There is a proverb in Beiping that "there is Tanzhe first, and then Youzhou". Although I yearn for it, I never have the opportunity to pay respects. One year, after the beginning of summer in Peking, there was little rain, and the room temperature at noon was as high as 33 degrees Celsius, which was rarely seen in the summer season in Peking. The ancestor Ci suddenly moved to the Yaxing of Tanzhe Temple in the west of Beijing to rest and escape the summer heat. During the summer vacation, the author naturally went with his attendants. Tanzhe Temple is located in the northwest of Beiping, more than ninety miles out of the city to Luohou Ridge, which is the path into the mountain.Master Yao Guangxiao traveled to Tanzhe in his poem: "The rocks and hills are open to the eyes and ears, and the mist and green dripping wet the clothes. Said it was well described.

As soon as you enter the gate of Tanzhe Temple, the most eye-catching thing is the double owl kiss on the roof of the main hall, which is radiant and full of smoke and clouds. It is said that the owl is one foot and five feet high, flying in the air and standing in various shapes, and its divine posture and celestial beauty are beyond the reach of ordinary craftsmen. There is a long-lived eminent monk in the temple, everyone calls him Master Yuanzhao. According to his careful research, the temple was first built in the Liang Dynasty. Guardian of the dragon. In the Tang Dynasty, a Master Huayan taught scriptures in Tanzhe. Tanlong listened to the Dharma in hiding every day, eager to see the color of the Master. The mountain god told the dragon that only when the Venerable Master is angry can he show his face, and then the gods, dragons, ghosts and gods can see his true face. Then Shenlong intentionally overturned and trampled a bowl of rice offered in front of the Buddha. Under the rage of the Venerable Master, Shenlong saw the face of kindness and made a wish in person, wishing to donate his own dragon cave to make offerings to the World Honored One.One night, there was strong wind, rain, thunder and lightning. First, two owls gushed out of the pool to the ground, and after a while the pool leveled off.Now the main hall is the base of the pool in those days, and the ridge of the roof where it is located is the old things that emerged in those days. There are bluestones on the left and right of the Buddha seat in the main hall. If you shake them vigorously, you can hear the sound of surging tides hitting thousands of schools, and there are gurgling streams oozing out.Master Yuanzhao said, this is the main vein of Haiyan.Next to the hall is a pavilion with wings, and a dry Zhe plant in the center, which is less than ten feet long. It is said that the pan bends the sky, like a dragon, and Tanzhe Temple got its name from this.

Although the platform in front of the main hall of Tanzhe Temple is not as spacious as the altar of Jietai Temple, it is more than enough for one or two hundred people to sit in a row.On the night of the full moon, when the soul is rising, the monks said that anyone who is destined to enjoy the cool air on the platform can only see overlapping hills and mountains surrounded by clouds. For a moment, the moon hangs high, and then the stars in the distance flicker and flicker, and they gather into pills in a flash.Flying around in the sky, shining brightly, as if trying to compete with the bright moon. Most of the time, it seems that there are thousands of bright lights gathered suddenly, but after more than half an hour, they are all gone. The sky is clear, the ice mirror is clear, and there is no trace.According to ordinary people, it is the alchemy spit out by the fairy fox. As long as the moon is full, there will be such a miracle. But the four corners are steep and the peaks are lush and green, so where are the dead bones and rotten trees? Is it a fairy, a ghost, or a fox making alchemy? It remains a mystery to this day.

Daqing Erqing, the patron saint of Tanzhe Temple, is well known to everyone in the capital.Anyone who went to Tanzhe Temple to worship and rejoice, some people have seen it.According to the ancient legend, since Master Huayan said that Tanlong attained enlightenment and ascended to the top, the son of the dragon, Daqing and Erqing, have been guarding Tanzhe. The green snake suit is as big as an ounce and five feet long. The monk caresses its spine, looks back and licks the monk's arms, people and dragons tame it, and it is easy to come and go." It is a pity that the author only lived on the mountain for six days, and did not get a glimpse of the dragon's face. According to my friend Bai Zhongzheng, "Both big and small are incarnations, big and small." If it is really a descendant of Tanlong in the past, its life expectancy should be around 20 years.

Another treasure of Tanzhe Temple is the ink painting portrait of Patriarch Huayan, which is hung on the gable wall on the left side of the Buddha Hall.Huayan rides on a vaguely imaginary cloud dragon amidst the shadows of bamboo and bananas. There is neither inscription nor inscription, and the people in the temple can't tell which dynasty or generation it was painted by.Later, Zhou Yangchang of the Chinese Painting Association and Jin Gongbei of the Hushe Society, together with the photographer Zhang Zhida, carried photographic equipment, traveled to the mountains to visit ancient times, and took pictures of this ancient painting with a spotlight. After research by several famous scholars, it is believed that not only the layout is sharp and simple, but also the clothing patterns and hair buns are also profound and mysterious, at least the brushwork of the Northern Song Dynasty.Xu Yansun, the owner of Shuanghong Shop, copied a painting for several months, and held an exhibition of Shi Xian's calligraphy and painting in the Zhongshan Park Board of Directors, and exhibited it as a non-sale item.Fengshen Yidang, imposing manner mature. The old painter said that the pen is conceived, and it also has a bit of immortality. The author personally watched this treasure of Zhenshan Mountain, but unfortunately at that time I was not very involved in figure painting, so I didn't pay more attention to it when I saw it. Later, when I think about it, I feel that I missed it.

The Dashi Hall in the temple is dedicated to Guanyin Dashi. There is a worship brick in front of the altar in the hall, which is also a treasure in the temple.Legend has it that Princess Miaoyan, the youngest daughter of Kublai Khan, the ancestor of the Yuan Dynasty, practiced Zen meditation since she was a child. The Empress Dowager Xiaoding of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty came to Tanzhe to burn incense and worship the Buddha. She dug out the worship bricks, stored them in a brocade box, and brought them back to the inner palace. The old and new bricks are still distinct and can be distinguished at a glance. There is a stone carving embedded on the wall on the right. It is said that Master Yao Daoyan personally wrote the praise of Princess Miaoyan: "The double footprints of the Taoist salute, the hair on the body suddenly stands up. There is no beginning to slack and practice, and I feel that the clouds in the sky are fine. I The man of Xiangsi has never passed away, and he is diligent and courteous from day to night. His heart is filled with the holy face, his mouth is named, and his body is bent and stretched. Drops of water penetrate stones to the heart. It is like the beginning of a thousand covers, and it is like embracing a fine hair. Grinding a brick with a heel becomes easier, and the brick is easy to improve. Bricks penetrate the ground and bear the soles of the feet. Sometimes people disappear when the ground penetrates. I am alone and have nothing to do Doubt, and weep because of it. I wish that from now on, after prostrating, I will be diligent and step on the land of enlightenment. The situation will be smooth and snowy, and it will be like a sharp knife breaking through a new bamboo. It will be relieved by the edge, and the heat will disappear, and I will always be at ease everywhere. I also wish Anyone who sees and hears this will be relieved in a moment of slack." This praise contains philosophy, and Dai Jitao once wrote one for his relative Li Liusun and his poet friend Wang Linghu. In short, this ancient temple in the Jin and Liang Dynasties, whether it is a brick, a stone or a plant or a tree, has its own historical background, but it is far away from Chengluan, and it is gradually being ignored by people. The newspaper published two days ago that the scenic spots and historical sites in the mainland are no longer graceful and charming in the past. The famous gardens in Gusu are full of frowns and makeup, with broken eaves and walls, jade springs and verdant greens, as far away as Jietai and Tanzhe, and it is even more ruined and ruined. for the ruins.Tanzhe has long been haunted by supernatural powers. If a dragon knows something, it is time for it to fly into the air and spread its wings.
