Chapter 38 Nanban Yellow Glaze
I bought a Japanese clay pot, which is the gentle yellow color of fully ripe lemons.
The price is very high, I really like lemon yellow, so I reluctantly bought it.When I got home and unwrapped the wrapping paper, I found that it said "Nanban Yellow Glaze" in the description of the color.
I remembered that Nanban Yellow Glaze is actually just a name like Huqin, Cucumber, Tomato, and Sweet Potato. This relieved my unhappiness at being called Nanban in China. In this world, races and races inevitably despise each other, but true beauty will not be overwhelmed by names.
I used a yellow pottery bowl given to me by Mino ceramic artist Zhu Bangxiong to match this Japanese pot. I don’t know if they use the same glaze, but they are all very beautiful and very authentic yellow.
Really beautiful eyes are the best glazes that can color life, regardless of the name.
