Chapter 48 wake up early

Before I knew it, I was participating in the morning sleep meeting. There is Sishou Mountain in Taipei near my home. In recent months, I have often climbed it early in the morning. I know some people who go to bed early. In this way, I participated in the morning sleep meeting. It is a bit embarrassing to participate in the morning sleep meeting at my age, because most of the members of the "early sleep meeting" are old people and women. They are either retired or have nothing to do at home, so they have time to spend the best time of the day on the hill. I am neither old nor young, and I am a busy person. I am an outlier in the "morning sleep meeting".I don't know how the word "Zaojue" came from, it may mean someone who "goes to bed early and wakes up early".So, can all people who go to bed early and wake up early can be said to "go to bed early"?

In our society, many people go to bed early and get up early, but they do so in order to seek greater power, monopolize greater interests, and pursue greater fame. When all kinds of needs are sought, is this kind of person considered "early sleep"?Going to bed early should not just go to bed early and get up early.Early awakening should be "early awakening". Because I have seen clearly that power, fame and fortune will eventually be empty, I opened my spiritual door as soon as possible, which is an early awakening.Knowing that the pursuit of life is just a game and a dream in the end, it is an early awakening to explore the key of your own god as soon as possible.Realizing that now is the only moment in life that can be grasped, and entering a state of clarity and joy, this is also an early awakening.Therefore, going to bed early is not just a simple matter of going to bed and waking up early, it is a matter of letting go, picking up, and being free from entanglements.

Sometimes I get up earlier and sing songs that I haven't sung for many years, and my heart is soaring with the morning breeze and birdsong.I feel that those who wake up early are all like children. Looking down at the overcrowded buildings in the East District of Taipei, I pray: I hope there will be more people who wake up early in this city!
