Chapter 74 heart of all things

light life 林清玄 501Words 2018-03-18
Every time I go to a place with beautiful scenery, green grass, and flowers and trees, I will feel grateful in my heart, grateful for the beauty, greenness, and prosperity of this world. I often think that the so-called "good Feng Shui" means that the air is fresh and the water is clear. The so-called "good news" means living in a place with verdant plants and flourishing flowers and trees. The so-called beautiful mind is the mind that can be considerate of all things, and the mind that can treat every plant and tree with tenderness. It is not easy for us to see a grass grow green and a flower bloom colorfully. To have good feng shui, good fortune, and be cared for by a beautiful heart, we must realize that every flower and every grass symbolize the unity of all things. Only when we keep our hearts in our hearts can we understand the true meaning of what the Zen master said, "All the green and green bamboos are Dharma bodies, and the lush yellow flowers are nothing but Prajna"-every plant contains the Buddha's Dharma body, and every yellow flower is full of wisdom!

The Vientiane we see looks so beautiful and quiet, but it actually has a very hard-working inner world. The roots of every plant are busy absorbing nutrients and water from the ground, the stems are busy transporting and circulating, and the leaves are performing photosynthesis. Every cell of the whole plant is breathing heavily—in fact, the tree is very busy, and this kind of thriving is exactly the meaning of "everything in everything" in Zen Buddhism. Trees are thriving for the sake of the beauty of life. People who want to live in good wind and water and build up the blessings of life should also work hard to move forward to the beautiful state of life?

A peaceful tree can arouse our feelings, not to mention the colorful butterflies, flying birds in the sky, and those who meet and come again?
