Chapter 124 One, two, four, lucky to meet Li Ao

■Gong Debo is really a man with heart and revenge. He is really amazing. He left this book. Fortunately, he met Li Ao in the end, and you helped him. □ Gong Debo secretly wrote down his state of mind when he was in prison: I have made up my mind to go to jail for a long time, and I have decided to compete with Jiang for the length of my life... I am afraid that my death will not be known to the world, and it will take too much advantage for those who killed me.So I still hope to get out of the prison alive and tell the world about my story and the weird things in the prison.Because the world only knows that there are spies, but the spies have such prisons, which make the prisons of Hitler and Stalin even worse.Few people in the world know that China ranks first in the totalitarian countries in the world in terms of prison progress. To record it and pass it on to the world is not only my hope, but also the unanimous hope of all those who "enjoy" its prison flavor. So I feel duty-bound for this kind of task.

On February 18, 1957, as soon as Gong Debo returned home from prison, he immediately buried himself in writing: I returned home at 7:00 p.m. on February 18 (1957), but the press still didn't know about it. Before I went to Taipei, I recorded my seven years in prison at home, so as not to let me go again. Incidents can prevent the past seven years from being obliterated. This is equivalent to the United States after the Pearl Harbor incident, and it cannot but take precautions. After this account is completed, it will be kept in the safest place beyond the reach of political magic. Although I will die in a hurry in the future, this account will naturally meet the world. The little book I am publishing now is what was recorded at that time; it was supplemented in October 1951 (1962); it was slightly revised in December 1958.I believe this little book has some historical value.

After "this little book" was written, it "disappeared". Gong Debo said optimistically, "I will meet the world." In fact, it was an adventure thirty-four years later (1991). Four years later, Chiang Kai-shek died first, at the age of eighty-nine, in 1975; five years later, Gong Debo, who "competed for the length of his life", also died at the age of ninety, in 1980.But the world still belongs to the Jiang family, and "this little book" is still like a yellow crane. It wasn’t until ten years after Gong Debai’s death (1990) that General Qiao Jiacai, the great secret agent of the Kuomintang, came to my house and tacitly handed me a manuscript, which turned out to be Gong Debai’s black prison. Records of the Revenant!Gong Debo's hard work of "self-willing to meet the world" during his lifetime, if it does not fall into my hands thirty-three years later, I don't know how long it will be lost.If General Qiao Jiacai hadn't given me the manuscript, this manuscript might have been "unpublished".
