Bodhisattva Lingji also knew that he was wrong, so he was very courteous. He served tea and invited dinner at the same time, which is very rare among Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. What's more rare is that Lingji Bodhisattva doesn't call Sun Wukong like Tathagata and Avalokitesvara. .It is written in the chapter - in a short time, I arrived at Huangfeng Mountain.The Bodhisattva said: "Great Sage, this monster is a little afraid of me. I just live in the clouds. You go down and fight with him, and lure him out so that I can use my magic power... When the traveler caught up with him, he raised his stick and beat him, but was stopped by the Bodhisattva." : "Great Sage, don't hurt his life, I will take him to see Tathagata. "

"Great Sage", this is almost the exclusive name for Sun Wukong by those gods who are not too domineering, as well as the land, mountain gods, and city gods. Lingji Bodhisattva also called it affectionately, without feeling nasty at all, and even respectful. Of course, all this is not because Bodhisattva Lingji believes that the name of Monkey King is well deserved, but it is the same as his previous offering of tea and rice, or because he was caught by Monkey King because he condoned the Yellow Wind Monster's murder. I have to be respectful. And Lingji Bodhisattva's way of dealing with people can be seen from this. Lingji is clever, clever, and exquisite.

It is worth mentioning that Lingji Bodhisattva, like Guanyin Bodhisattva, is also a master of demons and murderers. If it wasn't for Tang Seng to learn scriptures, pass through Huangfengling, and destroy it by the way, I don't know how many years this monster can run rampant. What's even more hateful is that this monster is not related to Lingji Bodhisattva, nor is it his pet, nor his mount, nor is it his family member. It is clear whether the Yellow Wind Monster regularly enshrined something to Lingji Bodhisattva, so it was tolerated by him.This also shows that Lingji Bodhisattva is extremely incompetent and has a bad style of work!

Sun Wukong and others will immediately look at the usually unknown Lingji Bodhisattva with admiration.

Just imagine, if Lingji Bodhisattva had captured the Yellow Wind Monster and sent it to Lingshan, how could Lingji Bodhisattva have the chance to perform? Who would know Lingji Bodhisattva? And the reason why Lingji Bodhisattva dared to indulge the Yellow Wind Monster was because of a time loophole.A few days in the middle of the mountain, it has been thousands of years in the world, and Lingji Bodhisattva dare not disobey the teachings of the Tathagata, but the Yellow Wind Monster is a demon in the lower realm, even if it has been rampant for decades, it is only a cup of tea on the Lingshan side. Therefore, Lingji Bodhisattva is not afraid of the Tathagata's investigation.

This also reveals a quality that is necessary for a successful person, careful thinking, and exhaustive strategies. When the yellow wind monster was caught, Sun Wukong wanted to kill the yellow-haired mouse, but Lingji Bodhisattva refused, because he wanted to bring him to see the Tathagata. What are you doing with a yellow-haired mouse to see the Tathagata? There are many advantages to doing so. Lingji Bodhisattva first used this to show that he did not dare to have illegal intentions and made a special appointment; second, he showed that he had made great contributions and cleared a major obstacle for the great cause of learning scriptures; third, he said that although he caught the yellow wind monster, But how to deal with it is not self-determined, and I specifically asked the Buddha for instructions; the fourth is to describe the process of subjugating demons to the Tathagata.

Some people may ask, the first three items are understandable, what is the benefit of the fourth item "to describe the process of subjugating demons to Tathagata"?The advantage of this is of course that the Tathagata Buddha will also greatly increase his affection for Lingji Bodhisattva. Don't forget that Bodhisattva Lingji used the flying dragon stick when he was subduing demons, and Bodhisattva Lingji told Sun Wukong that the flying dragon stick was given by the Tathagata Buddha. Foresight has so much power, if it weren't for the old man's magic weapon, you wouldn't be able to pass the level of Huangfeng Monster, you know?

This is tantamount to flattering the Tathagata indirectly, the shooting is so subtle and the effect is amazing, the Tathagata's heart must be indescribably happy. The second appearance of Lingji Bodhisattva made people feel much more comfortable. It was when Sun Wukong was blocked by the Flame Mountain. The Rakshasa woman sent Sun Wukong to Lingji Bodhisattva with a fan. Monkey King saw the savior. Lingji Bodhisattva is still very respectful to Sun Wukong, the fifty-ninth chapter writes like this - Lingji said: "Don't worry, the great sage, this is also the fate of the Tang monk, and he will succeed in teaching the great sage." The traveler said: "How do you see?" Success?" Lingji said: "I was taught by the Tathagata, who gave me a wind-fixing pill and a flying dragon stick. The flying dragon stick has subdued the wind demons, and the wind-fixing pill has not been used yet. Now I have given it to the great sage. The discipline guy fanned you not to move, but you asked for the fan to put out the fire, and that’s all you deserved?" Pilgrim bowed his head in salute, thanking him endlessly.The Bodhisattva took out a brocade bag from his sleeve, put the wind-fixing pill and the traveler in his collar, sewed the needle and thread tightly, and saw the traveler go out, saying: "If you don't have time to save money, go to the northwest. Raksha's mountain field." This plot is very interesting, and one of the details is even more interesting, that is, Lingji Bodhisattva sews clothes for Monkey King, a majestic Bodhisattva, doing needlework, which made the author laugh. First of all, if you are an inconspicuous person, don't get used to being inconspicuous, but always be ready to appear on camera, seize the opportunity and don't waste it.Because even you don't know when you will be lucky enough to break into the public eye, and if you are not well prepared, you may be silent forever.This is the case with Lingji Bodhisattva, who placed the Yellow Wind Monster on the only way to learn scriptures, was always ready, and finally got his wish. Second, make good use of the resources in your own hands, even if it is someone else's, you must make it useful to you.Feilong Baozhang and Dingfeng Pill are the resources that Lingji Bodhisattva can use, but their ownership lies with Tathagata, but Lingji Bodhisattva has made good use of them, used them twice, and succeeded twice. Third, humility is always good. Even if you are underappreciated, you can't show arrogance to others.Lingji Bodhisattva's ability should not be low, otherwise Tathagata would not have entrusted him with such an important task, but Lingji Bodhisattva's status is not high, a typical person who is not punished for his talents, but Lingji has no self-pity, nor is he lonely. It's about humility and humility. When meeting Wukong, he calls "The Great Sage" and never forgets to invite him to drink tea and dinner. Even if he is angry with him, it will disappear after a long time. Fourth, think before and after doing things without revealing anything.Lingji bears a lot of risk in letting the Huangfeng monster become a demon, but high risk implies high reward. Lingji is meticulous in thinking, thinks before and after, and cleverly uses the factor of "time difference", and finally completes his smooth appearance. wishes.
