Chapter 77 Letter to Feng Yuxiang[1]

(December 5, 1936) Mr. Huanzhang: From newspapers, radio, and friends in Shanghai and Nanjing, I learned that my husband was full of righteous indignation for resisting Japan and saving the nation. Although I didn't meet him, it was like meeting him. In the face of the catastrophe of national subjugation, regardless of party beliefs, they will suffer catastrophe. Therefore, it is only natural to cooperate to save the nation. However, Mr. Chiang Kai-shek is still going his own way, and has no determination to fight against Japan. Internally, he mobilized 300 regiments to "suppress the Communists."Recently, our army launched a counterattack. One brigade of Hu Zongnan's army was defeated and another brigade was destroyed.

There seems to be no urgent task at present to stop the civil war.Mr. Chengde climbed up and shouted, and all the mountains responded. Today is a truce, and tomorrow the Red Army and the Northwest "communist suppression" armies can immediately enter the Suiyuan[4] battlefield.Otherwise, the battles of Songhu on the Great Wall[5] can be used as a lesson. Although the country is a hundred miles away, it is impossible to reach it! Although Mao Zedong and Mr. are in different places, they are inseparable. Needle, dare not ask for it! Our anti-Japanese and national salvation program can be found in the letter to the Chinese Kuomintang on August 25th [6], and I sent someone to pay for it before. I accept it and inspect it. If you have any judgments, I would like to accept it.

Mr. Dong Zhentang[7], the old subordinates, have made great progress, which can be comforted. The book is not enough. Su Song Xunqi!
