Chapter 48 Talk about the martial arts novels I have read

——“About Martial Arts” I heard that my friend is going to write "History of Chinese Martial Arts Novels". For a person who writes martial arts novels, this is really something to be very happy and excited about. The history of martial arts novels has been around for a long time, and it has also been a long time since martial arts novels were not valued by others. Now someone has finally stepped forward to make a systematic record for this kind of novels, so that they can also occupy a place in the history of novels in the future. , this work itself is undoubtedly a great event in the history of martial arts novels; anyone who writes martial arts novels should come to participate in this grand event.

So I can't help seeing Lie Xinxi, but it's a pity that I neither have the courage nor the ability of Brother Ni Kuang. I'm just like a savage who wants to share my experience and feelings about martial arts novels. Written out, it is neither a formal record nor a serious comment. If it can arouse a little bit of interest from readers and pave the way for Brother Ni Kuang's work, then I will be satisfied. one There have always been many different theories about the origin of martial arts novels—since Tai Shigong’s "Biography of Rangers", there have been martial arts novels in China—of course this is the most grandiose one, but people who accept this kind of theory There are not many people.

Because martial arts novels are legendary, it would be a bit self-deceiving to compare them with the serious biographies of Tai Shigong. Among the Tang people's novels, there are only some stories that are relatively close to martial arts novels. In Volume 5 of "Tang Ren Shuo Hui", in Zhang Qian's "Er Mu Ji", there is a story that is very "martial arts". "At the end of the Sui Dynasty, Zhuge Ang in Shenzhou had a bold personality. Gao Zan in Bohai heard about it and made it for the purpose of setting up chicken gizzards. Zan is small for its use, but it will be set up tomorrow. Dozens of Qu Ang, cooking pigs and sheep are eight feet long, pancakes It is more than ten feet wide, wrapped with stuffing as thick as a courtyard pillar, served on a plate as a wine bowl, and performed a vajra dance to send it off. ("Qu" means invitation.) In the future, Qu Zan will have hundreds of guests. Cars for wine, horses for roasting, chopping with chopsticks, gravel and garlic, singing yaksha song and lion dance. Zan will cook a pair of twins over ten years old tomorrow, presenting their heads and hands and feet, and all the guests spit it out. Anghou Daily Assume, first order the beautiful concubine to serve wine, the concubine laughed for no reason, shouted down, and steamed for a while. The dairymen ate some fat and meat until they were full. Zan was ashamed and ran away at night."

The description of Zhu Ang and Gao Zan's wildness and cruelty in this story is unbelievable. This description is also close to the more cruel descriptions in modern martial arts novels. But this story is fragmented, and its form is still far from the novel. At that time, there were also many stories in folk novels, legends, commentaries, and Yinzier, which were very "martial arts". It is indistinguishable from the characters in modern martial arts novels. In martial arts novels, the main weapon is the sword, and the descriptions of swordsmanship, from the Tang Dynasty onwards, are much more miraculous than the descriptions in modern martial arts novels.

The swordsmanship of Hongxian and General Da Li has been exaggerated to the point of myth, but the legend about Aunt Gongsun is undoubtedly well-founded, and it is by no means a castle in the sky. In Du Fu's "Watching Gongsun Da Niang's Disciples Dancing Swords", the description of Gongsun Da Niang and her disciple Li Shiriniang's swordsmanship is very vivid and vivid. "In the past, there was a beautiful woman, Gongsun, who danced her sword in all directions. The viewers were as depressed as mountains, and the sky and the earth were low for a long time. (Fire + Huo) was like Yi shooting nine sunsets. Wrath, just like Jiang Hai congeals the light..."

Du Fu is a poet. Although the poet's descriptions are inevitably close to exaggeration, judging from Du Fu's character and his writing habits, even if he is exaggerated, he will not be too far off the mark. What's more, Zhang Xu, a great calligrapher of the Tang Dynasty known as the "Sage of Grass", once said to himself: "When I first heard that the princess was fighting with the bearer, I got the meaning of brushwork. Later, I saw Gongsun's sword dancing, and I got the spirit." It can be seen from this that Aunt Gongsun is not only a real person, but her swordsmanship must also be very impressive-although the sword weapon is not a sword, it is a dance, but sword dancing can also be regarded as a kind of swordsmanship. Not enough.

Then, by analogy, the description of martial arts in martial arts novels is not completely groundless, at least it is not as absurd as some "defenders of the literary world" say. These ancient legends and records, bit by bit, are the origin of martial arts novels, and then gradually evolved into the current form through folk commentary, Tanci and storytelling. "Peng Gong's Case", "Shi Gong's Case", and "Three Heroes Sword" are all collected and written based on "storytelling", which can be regarded as the earliest batch of martial arts novels that our generation can come into contact with.

Originally, there were no Seven Heroes but "Four Heroes and Five Righteousnesses". Later, after a generation of literary master Mr. Yu Quyuan (Yue) added revisions and additions, adding Black Demon Fox Zhihua, Little Zhuge Shen Zhongyuan, and Xiaoxia Aihu, it became the current version. , and popular so far. So, strictly speaking, Yu Quyuan is also the predecessor of those of us who "write martial arts novels". Zhang Jiexin's "Sword of Three Heroes" is a relatively late work, so its style is closest to the current martial arts novels. The most important character in this novel should have been "Golden Dart Shengying". His "Welcome the door three times", "Shake the head one", "Fish scale purple gold knife" are all "famous in the world" weapons , but he is not a hero who can make people excited.

He is too cautious, too timid, and a bit cunning, and his disciple Huang Santai has the same personality. In comparison, Shandong Dou Erdun, who was injured by Huang Santai's escort, is much more heroic than them, but Dou Erdun Later, he was defeated by Huang Tianba, Huang Santai's son. Shengying, Huang Santai, and Huang Tianba are all heroes in the same line, but they are not true typical heroes. Shengying is the fourth apprentice of "Swordsman" Ai Lianchi, but his martial arts are much worse than his senior brothers. Seeing sorrow, the big-headed ghost king Xiahou Shangyuan, even compared with his fifth junior brother "Flying Jade Tiger" Jiang Bofang, and sixth junior brother "Hidden Fishing Moon" Ye Qianlong, can't be compared.

So I have always wondered why Zhang Jiexin wrote the hero in his book as such a person. Only now did I understand that he had his own reasons for writing in such a way. In the social environment of the late Qing Dynasty, people were not encouraged to be heroes at all, and it was the mature and prudent gentleman who most people believed should be praised. Like other novels, martial arts novels are influenced by social habits, so from a martial arts novel, it is not difficult to see the background of the author at that time. Zhang Jiexin's "Swords of Three Heroes" not only has a loose structure, but also has too many characters. "Storytelling" transcribed, well-received storytelling, in response to the demands of the audience and the owner of the bookstore, has no choice but to extend it indefinitely. Of course, it will inevitably become too big in the end, and it will even fail to end.

I especially mention this book because almost all the martial arts novels later have this common problem. The development of characters and stories often deviates from the main line. The two most notable examples are Pingjiang Buxiaosheng's " "Legend of Heroes of Jianghu" and "Returning the Pearl" from the landlord. Pingjiang Buxiaosheng and Huanzhuzhuzhuzhu are both talented writers with great knowledge and memorization. Their works are vast, magnificent and unpredictable. Xiang Kairan, the unscrupulous student of Pingjiang, is a figure of the same era as Liu Senyan, the hero of Sanxiang. His "Legend of Heroes of the Jianghu" is said to be based on the legend of Liu Senyan, and the protagonist in the book-" "Golden Arhat" Lu Xuanliang's disciple Liu Chi is the incarnation of Liu Senyan. But later, the development of the story has completely deviated from this main line. The super master written earlier turned into a vulnerable character. Many people read this book, and their interest is reduced after half reading it, just like Some people only watch the first eighty episodes of "Red Mansion"; they just stop watching "Three Kingdoms" after seeing the dead Zhuge frighten away the living Sima. Because the latter part is a bit frustrating to read, but the first part is very exciting, and you can even say that you will never tire of it. Therefore, "The Legend of Jianghu Heroes" was not only a sensation at the time, but also among martial arts novels, It can also be regarded as an immortal masterpiece. There are not many examples of this kind of masterpiece that is only half wonderful, and it is the same with He —— the best thing is that these two books themselves have many similarities, and half of the first one is based on some fantasy kingdoms. , to satirize the sickness in the society at that time, and the sad and ridiculous side of human nature. In China, there is the country of adults and the country of small people. In China, there is also the country of gentlemen and girls. It is a pity that readers of later generations often only accept the attraction of the book's fun and ignore the moral. Although the structure of the novel is also very loose, the taste is consistent. The character of each character can definitely echo back and forth. , this book is undoubtedly more successful than "The Legend of Jianghu". In addition to the vivid and prominent characters, the scenery in the book is also a must. It describes the beauty of the ancient living room, the essence of taking utensils, and the exquisite food. There is no martial arts novel that can compare. When reading this book, it is like reading a very interesting cookbook and travelogue at the same time. I have always believed that the taste of martial arts novels should be multi-faceted, and only in martial arts novels can all kinds of tastes coexist at the same time. ----There is no martial arts in detective mystery novels, but detective reasoning can be found in martial arts novels; there is no martial arts in romance novels, but literary romance can be found in martial arts novels. This is a very strange feature of martial arts novels, and the way of writing images can just give full play to this feature. Therefore, this way of writing has always occupied a very important position in martial arts novels, and Li Shoumin, the owner of Huanzhu, has become a generation of masters who inherit the past and usher in the future and establish a school. In addition to "Shu Mountain", Huanzhu Zhuzhu's works include ,,,,,,,,,, etc... Most of them are closely related to "Shu Mountain". Almost none of these books are really complete, because the situation he set is too big, so it is difficult to clean up the mess. Until now, there are still many martial arts novels that have the same problem. However, among the authors of the same era as Huanzhuzhuzhu, there is one person who has never been influenced by him, and this person is Wang Dulu. Wang Dulu's works are not only fresh in style and self-contained, but also delicate in writing and rigorous in structure, and each book is very complete. His famous works "The Crane Surprises Kunlun", "The Sword and Gold Hairpin", "Sword Qi and Pearl Light", "Crouching Dragon, Hidden Dragon", and "Iron Riding the Silver Vase" are stories of the same system, but each story is independent and unique. It ends very neatly. He was also the first person to bring the style of writing literary novels into martial arts novels. Famous writers at the same time as him include Zheng Zhengyin, Zhu Zhenmu, and Bai Yu. In addition to these few people, Huansu Louzhu who wrote "Shengziqi" and Xu Chunyu who wrote "Blue Blood Mandarin Duck" also have many readers, but compared If they come, it will be a bit inferior. Zheng Zhengyin is the first martial arts novel writer I admired. His writing is concise, and he writes about the affairs of the chivalrous forest, and he is an expert in writing martial arts. The birth branch is lifelike, so many people think that he himself must be good at martial arts. He is a prolific writer, and his books are usually very short, so they appear very neat. The longest one is the most famous one. Although his writing line is not many people imitated, but he The martial arts moves and the size of the guild in the book are still being adopted, so he undoubtedly has the status of a sect's suzerain. If the martial arts novels at that time were divided into five sects, Huanzhu Louzhu, Wang Dulu, Zheng Zhengyin, Zhu Zhenmu, and Bai Yu were the heads of the five sects. Zhu Zhenmu's "Monument of Seven Killings", "Mrs. Rakshasa", "Island of Enchantment", "Longgang Enmity"... Bai Yu's, "Argentina Palm", "Three Birds in the Lion Grove"... Each of them is a sensational masterpiece, which once made me sleepless nights and nights. In addition, there is a book from time to time, although it is not well known, but it is my favorite. That is "God Plays the Universe" and "Four Swords Shaking the Rivers and Lakes" co-authored by Bai Yu and Yu Fang. I never knew what kind of person Yu Fang was and why no more works came out after only two short books. In fact, there are not many works by these famous authors, and almost no new works were published twenty years ago, so the period between the 1940s and 1950s can be regarded as the most depressing period in martial arts novels. for a while. During this period, there was only one "famous writer" who plagiarized, and copied "Black Mole" and "Women's Night Pearl" from Huanzhu Zhuzhu's book into a best-selling martial arts novel. It wasn't until the beginning of the Fifty Generations that someone came out to "revive" martial arts novels, creating a new situation for martial arts novels, and making martial arts novels flourish for another twenty years. In these 20 famous writers, the richness of works and the changes in writing skills have reached a new peak, especially compared with the era of Huanzhu Louzhu and others. The person who created this situation is Jin Yong. two I would rather not discuss the authors of contemporary martial arts novels, but Jin Yong can make an exception. Because his influence on this generation of martial arts novels is unmatched by anyone. In the past 18 years, no matter who wrote the martial arts novels, it is inevitable to be more or less influenced by him. He has combined the strengths of various schools and schools, among which injustice is martial arts novels, and he has also integrated Chinese classical literature and modern Western literature to form his own unique style, which is concise, clean and vivid! His novels are tightly structured, and although the scenes are large, they can echo from beginning to end, and the characters in them are more vivid and ready to emerge. Especially Yang Guo. Yang Guo is undoubtedly one of the loveliest characters in all martial arts novels. The relationship between Yang Guo, Little Dragon Girl, and Huang Rong can undoubtedly be regarded as one of the most touching love stories in martial arts novels. The most important thing is that he created the style of this generation of martial arts novels, and few people can break through. But in his early works, there are still shadows of others. In it, it is described that Wen Tailai, the "Running Thunder Hand", fled to the home of the hero Zhou Zhongying, hid in Kujin, and was betrayed by Zhou Zhongying's ignorant youngest son for a telescope. After Zhou Zhongying knew about this, he killed his only son with pain. . This story is almost the incarnation of the most famous novel of the French writer Merimee, except that the gold watch has been changed into a telescope. But this will never affect Mr. Jin Yong's creativity, because he has completely integrated the story into one of his own creations, and it seems to be completed in one go. Seeing this story in the middle of the story is almost as good as watching Merimee's "Neil's" The original works in the story collection of "Beauty God" are even more touching. When I saw the story of Zhang Wuji's parents and the golden-haired lion king on the extreme edge of Iceland, I also saw the shadow of another great writer-Jack London. The character of the Golden Retriever Lion King is almost that of a "sea wolf". But this imitation is justifiable. Because he has completely attracted and melted the "sea wolf", so that people can only see the golden retriever lion king and see the sea wolf. The biggest advantage of martial arts novels is that they can cover everything and embrace everything - you can write "love literature and art" in martial arts novels, but you cannot write martial arts in "literary" novels. Everyone will inevitably be influenced by others when writing. "A large number of articles in the world" is a bit exaggerated, but it is not completely unreasonable. A writer's creativity is certainly valuable, but the power of association and imitation are equally important. When I started my martial arts novels, I almost imitated Mr. Jin Yong. After ten years of writing, I was still imitating Mr. Jin Yong when I was writing. I believe that among martial arts novel writers, there are not many people in the same situation as me. Mr. Jin Yong is undoubtedly something to be proud of. Although the style of martial arts novels created by Mr. Jin Yong is still enough to attract thousands of readers, it is time for new and changing martial arts novels. Because too many martial arts novels have been written, and readers have read too many. Many readers can already predict the ending after reading the first two books of a book. Best of all, the weirder the story, the more the reader can guess the ending. Because the same "weird" story has been written countless times, disguise, poison, fake death, and the kindest woman is the witch head-these traps are hard for readers to take the bait. Therefore, the weird changes in the plot can no longer be regarded as the biggest attraction in martial arts novels. The conflict of human nature is always attractive. In martial arts novels, it is no longer necessary to write about gods and devils, but there should be human shortcomings, and even more human emotions. The great writer Flaubert who wrote it once boasted a lot. He said: "After the nineteenth century there will be no novels." Because he felt that all the plots of the story, all the emotional changes, had been written by the great writers of the nineteenth century. But he was wrong. He overlooked a point. Even if it is the same storyline, if viewed from different angles, the novels written are completely different. Human concepts and opinions are originally changing forever, changing with the times. Although martial arts novels are written about ancient things, it is not impossible to inject the writer's own new ideas. Because fiction is inherently fictional. Writing novels is not writing historical biographies. The biggest purpose of writing novels is to attract and move readers. If the plot of martial arts novels can no longer be changed, why can't it be changed a bit, writing about human emotions, the conflict of human nature, and the climax and action are created from the conflict of emotions. three Of course, action cannot be absent in martial arts novels, but shouldn't the way of describing action also be changed? ——This Taoist slashed out with one sword, but saw the sword light dotted, the sword flowers scattered, and he had struck seven moves in the blink of an eye, which is the essence of Wudang's "Liangyi Sword Art". ……………………………………… The big man shouted angrily, took half a step forward, and his hand was like lightning, he snatched the opponent's long sword, and with a light bend, the long sword made of refined steel was actually split into two by him. part. ……………………………………… This young girl's sword moves lightly, her body follows the sword, and the sword travels with her. In the blink of an eye, the opponent only feels her sword shadows in all directions, and doesn't know which sword is the real one?Which sword is false. …………………………………… The scholar chanted in a long voice: "Advise you to drink more wine, and go west to Yangguan without any old friends." The sword in the palm was slanted out with the sound of chanting, the lofty, clear, wonderful, desolate meaning in the poem has completely melted into this sword. ………………………………………… Zheng Zhengyin's martial arts description: "Falling wild goose on flat sand", "Black bird scratching sand", "Black tiger stealing heart", "Pull weeds to look for snake", the mysterious magic power of the Zhulouzhuzhu school, the naked witch... These, of course, are a bit outdated, but haven't the readers of the "action" I wrote earlier read it many times? How to write actions is indeed a major problem in martial arts novels. I always think that "action" does not necessarily mean "strike". Actions in novels are different from movies. Actions written in movies can give people a vivid and vigorous stimulation, but actions described in novels do not have this power. The description of actions in a novel should first create conflicts, emotional conflicts, event conflicts, and let all kinds of conflicts pile up into a climax. Then create an atmosphere, a chilling atmosphere. After all, martial arts novels are not guides to martial arts. Martial arts novels also teach you how to beat and kill people. Although blood and violence will always have its appeal, too much blood and violence will make people sick. In almost all novels, it is inevitable to have a love story. Love is the most basic and earliest of human emotions, far earlier than hatred. We can even say that without love, there would be no human beings. Almost all great love stories are full of ups and downs, misunderstandings, difficulties and crises, which make readers cry for the lovers in the stories. Romeo and Juliet, Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, Wei Sheng who died hugging a bridge pillar... Although their difficulties could be solved, they died because of "misunderstandings" in the end. The hero and heroine in Siegel, their love can almost be said to be completely smooth, and no difficulties can hinder their love. The final outcome is still a tragedy. It seems that many people think that a love story must be a tragedy to be more touching. Among martial arts novels, Wang Dulu's novels are typical of this type of story. Especially Li Mubai and Yu Xiulian in "The Sword and Noble Hairpin". Although they love each other deeply, they can never be united. Because Li Mubai always thought that Yu Xiulian's fiancé "Xiao Meng" died for him, if he married Yu Xiulian, he would not be loyal enough, and would be sorry for his friends. That's the only reason they can't combine. I think this wish is too far-fetched. Four Not only do I think so, even Jiangnanhe, Shi Fatzi, De Xiaofeng in the story, and even Yu Xiulian's senior brother Yang Tieqiang think that this reason cannot be a reason at all. It's a pity that Li Mubai is a very stubborn person, no matter how others persuade him, no matter how Yu Xiulian expresses her love for him, at the last moment, he still cut off the thread of love with the sword of wisdom. Because of this, many people may think that Li Mubai is a tough guy with blood and loyalty. But I think this is the most unlovable point in Li Mubai's character. I think he can't bring it up and let it go, not only has he failed Yu Xiulian's affection, but also failed the kindness of his friends. He even felt sorry for "Xiao Meng", because when Xiao Meng was dying, he asked him to take good care of Yu Xiulian, because Xiao Meng knew Yu Xiulian's feelings for Li Mubai. But he caused Yu Xiulian a lifetime of pain. From the point of view of modern psychology, Li Mubai can be said to be a psychopath. Because of his family's misfortune, his parents died when he was a child, and his uncle treated him badly, and he never received love since he was a child, so he was afraid of love and of taking on family responsibilities. So as long as a girl loves him, he always has to run away and never dare to puff up his chest to accept it. He did this to Yu Xiulian, and he did the same to that poor prostitute Zhi Niang. He's downright self-pitying, if you take it too far. Although the story is undoubtedly successful, not only in moving the readers but also in the hearts of the people, I don't like it. I always think that there are enough tragic and unfortunate things in the world, why can't we make readers laugh more? , why should they shed tears? Yang Guo and Xiaolongnv are different. Although their love has gone through countless waves and tests, their love has never changed. Yang Guo loves Xiaolongnv regardless of everything and without conditions. He doesn't care about Xiaolongnv's origin and age, or whether she is defiled or not. I think this is the real man. If Xiaolongnv feels that she has been defiled by others, and feels that she is older than Yang Guo, so she is not worthy of Yang Guo, so she hands Yang Guo to Guo Xiang, and says to them: "You are the ones who are truly worthy. to be happy.” If this story really ended like this, I would definitely vomit blood with anger. Some people may think that this story is too legendary and unrealistic, but I think love stories should be full of fantasy and "romantic". Just because I don't like stories with tragic endings from novels, most of the stories I write have happy endings. It is said that tragic sentiment is higher than comedy. I have always been the opposite of this statement, I always hope to create some happiness for others, I always hope to improve others' confidence and love for life. If everyone could be full of love for life, wouldn't the world be much more beautiful? Once when I went to Hualien, I was introduced to a friend who turned out to be my reader. He is a very honest and honest person. This kind of person usually suffers from other people's losses and has been fooled by others, and he is no exception. After being slightly drunk all night, he told me that for a while he was depressed and even wanted to die, but after reading my novel, he suddenly found that life is worth cherishing. After listening to his words, the joy in my heart was like receiving the most honorable medal. In one of my early novels, I wrote a very absurd story. A boy and a girl, when they went to catch butterflies, their home was destroyed suddenly, when they returned with the beautiful butterflies, their parents and relatives had died tragically, and their home had been turned into ruins. They are still young, but there is no one they can rely on in the world. They are only on their own. Since then, the boy has tried his best to take care of the girl. He has suffered all kinds of hardships, suffered from hunger and cold, and when he has food and clothing, he always gives it to his little lover first. In this case, of course, his development cannot be sound. In the end, they finally met their saviors, and two extraterrestrial experts took them in respectively. The boy followed a lonely old man who lived on the tower, but the girl was taken in by a famous heroine. Although they parted temporarily, they knew that sooner or later they would meet again. So they worked hard, and they all practiced a very high level of martial arts. The martial arts a boy practices is feminine, and he spends most of his time in that solitary tower, coupled with the torture he suffered during his development, he will of course be a very short person when he grows up. That girl's kung fu practice is healthy, and her development is very sound. When they reunited after going through untold hardships, their longing was suddenly frozen like ice. The boy stood in front of the girl like a dwarf. This ending was originally full of irony to life, and it should have been a very bitter tragedy. But I refuse. I still let the two of them combine, and they are the most envied and respected loving couple in the world. Because their love didn't change Beijing opera because of anything, so it deserves to be respected. The tragedy turned into a comedy. Churchill was a great man and also a very optimistic person. He said a thought-provoking sentence: "This lucky encounter can often make people escape greater misfortune." As long as you can hold this perspective, nothing in life can knock you down. Failure is bad, but success often comes from failure. Fives But there are indeed many tragedies in life, so no author can avoid writing tragedies. It's a tragedy. A pair of the most respected couple in the martial arts world, the wife unexpectedly fell in love with a notorious thief. In the society at that time, this is undoubtedly a tragedy. When talking about this story, many friends who wrote said that Xiao Shiyilang should die for Shen Bijun in the end, so that readers can leave a bitter but beautiful memory, and this style is high. I still don't want to. In the end, I still left a way for the lovers, and I still left hope for them. "The Story of Hooligan" is also a tragedy. He fell in love with a woman who was the least worthy of his love, and she didn't love him at all. Under these circumstances, a tragic end was unavoidable. But A Fei didn't fall down because of it, instead he realized the real life and love because of it. He was not knocked down by sorrow, but gained strength from sorrow. This is the real theme of "Iron Daredevil Soul". But this concept is not much invented, I stole it from Somerset Maugham's "Human Chains". Imitation is not plagiarism. I believe that no matter who writes, they are inevitably influenced by others. Although "Madame Milan" was written in the shadow of Defen du Maurier, no one can deny that it is still a great masterpiece. In Qiong Yao's works of a certain period, "Roaring Heights" can be seen almost everywhere. The name "Blue and Black" is definitely not plagiarized, because he has his own thoughts and ideas. If you are attracted and moved by a person's work, you will often involuntarily imitate him when you write. When I write, I am most affected. This book has been made into a very sensational movie by Marlon Brando, and the old man in it is the shadow of this man. He is the leader of the "Mafia", as stubborn as a rock, but as cunning as a fox. Although he did evil, he was generous, righteous, upright and selfless. He never complained, because he loved life and was full of love for his family and friends. When I see such a character, I can't get rid of his shadow no matter what. But I do not admit that this is plagiarism. If I could introduce all the great characters I saw in other people's masterpieces into martial arts novels, even if I was insulted and ridiculed, I would be willing. In martial arts novels, what is most needed now are some great and lovely people, not those unkind gods. No matter what kind of novel you write, you must write with flesh and blood, but it is definitely not the kind of blood that comes from being stabbed by a sword, or the flesh that is cut off by a knife, let alone the kind of "flesh and blood" or "blurred". The flesh and blood I am talking about is living, living people with flesh and blood. The blood I'm talking about is hot blood, and even if it has to be shed, it must be worthwhile. Tie Zhongtang, Li Xunhuan, Guo Dalu... are not people who like to bleed. But they would rather shed their own blood than have others cry for them. Their blood is full of enthusiasm and can flow out for others at any time, as long as they think what they do is valuable. They are ready to sacrifice themselves for the ones they truly love. There is only love in their hearts, no hatred. These are my three favorites among the characters I have written. But they are men, not gods. Because they also have human shortcomings, and sometimes they can't stand the blow, they will also suffer from pain, sorrow, and fear. They are all men who stand upright, but their personalities are completely different. Tie Zhongtang was taciturn and endured humiliation. Even if he was wronged and wronged by others, he never complained. That person would never know the sacrifices he made for others. six The tears of this kind of person flow into the stomach, and even if someone knocks out the teeth of this kind of person, they will swallow them with blood. But Guo Dalu was different. Guo Dalu is a person who screams, jumps, cries and laughs. When he wanted to cry, he would cry, and when he wanted to laugh, he would laugh. When his friends were sorry for him, he would point at this person's nose and curse, but a minute later, he would pawn off his pants and buy this person a drink. He likes to exaggerate, he likes to enjoy love, he likes to spend money, he never wants to die, but if he betrays his friends, he would rather cut off his own head than agree. He is a bit frivolous and lustful, but if he really falls in love with a woman, nothing can change him. Li Xunhuan's character is closer to Tie Zhongtang, but he is more mature and understands life better than Tie Zhongtang. Because he has experienced too much suffering, and the pain in his heart has been hidden for too long. He seems to be very negative and bored, but he is still full of love for human beings. Full of love for all mankind, not just for his lover, his friend. So he can live. The only person he has ever tortured in his life is himself. There are several differences between Li Xunhuan and Tie Zhongtang and Guo Dalu. He is not a healthy person. To use the term of modern primary medicine, he has tuberculosis, and he often coughs non-stop, and sometimes even coughs up blood. Of all the protagonists of martial arts novels, he is perhaps the most unhealthy. But his mentality is absolutely healthy, his will is as strong as steel, and his control is also excellent, which few people can match. He avoided the world, escaped from his name, and no matter what he did, he didn't want others to know. But when he was alive, he had already become a legend. Not many people have seen him, but very few people have never heard of his name, especially his knife. Romantic Swordsman. His sword is never shot casually, but as long as he makes a shot, he will never miss it. I seldom write martial arts that are too miraculous, but Xiao Li Feidao is absolutely miraculous. I have never described the shape and length of this knife, nor have I described how it is shot, such as being practiced. I have only mentioned that he often sculpts to stabilize his hands, and I leave the rest to the imagination of the reader. The martial arts in martial arts novels are all created by imagination. In fact, his knife can only be imagined, and neither can be described. Because his knife was originally a symbol, symbolizing the power of light and justice. So even though Shangguan Jinhong's martial arts were better than his, he still died under his throwing knife in the end. Because righteousness will surely defeat evil.
