Chapter 52 sleep and rest

"A fulfilling day brings rest; a fulfilling life brings rest." Da Vinci once said so; of course, he spoke in Italian, which may not be as symmetrical as the translation. "Peaceful sleep" and "peaceful rest", in the final analysis of a person's life, what they seek is this "peace". "To live in peace and harmony" turns out to be the greatest happiness. Work hard for meaningful things, no matter how big or small, after working hard, you fall asleep; you are busy with things every day, do a lot, sleep well, and you don’t know that old age is coming; then, when you are busy enough, you fall down and die , die with no regrets, and even have no time to think about whether there should be regrets. This is Da Vinci's "Xiang An".

My favorite is "being busy with something"; if you are busy with something, you will not be afraid of labor or tiredness; "being busy with nothing" is futile and wasteful, and you become an inappropriate person, in an inappropriate position, and do inappropriate tasks ; Knowing that it is inappropriate, but unable to withdraw, can you not be distressed?Doing blindly like this, recklessly, for nothing, wondering in the heart, poor energy flow, generally unable to sleep peacefully. Those who wait and see, only want to deceive the world, deceive others, pretend to be serious, pretend to be an academy, pretend to be a master, pretend to be a big money, in short, pretend to be full but not real; To be able to sleep peacefully is no longer human.

I always like to tell such a story: A monk asked a certain Zen master: "A lion uses all its strength to catch a rabbit; it also uses all its strength to catch an elephant. I don't know what kind of strength it uses?" The Zen master said: " That is the power of non-deception." This "power of non-deception" is best said; only by not deceiving can one be fulfilled; only by being full can one bring peace and rest. If you also want to rest in peace, listen to Leonardo Da Vinci and do something practical, for example, catch a rabbit or a crocodile without deception; of course, it is easier to catch a crocodile if you want to rest in peace.
