Chapter 14 Proof of "The Monument of the Maitreya Pavilion in Dayun Temple"

The stele of Maitreya Chongge in Dayun Temple was erected in the third year of Tang Tianshou, and it is located in Renshou Temple, Yishi County, Shanxi.For the full text, see Hu Pinzhi's "Shanyou Stone Carving Series" [2].According to Hu, the rubbings of today are often tedious, so there are quite a few mistakes in the full text, especially the author of the first line.Yu Yu Yimaochun bought new rubbings from Chang'an. However, he corrected more than 20 copies of Cong Bian.There are many mistakes in the last three lines, and I will not write them again today. "The Monument of the Maitreya Chongge in Dayun Temple", the inscription on the stele has a total of 34 lines, ranging from 65 to 68 characters, and it is the official script.The title is "Written by Du Deng, the former Xiaolang", and "Master Jing of Qianxian County is good at calligraphy". "Old Book of the Tang Dynasty: The Book of Empress Zetian": In the first year of Zaichu (689), "in the seventh month of autumn,... there were ten monks who wrote the "Dayun Jing" forged. It was promulgated to the world, ordering each prefecture to set up Dayun Temple, with a total of thousands of monks." The inscription of Dayun Temple said: "On February 24, the second year of Tianshou, it was set up as 'Dayun Temple'; until the first month of the third year On the 18th, the quasi-return amount was 'Renshou Temple'." (2) Hu Pin, whose name is Qisheng, was born in Tianmen, Hubei in the Qing Dynasty. "Shanyou Stone Carvings Collection", forty volumes, collected more than 700 stone carvings from Shanyou (now Shanxi) from the fourth year of Wei Zhengguang (523) to the Yuan Dynasty to the 27th year of Zhengzheng (1367).There are prefaces of Hu's Guangxu 1898 (1898), Xin Chou (1901) and Miao Quansun's Guangxu 1898 prefaces.
