The French text was originally called La Conquetedupain, published in 1892.In 1909, there was a Japanese translation of Happiness Qiushui ("Bread and Take", Minsha Edition).The earliest translation of the Chinese section was published twenty years ago.The publication of the full translation was also thirteen years ago (1927).My retranslation this time is still based on my old translation, but I have revised it with reference to the English, French, and German texts. (When I translated this book in 1925, I referred to Kotoku Shusui’s Japanese translation, which was later borrowed and lost. Now I have the new translation of Black Front Society in 1930).In addition, I also translated the preface of the German text.The preface of the French version is also my new translation, and the old translation uses Brother Zhentian's translation.As for the two prefaces of the Russian text, there is a translation by brother Jia Wei in the old translation, but this time I have re-translated it based on (in fact, I can only refer to it) Koike Eizo’s Japanese translation.I have not seen the original Russian text, and I am afraid that there must be some mistakes in my translation, which I have to leave for future corrections.The notes in these prefaces are all added by me.
