Chapter 53 Peach blossoms don't know where to go (51)

The peach blossom forest is in a small valley surrounded by mountains. I remember the first time I walked into the forest, I was pleasantly surprised as if I had strayed into a peach blossom garden—the peach blossoms were in full bloom, and the mountain birds sang melodiously.Sitting alone in the peach blossom forest, the peach blossoms are reflected in the green hills in front of me, and the haze is shining brightly across the trees. As if missing the beauty on the side of the water, I miss the Peach Blossom Fairy on the top of the mountain. After a few days, I couldn't bear to go up the mountain.Along the way, I excitedly told my companions about the beauty of peach blossoms.Unexpectedly, as soon as we arrived at the peach blossom forest, we were greeted only by the green leaves on the branches, and the peach blossoms had already drifted away.I was very surprised: "How could this be? The two days ago, it was clearly opened well? Why did it only take two days to thank you?"

"Are there really peach blossoms?" asked the companion. The peach blossoms all over the mountain used to dance with the spring here, but now there are only a few residual red flowers and us who passed by the peach blossoms. Recalling that Cui Hu of the Tang Dynasty once revisited the old place, the old man had nowhere to look for, only the old peach blossoms remained, so he wrote the poem "I don't know where to go, but the peach blossoms still laugh at the spring breeze".But I am "the peach blossoms don't know where to go, and the human face is still smiling in the spring breeze".

what!I wandered in the peach blossom forest in a state of distress, looking up from time to time. The green hills are still there, the birds are singing as before, who recalled the Peach Blossom Fairy to the sky overnight? How can I tell that the peach blossoms have really bloomed?Just like peach blossoms bloom and fall, many things have happened and existed as they really are, but they disappear in a blink of an eye, such as "a short time has passed, and it's just a sudden". Can we deny the fact that it once existed? Even the vicissitudes of life, the changing of things and the changing of stars, are the most natural phenomena. It’s just a thousand years, and life is like a mayfly. If you can’t see the birth and death changes of "become, live, break, and emptiness", you mistakenly think it is is eternal. In fact, the world is as big as the mountains and rivers, as small as the trivial matters of the world, and even the individual's body and mind. Where is the myth that does not change?

This is the so-called "empty"!It used to exist, but it is not eternal. Everything is in the midst of impermanence. Many people think: "Buddha's 'emptiness' means nothing. Since everything is empty, everything ceases, and hard work is meaningless." In fact, "emptiness" does not mean "nothingness", nor does it deny existence , but we need to see clearly the origin and death of causes and conditions, and be able to adjust in time during the changes, so that we can live more freely. Walking out of the peach blossom forest, I remembered Zhu Ziqing's sentence: "When the peach blossoms wither, they will bloom again."Yes, next spring, it will open again, and the pink smile on the mountain will make us forget that it once withered.

Doesn't the relationship between the blossoming of peach blossoms and the birth and death of Xie just explain the meaning of "emptiness"? (This picture is provided by Wu Xiaodan)
