Chapter 40 Chapter Ten Six-Eared Macaque——The Devil Can Turn the Heavens

Finally, it comes to the six-eared macaque. In fact, when the author first read it, he was always entangled in a name, which is "heart ape". What the hell is "Heart Ape"?Is it Monkey King? The mind ape is uncertain, and the mind horse is galloping. Some people say that the "mind ape" is Sun Wukong, and the "mind horse" is the white dragon horse. However, the author's attainments in Buddhism are not deep, almost none, so according to the author's simple and popular According to my understanding, Heart Ape is not Monkey King. To be precise, Heart Ape is not Monkey King himself, not an individual, but Monkey King's inner demon, which is a kind of thought.

When Sun Wukong's heart demon materializes, the heart ape really appears as an individual, and this individual is the six-eared macaque. The author said in the previous article that Sun Wukong was completely subdued by Tathagata Buddha through three stages. One is to be pressed under the Five Elements Mountain; In fact, Sun Wukong has always resisted throughout the process of learning scriptures, against Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, against Tathagata Buddha, against Tang Monk, against the magic spell, and against his own heart. It is to kill the six-eared macaque with one stick. From then on, the real Monkey King died with the wind, and the Monkey King who obeyed the leadership became a Buddha immediately.

Here, the author first wants to explain a question, that is, how did the six-eared macaque come out? The six-eared macaque is different from any monsters in the past, because he has no mountains, no territory, no deployment, and is alone. No one knows where he jumped out of. Even the Tathagata only explained his category and did not explain His origin, God knows if it is the result of Tathagata's deliberate nonsense. But not knowing where it came from does not mean that there is no source. The source of the six-eared macaque is very simple, which is the heart of Monkey King. The title of the chapter where the six-eared macaque appears is called "God madly kills the grass bandits, but the ignorant ape is at ease". Monkey King killed a group of robbers. .

"Shen Kuang" refers to Sun Wukong, and "Tao Mo" refers to Tang Seng. Why do you say this? There is a sentence in the book that has a deep meaning-"Sun Dasheng has a heart of disharmony, and Bajie and Sand Monk also have a heart of jealousy." I mean, the master and the apprentice are both facing the opposite.” At any time, any problem on the way of learning scriptures is not caused by just one person, it is the problem of the entire team of learning scriptures, and the appearance of the six-eared macaque is no exception. The emergence was done under the collective action of the entire scripture learning team. Sun Wukong's disharmony is due to his pride and arrogance and the rebellion that has been suppressed for a long time and finally broke out. The envy and jealousy of Bajie and Sand Monk Hatred and Tang Seng's inconsideration further contributed to the expansion of the demons, and even the six-eared macaque finally appeared.

"Masters and apprentices are both right and wrong" is well said!Uniting face to face, disagreeing secretly, the catastrophe of the learning team came again. Having said so much, some people may wonder, why do you say that the six-eared macaque is Monkey King's demon? Also, why did the six-eared macaque appear, and what is his purpose? He could kill Tang Seng obviously, why didn't he kill Tang Seng? Why did Sun Wukong kill the six-eared macaque? Why didn't Tathagata stop? Why is it said that the six-eared macaque is Monkey King’s heart demon? The author has the following arguments to support it:

First of all, the above has already explained that the six-eared macaque appeared immediately after Monkey King was driven away by Tang Seng, and it appeared pretending to be Monkey King. What does this mean? That's why he appeared by such a coincidence, and he dared to pretend to be Monkey King. And further speculation, if he has no contact with Monkey King, how does he know that Monkey King was driven away by Tang Seng?In the original book - the master practiced alone, suffered too much, and was in panic, when he heard a loud sound, which made the elder look around. It turned out that Sun Xingzhe was kneeling by the roadside, holding a magnetic cup in his hands and saying: "Master, without my grandson, you can't even get enough water. This glass of cold water, you just drink it to quench your thirst, and wait for me to melt your fast." The elder said, "I won't drink your water! I'll die of thirst immediately. Appointment! I don’t want you anymore! Go ahead!” Pilgrim said: “Without me, you can’t go to the west.” Sanzang said: “If you can go, you can’t go, I don’t do your business! Throw a hozen! Just come and pester me for what you want!” Then Xingzhe changed his countenance, became angry and angry, and scolded the elder, "You cruel bald man, you are so despicable to me!" He turned the iron rod, threw away the magnetic cup, and looked at the elder's back, and the elder fainted on the ground. , unable to speak, he held the two green felt bundles in his hands, somersaulting, and disappeared. The six-eared macaque said the same thing as Monkey King, and even said "I am very cheap", which is clearly the voice of Monkey King who is dissatisfied with Tang Seng's expulsion twice, and cannot be forgiven after several pleadings.

Second, as mentioned earlier, the six-eared macaque does not have a mountain, territory, or deployment, which does not conform to the characteristics of an ordinary monster.Later, the mountain field occupied by the six-eared macaque was Huaguo Mountain. Why did he occupy Huaguo Mountain?Because Huaguoshan is Sun Wukong's deep home. You know, it is okay to fake a person's appearance, but it is impossible to fake a person's living habits and personality. If the six-eared macaque is not the original heart of Monkey King, then why can he let those monkeys who have followed Monkey King since he was born Monkey grandchildren, do you have a sense of identity with him and think he is Monkey King?

Third, the six-eared macaque has exactly the same abilities as Monkey King, isn't that nonsense? There may be monsters in the world with skills similar to Monkey King, such as the Bull Demon King, but how could there be a monkey monster with exactly the same skills as Monkey King? They all do somersaults, they all use golden cudgels, they all have seventy-two transformations, and they all know the past and present of Monkey King.Tathagata Buddha said that there are four kinds of monkeys mixed in the world, which do not belong to the ten species. This six-eared macaque is one of the four kinds of monkeys. This point does not make sense at all after careful consideration.Because in addition to the six-eared macaque and the natural stone monkey, the other two monkeys, the Tongbei monkey and the red-legged horse monkey, are all subordinates of Sun Wukong. Do macaques have the same ability as Monkey King? And it has exactly the same appearance and sound?

Fourth, when the six-eared macaque and Sun Wukong are together, Guanyin Bodhisattva can't tell them apart—the Bodhisattva calls Mucha and Shancai to come forward, and whispers: "You help the other one by one, and when I secretly recite the "Tight Band Curse" "Look at that, the one that hurts is true, and the one that doesn't hurt is fake." The two of them each helped one.The Bodhisattva secretly recited the mantra, and both of them cried out for pain, hugged their heads, and rolled on the ground, only shouting: "Don't read, don't read!"The Bodhisattva had no choice but to order the wooden forks of the heavens to come forward to help. The gods were afraid of hurting the truth, and they didn't dare to do it - it can be seen that when Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva recites the mantra, both of them hurt, and both of them really hurt, otherwise Avalokitesvara would not be able to tell the difference, which explains a problem, The magic spell works on both monkeys, why both work? There is only one reason, one body, two points.

Fifth, the six-eared macaque and Monkey King can't tell which is real and which is fake in Li Jing's demon mirror, but why can you hear it when you listen to it?The reason is very simple. The demon mirror distinguishes the appearance, and the truth listens to the inner voice. The body is the same, but there is a struggle in the heart. Therefore, the six-eared macaque is Sun Wukong, and Sun Wukong is the six-eared macaque. The appearance of the six-eared macaque made Sun Wukong see his true self once, and the death of the six-eared macaque also indicated that Sun Wukong ended his past self by himself.

The next question, why did the six-eared macaque appear? What is his purpose? In the original book, we can sum up that the six-eared macaque did two major things after it came out. One was to pretend to be Monkey King, hit the old monk Tang Seng, snatched the luggage for learning scriptures, and ran back to Huaguo Mountain; Make trouble in the Three Realms and become famous all over the world. The latter event was also caused by the former event. Generally speaking, the appearance of the six-eared macaque was to snatch the luggage for the Buddhist scriptures, and then find a few monkey monsters to replace Tang Seng, Zhu Bajie and Drifting Monk to the west to seek the truth. Sutra, cultivate to a positive result. But why would the six-eared macaque do this? To solve this problem, one has to return to the ideal of Monkey King, who pursues freedom and equality, and despises hierarchy and discrimination. Okay, the answer is out, why only Tang Seng, Zhu Bajie and Drifting can learn scriptures and achieve positive results, why can't ordinary monsters? On the way to learn the scriptures, among all kinds of monsters we encountered, how many monsters are far more powerful than Zhu Bajie and Drifting Monk? Why can't they? The six-eared macaque refused to accept it, just to break this rule, to break the unspoken rules in the black-box operation. However, note that the rules of the game are determined by the person who made the game. The six-eared macaque cannot be changed, not to mention that the six-eared macaque cannot be changed, nor can Monkey King five hundred years ago. Therefore, the six-eared macaque is doomed to fail again. However, the ending of the six-eared macaque was beyond the author's expectation. In the original book, when the public stepped forward and lifted the bowl, they saw the original image, which was a six-eared macaque.Sun Dasheng couldn't bear it, he swung an iron rod and beat him to death with a single stroke, which is rare until now.The Tathagata couldn't bear it, and said: "Good! Good!" The great sage said: "The Tathagata should not be merciful to him. He injured my master and robbed me of my burden. According to the law, ask him if he gets money and hurts others. If he robs him in the daytime, he should do it. Execute the crime!" Tathagata said: "Go and protect Tang Monk and come here to seek scriptures." Why did the six-eared macaque die in the hands of Monkey King?Since the Tathagata Buddha couldn't bear it, why didn't he stop it?Sun Wukong blatantly committed murder in front of Tathagata, but with the boundless mana of Tathagata Buddha, is it really impossible to stop it?The answer is of course no. In fact, the reason is very simple. Sun Wukong killed the six-eared macaque to show his heart, and the Tathagata Buddha did not stop him to test Sun Wukong's heart. It is better for Sun Wukong to solve his inner demons by himself, such as coming to the Buddha to solve it, because Sun Wukong's behavior shows Tathagata that I am really weird, not forced to be weird. Sun Wukong, who had a heart demon, could not reassure the Tathagata, but after the heart demon was slain, the Tathagata Buddha finally felt relieved, so he said: "Go and protect Tang Monk and come here to seek scriptures." After Sun Wukong killed the six-eared macaque, the demons in his heart disappeared and he completely converted. The Tathagata Buddha was happy, Guanyin Bodhisattva was happy, Tang Seng, Drifting and Bajie were also happy, and even the unhappiness caused by Sun Wukong's killing of the robber disappeared immediately. Yu invisible. The masters and apprentices didn't even need to explain, as if nothing had happened. However, Monkey King knew that the last struggle was over and failed, and he could never go back...
