Taste of Forbidden Fruit 张小娴 394Words 2018-03-18
When I was young, I envied my classmates who could study abroad. In Form 2 and Form 3, several students also went to the UK and the US to study in order to avoid the HKCEE.Some students avoided repeating grades. Although I knew that my family could not afford it, I still had many dreams of studying abroad. On the eve of a classmate leaving Hong Kong to study, I said goodbye to her on the phone. In fact, she and I were not that close, maybe it wasn't true that I didn't want to part with her at the time.I just envy her that she can go to study abroad. However, this kind of dream of studying abroad is over after the fourth form.I find my way.The subjects I like are better studied in Hong Kong, and foreign countries are not suitable for me.

When it comes to Form 5, the best classmates will also go to Canada for further studies. At that time, I was not willing to part with her, I was really reluctant, not envious. However, today, if you ask me about my opinion on studying abroad, I will suggest that if you have the opportunity, you should study abroad. Universities in Hong Kong are pre-vocational schools. This is my deepest experience. What everyone learns in college is just job skills. The university here is not aimed at cultivating a college student with a vision and a mind. Knowledge is of course to be pursued by oneself, however, the pursuit of knowledge also requires a platform. The platform of Hong Kong is too narrow.
