Chapter 107 Chongqing at a glance

Chongqing at a glance Chongqing University, I only knew about it in the past two years. In the past, I only knew that Chongqing was an island, but the island seemed to be nowhere near that big.Two years ago, I heard a friend talk about it, so I knew otherwise. He never took Chongqing seriously. But when he walked into Kuimen two years before the Anti-Japanese War, Chongqing was almost the same as Shanghai; he was really surprised at that time. When I arrived in Chongqing last July, I was spared this shock. However, after staying for a week, I had a lot of places to go, and I had a map in my hand. When I left, Chongqing was still a golden body in my heart, and I couldn't figure it out.Chongqing is so big, I still can't say it now.

In the past, many people, including some Sichuanese, said that Chongqing was lively and tacky, and I always believed that it was a conclusion. Not always.Lively, yes, it has been even more so in the past two years; tacky, but not so.I lived for a few days on a hill on the south bank.My friend's house has a small porch, facing Chongqing City.Early in the morning, the river is foggy, and the shadow of Chongqing City is looming in the fog.Chongqing is narrow enough from north to south, but long enough from east to west. It unfolds like a landscape painting with light ink on a fan.The fog gradually dissipated, and the outline gradually appeared. The fan was colored, but it was only faint, and it seemed that the cloudy and sunny days were not much different. The so-called vulgar bungalows, separated by a strip of water, turned out to be so simple and elegant, who knew!Besides, in the city, in the evening, my friends and I were walking around Zaozilanya and Guanyinyan.A lamp and an eye convey secret words, as if there is no one around. No one, where is the tackiness?

Coming from Kunming, I thought along the way that after so many bombings in Chongqing, the scene must have been miserable.Although it is not mentioned in the newspaper, it is expected. However, unexpected!I took a sedan chair, took a rickshaw, took a bus, and saw a lot of streets. There were blast marks and rubble fields, but I had to be surprised that the whole Chongqing city was still majestic and majestic! There was still a steady stream of cars and pedestrians on the street, crowded next to each other, and not a single one was downcast. One morning, I was sitting in the spacious soy milk shop at Huangjiaya Pass, and there were several cannon carts driving on the street.Everyone in the store got up to look, and there were quite a few people gathered along the street. The eyes of these people are full of comfort and hope.As long as there is comfort and hope, the scene of bombing Chongqing will not be miserable. It dawned on me. ——Just look at the big bombing last fall. Once upon a time, our company was built again!
