Chapter 105 Each battle should focus on annihilating isolated and scattered enemies

(July 1, 1947) Zhu Liu, Nie[1] transferred to Yang Luo[2] and sued Lin Luo[3]: (1) There is still a period before the rainy season. After the battle between Caohe and Beihedian [4], we will rest for a whole day.If there is a good battle to be fought between Dingxing and Beiping, we should concentrate all our efforts to attack the weak enemy in that section, otherwise we should immediately move to the north of Yongding River and attack on Pingjin Road. (2) After each battle, if the injury is not serious, rest for a whole day to ten days before fighting the second battle. At present, do not plan to rest for a whole month.

(3) Each battle plan focuses on annihilating isolated and scattered enemies, and adequate preparations must be made for enemy reinforcements, but the focus of the plan should not be on reinforcements.Because under the current situation, the enemy is often afraid of reinforcements. If they are determined to reinforce, they will often concentrate their forces so that it is not easy for us to attack. (4) Those who can defend the occupied land (such as Zhengtai and Qingcang) should defend it with local troops; In short, our army must take the initiative and not be passive. (5) Immediately order Yang Luotai to report to the Military Commission Taiwan.
