Chapter 35 Joseph of Arimathea: Ten Years Later
In the heart of the Nazarene ran two springs: the one of intimacy with the God he called Father, the other generally of joy which he called "the kingdom above."
I miss him in my solitude, tracing these two springs in his heart. On the bank of a spring I meet my own soul; sometimes a beggar and a vagabond, sometimes a princess in a royal garden.
I traced another spring in his heart, and on the way I met a man who had been beaten and robbed of his gold and silver, but he still had a smile on his face; See him tear-stained.
Later, I also heard the sound of these two springs in my chest, and I was very happy.
The day before Pontius Pilate and the elders arrested him, I visited Jesus, and we talked for a long time, and I asked many questions, which he answered with kindness and concern. When I left, I already knew that he is the Lord of our world.
