Chapter 96 Deshana's story

Taste of Forbidden Fruit 张小娴 458Words 2018-03-18
A few months ago, a friend gave me The Last 14 Tuesday Lessons by Mitch Albom.I put it on the bookshelf and had no time to read it. Yesterday, I had a sudden whim and read the first few pages. As a result, I finished the whole book in one night. Morrie was Mitch's favorite professor in college.Sixteen years after leaving school, Mitch reunited with Morrie by chance. At this time, in his seventies, he was suffering from ALS, which was the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis suffered by the physicist Hawking, and there was no cure for it. During the last years of Morrie's life, Mitch visited him regularly every Tuesday. Those were the last fourteen lessons the teacher had given him, teaching him about dying and living.

There is a story in the book that both teachers and students like: In the rainforest of South America, there is a Deshana tribe. Some people die, some people die and some people live, so the energy in the world will always be full. When the Deshana hunt to feed themselves, they believe that the animals they kill leave gaps in the spirit world, but when these Deshana hunters die, their souls fill the gaps.If no one dies, there will be no newborn birds, beasts or fishes. We are creatures in the same forest. We take from nature and give back to nature.I would like to dedicate this story to all those who have lost their loved ones.
