The rise of China has changed China and the world.With this in mind, I completed the book "China Touches the World" in 2008, and I was encouraged by the positive responses from readers.Then, I started the research and writing of this book.Like "China Touches the World", I try to use Chinese people's own words to interpret China and the world; I try to discuss various topics about China's rise with readers in a straightforward style. Part of the first draft of this book has been published in newspapers and magazines such as "Global Times", "Study Times", "Social Watch", and has received feedback from many readers, which has benefited me a lot.I would like to take this opportunity to say "thank you" to the editors and enthusiastic readers of these newspapers.

During the writing period, I had the opportunity to give lectures at Peking University, Fudan University, Beijing Normal University, Foreign Affairs University, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Shanghai Municipal Party School, "World China Studies Forum", "Shanghai Forum", "Wenhui Lecture Hall" and many overseas seminars Speech at the meeting.These activities, especially the process of preparing the speech and interacting with the audience, have deepened many of the ideas in my book.I would like to express my sincere thanks to the organizers of these lectures.
