a Colt made in Germany, a few years ago model.People around showed varying degrees of nervousness. This is normal, Baoyi thought, anyone would be nervous when faced with a murder weapon, even if the gun is held by your wife.Another one was taken out, made in Switzerland; the next one was made in Italy..., eight pistols, all different, the same feature is that they are all high-end products produced a few years ago. "I'm not in a hurry to get the ready-made ones. I've collected a few from here and there. I don't know if they are suitable for use?" Although it is an old model, it is still a high-quality product, but it is no longer fashionable.Baoyi felt that these weapons were too expensive and still didn't fit their status. If there were seven or eight gold bars in front of him, Ma Youcai would not be so shocked, because he and his comrades had never seen gold bars. But they have experience with weapons, and the things conjured up in the girl's bag in front of them are all "dreams" that they dare not achieve. "How does it feel to use such an advanced gun? Is it accurate?" Ma Youcai took a small Browning for women, looked at it over and over again, then disassembled it into a bag of parts, and assembled it with ease. , and then rolled up the sleeves to wipe off the unclean fingerprints left on them. "Such a small thing is worth five or six big guns." The latter sentence was not addressed to anyone, it could only be regarded as an exclamation of shock.Baoyi thought. She saw the naked "greed" in the eyes of these people. It seems that Jin Shanqing's understanding of people is indeed unique. His original words are: "They, poor revolutionaries, like two things the most, food and weapons." "I got this from a friend. It looks like most of it has never been shot since I bought it from a foreign company." Bao Yi said lightly, not wanting to show signs of being kind to others. "This Browning is mine, and it was given by someone else. I'm sorry, but I bring you something I don't like." "This is a treasure." "I prefer weapons with high firepower. The caliber of .22 is too small." Baoyi was just telling the truth, but he sounded like a "warrior". "Thank you for sending charcoal in a timely manner. It will be needed in two days. We will have a big operation." Ma Youcai picked up the powerful Colt and tucked it in his waist, and put the other guns into an old man's jelly beans basket. Bao Yi agrees with Jin Shanqing's view, and does not approve of creating chaos at this time, which will bring new troubles to the peace talks between the Nanjing Provisional Government and Yuan Shikai. So she said: "I'm afraid this matter is inappropriate. We do not approve of launching an uprising at this time." "We are grateful for these guns. However, no one can stop what our revolutionary corps is going to do." Ma Youcai's young face was mixed with determination and contempt, and his black eyebrows were full of fine coal dust.Obviously, he has the stubborn temper of a cow. "Mr. Jin will come later, please thank him for us, and I'm sorry. It's all fighting in the country, and we have a part here, so we have to do it. Besides, they are too far to the south. We can’t reach here. When we conquer Beijing, we can invite Mr. Sun Wen to sit on the dragon chair, no problem. Just don’t stop us.” While talking, suddenly someone outside the door raised his voice and asked, "Is Mrs. Wang at home? Mrs. Wang...?" Mrs. Wang is the owner of the shop, and she coaxed the child to sleep behind. At this moment, the door of the store was pushed open, and a snack box from Xiangdezhai came in first—a clever disguise, followed by a decent guy—it was Jin Shanqing, who was covered with a worn-out fur coat. The blue cloth long gown, but it is neatly mended and washed. Jin Shanqing must have been in the dark for too long, and when he collected his mind, he saw clearly that there were eight short guns pointed at his head, five of which were very rough, probably imitated "Single One" in the Santiao Stone and Iron Factory. .He swore on the graves of his grandfather and father, who had squandered their fortunes in a ridiculous life, that this crude weapon was more dangerous than the precious jewel-encrusted pistols he had encountered before. The three clappers beat Jin Shanqing as soon as he entered the door, and then dodged behind the door.Realizing that he is not one of his own, first he stretched out his hand to lift his big scarf, covered his eyes, stumbled on his feet, leaned his shoulders on his waist, and gave the boy a "virtue and joy".Jin Shanqing took advantage of the situation and lay down on the ground, and a few rough hands and feet came up and held him down. "Wait a minute. Let him get up." Baoyi had already seen clearly that it was Jin Shanqing who came. "This is the Mr. Jin you invited." Ma Youcai put away the .38 caliber Colt, as if he regretted not being able to try the new gun. "He came to us," he said. "You are Brother Ma? It's great to meet you." Jin Shanqing gave up Mandarin and changed to a local accent in order to get closer to these people. "A few years ago, when I was in the south, I heard about your Northern Revolutionary Corps. They all said that you are courageous and loyal guys..." Jin Shanqing has no experience in making friends with the poor. But everyone loves to hear good things, and there is nothing wrong with this truth. There were not enough seats for three people in the room, and Ma Youcai didn't ask Jin Shanqing to sit down, but everyone stood there, making the room seem crowded. "Treasurer Jin, you asked us to meet, what's the matter?" Ma Youcai said.Jin Shanqing was the second shopkeeper of the Huacaifang of the German business Hengchang Foreign Bank, so Ma Youcai spoke very politely, but at the same time he was a bit repulsive. Asking about the purpose of coming straight to the point like this is not the way Jin Shanqing is good at talking. "Let's take our time, don't worry." He glanced at Baoyi and said, "Have you handed over everything?" Bao Yi nodded. He said again: "This is just a small meaning of our worship, no matter what, the big guys should be regarded as a family." His tone was very gentle, and the topic moved away from the distance, and it went back and forth bit by bit. , into his habit of talking to people. "However, to put it bluntly, this kind of short guy can only be used for self-defense and is not of great use. Not to mention the confrontation between the two armies, charging into battle, even if two groups of people fight on the street, they are not as good as big guns." Jin Shanqing has always sat and talked with people comfortably, sometimes lying on the couch, but now standing here to persuade the other party is a bit uncomfortable. Also, the blue cloth robe on the outside was a bit thin, tightly wrapped around the leather robe inside, making it very uncomfortable. He took out his cigarette and moved around, but no one reached out, so Ma Youcai took out the dry pipe, hit it with a scythe, squatted down and smoked violently. The others also squatted down, and it was pitch black, only Bao Yi who was sitting and himself who was standing were left. This is an unexpected problem. People in the Revolutionary Corps are all in short clothes, so squatting down is not a problem, but he is wearing a long gown... "Brother Ma, listen to me," Jin Shanqing flipped up the back of the leather robe, held it awkwardly, and squatted beside Ma Youcai. "In the first half of last year, the Qing government marched a large number of weapons from Chanchenyang. The guards of the governor of Zhili were replaced with new guns, the latest German-made breech-loading seven-shot guns. We only have pistols in our hands. But them." Ma Youcai did not speak, but only stared at Jin Shanqing through the thick smoke of Hanyan.A middle-aged man behind him spoke, tall and with a Baodi County accent. "I've said this a long time ago. I can't do the thing of resolutely hitting the south wall. If you want to do it, you have to recruit more people and get a few more guns..." Ma Youcai waved his hand to stop the disagreement. "Listen to what the shopkeeper Jin has to say." "We have also done this. You must have heard that last month, the Alliance and the revolutionary groups here attacked the Governor's Mansion, but it failed. Didn't someone in your Revolutionary Corps also sacrificed in that uprising? Why did it fail? It’s not because the signal was released earlier, it’s an excuse, it’s because our firepower is not strong enough. The Governor’s Mansion pulled up the King Kong Bridge and hit us with a big gun across the river, but what about us? How can you beat them with a pistol?" It seems that there are different opinions within the Revolutionary Corps.Jin Shanqing found another way to success. "What do you mean?" Ma Youcai twisted his black eyebrows together, disliking Jin Shanqing's beating around the bush. "What I mean is, don't rush to do it. In a few days, I will get you a batch of big guns with enough bullets, and unite with all the revolutionary comrades in Tianjin to make him a big riot. If we do it right now Do it, not to mention the new army of the Association newly transferred into the city, even the more than one hundred fast guns guarding the governor's mansion will also kill the big guy." Jin Shanqing paused, letting the other party taste the taste , changed the subject, and said again: "I'm not afraid of death. How can Tianjin Wei's dolls be afraid of death? I'm afraid, and they will die for nothing for no reason. You can still live a good life after conquering the country. You can't let these poor guys I will die if I don’t eat the stewed pancakes.” Jin Shanqing finally found the feeling of talking to the poor. With a bang, the door was knocked open, and the sentry in the distance rushed in. "Hurry up, the patrolmen are coming up, from the east." Ma Youcai called out to Jin Shanqing: "Go quickly." Eight or nine people rushed to a door, rushing Baoyi aside. In a blink of an eye, everyone split up and quickly disappeared into the darkness. Baoyi was pushed by someone, stepped on a brick, and sprained his foot. His ankle hurt so badly that he couldn't take a step.Jin Shanqing's feet were numb from squatting, and she couldn't relax for a while. Ma Youcai held two pistols and turned his head to stare at the two of them, making Jin Shanqing think for a moment that he was going to kill people to silence them. "Follow me, let's go west." Ma Youcai was very calm, much beyond Jin Shanqing's expectation. "You go first." Jin Shanqing couldn't let the other party underestimate her. "They probably won't catch us. Even if they catch us, I have someone in the Governor's Mansion, so it's okay." At this time, the little three clappers came in, and said to Ma Youcai, "I'll send Miss Bao Er away, don't worry about it." "Go." Jin Shanqing knew that his persuasion work was not successful, so he should try his best to show the true civilian loyalty so that we can meet next time. "Leave us alone." Counter-rebellion cadre: Is Jin Shanqing a loyal person? Ma Sheng: This is hard to say.A young master like him has no sense of loyalty with us poor boys.We feel that he can do all the hard things with nowhere to go, and that two small money is nothing to him at all, just the money for a meal, and he doesn't need to eat well. However, your reminder made me feel a little interesting. At that time, he seemed to be..., that's not right! We only have a few poor lives, is he trying to trick us?No, definitely not, he has no loyalty to us!It would be silly to say that he took pity on us.This kid is always pretending, you can't figure out what's going on with him, unlike Baoyi, Baoyi just takes pity on us poor people, her heart is as soft as tofu's, when she sees us poor, she immediately about to cry... Counter-rebellion cadre: At that time, was anyone in your regiment confused by him? Ma Sheng: That is for sure.Originally, the opinions in the team were not unified, and if he came over to meddle, would there still be chaos?I hate this kid because of this, is there anyone here? Jin Shanqing and San Bangzi, one on each side, supported Baoyi and got into the broken car, then tore off the blue cloth robe that made him uncomfortable, and threw it on the side of the road. "Go south. I came from the south, and I didn't see the patrolman." Jin Shanqing supported the side of the car, trotted all the way beside San Bangzi, and went down to the south. Before walking out of the arrow, gunshots rang out here and there. Fortunately, the gunshots were in the west and north.Baoyi stretched out his hand, held Jin Shanqing's hand, and whispered, "Thank you, without you, I don't know what I would do!" "And me, don't you thank me?" San Bangzi didn't stay idle in front of him. Seeing that he could reach the southwestern corner of the city by turning a few more alleys, Jin Shanqing stopped San Bangzi: "You first pull Miss Er to hide, and I will take a look ahead. Come out if there is no danger." "I'll go." San Bangzi pulled Jin Shanqing's sleeve with his dirty hands. "You are wearing a leather robe. If you go out from this area, you don't need a patrolman. Anyone who sees you will know that you are not from this area. Patch, even a rich man." Baoyi leaned on the car seat, his feet throbbed with pain, and sweat appeared on his forehead. "Can you still bear it?" Jin Shanqing is the kind of person who will spend money to hire the best doctor. At the same time, he is willing to take care of the patients himself. Even though he was born as a young master, whoever ruins his family can do everything. "Why don't you come down for a walk?" Bao Yi thought about all the people who had fled. Although they were rich and poor, and had different tempers and dispositions, they all had one goal—to overthrow the Manchu Qing Dynasty and establish the Republic of China.Hearing the sporadic gunshots in the distance, she reached out to Jin Shanqing, "Hold my hand." San Bangzi came back after a meal, carrying a bunch of paper bags and cattail bags, big and small, and said pantingly, "West road and south road are full of patrolmen, so I can't get through it. I see, It happened that there was a mutton shop that didn't come to the door, so I bought some food, you can go home with me." Jin Shanqing had already lost her way after making several turns and turns, only to find that the further she walked, the surrounding houses gradually got higher and looked like a courtyard. Finally stopped at a door.San Bangzi said, "Don't worry, the police won't come here." It is said that this is a yard, but in fact there is only space for a car, plus a small fat man can squeeze through. There are two houses in the north and south respectively. The walls are full of half-bricks, and the roofs don't look like tiles. "Sister, sister, have you hung up the curtain yet?" After entering the door, San Bangzi yelled, straightening his neck.In the room on the left, a young woman replied with a pleasant voice: "There is no one here today. There is cornbread left for you on the stove, eat and go to bed early." "Sister, I have brought guests." "Nonsense, I'm stuck without eating. It's not in the middle of the night to catch up with the hot quilt." "It's my friend, get up and boil some water. She sprained her ankle." "Sister, sorry to bother you, please do me a favor." Jin Shanqing interjected. There was a creaking sound at the door, and Eldest Sister Qian was holding an oil lamp in her hand, wearing a water-red jacket with elbows patched, and bound her feet. When she saw Baoyi, she was surprised, "You bastard, how can you get a female guest?" Come? Could it be your...?"
