"China Touched" is the first book I wrote after visiting hundreds of countries. I wrote at that time: China's rise "has touched the whole world, and will continue to touch the world". "China Shock" is the second thought-based book published after I traveled the world. I said at the time: "China's rapid rise in a model that the West does not recognize has brought considerable shock to the world." The rise of the "civilized country" where the millennium civilization overlaps with the modern state is the rise of a new development model and an independent political discourse, which may bring a new round of "millennium future" to the world. There are big changes'".

These two books were very popular after their publication, especially the popularity of "China Shock" was beyond my expectation. Some comments even said that "China Shock" shocked China. This should be an exaggeration, but I also know "China Shock" has indeed influenced many people, which probably confirms that many Chinese people have the same feelings and thoughts as me.In the era of great changes in China and the world, my works can influence and inspire so many people. As an author, I really feel a great honor. Now I present to readers the third thinking book "China Transcendence" written after my travels around the world, trying to explore China's "transcendence" of the West and Western models on the basis of "touching" and "shock".Many people in China are so fooled by Western discourse that they don’t even have the courage to look up at the West. How dare they imagine “beyond” the West. But I have lived in the West for more than 20 years and have visited all Western countries. I can say with certainty that it is an indisputable fact that China has caught up with and surpassed the West in more and more aspects.

This book mainly discusses China's transcendence of the West and the Western model, especially the United States and the American model, which includes the surpassing of the total economic volume, the surpassing of people's assets, the surpassing of social security, and the technological innovation. Transcendence, transcendence in institutional arrangements. In these fields, we have surpassed the United States in many aspects, and will soon surpass the United States in many aspects. In other aspects, through continuous efforts, we may eventually surpass the United States.Among them, the most meaningful is undoubtedly the transcendence of China's institutional arrangements, especially the transcendence of the political system.

From the perspective of a "civilized country", I explored and discussed China's own set of institutional arrangements.I think the key to the institutional arrangement of a modern country is to ensure that the three forces of politics, society and capital achieve a balance that is beneficial to the interests of the vast majority of people. The main reason why the "American Dream" has lost its glory today is that the power of capital in the United States seems to have overwhelmed political and social power. In contrast, although the Chinese model is still being perfected, the balance of China's political, social, and capital forces is indeed more conducive to the realization of the interests of the majority. This should be the main reason for China's relatively smooth rise in the past 30 years. The reason is also the main reason for the substantial improvement in the living standards of most Chinese people. It can be deduced from this: If the political systems of China and the United States continue to develop according to the current logic, the prospect of realizing the Chinese dream should be brighter and more exciting than the prospect of the American dream.

I also discussed the transcendence of Chinese discourse over Western discourse from the perspective of a "civilized country".The rise of a country must be accompanied by the rise of its own discourse.Without its own words, what a country does right will be seen as doing wrong, or it will only be seen as something done in the transitional stage, and it will eventually have to be abandoned. From the perspective of a "civilized country", I explained China's set of practices and the ideas behind them, and demonstrated that many of China's practices have their deep-seated rationality.

From "China Touched" to "China Shock" to "China Beyond", this is my mental journey of visiting hundreds of countries and thinking about China's rise, China's model and Chinese discourse, and it also constitutes my understanding of China's rise, China's model, and Chinese discourse. A trilogy of thoughts. This trilogy runs through a theme, that is, Chinese people should use their own thinking and words to comment on the affairs of China and the affairs of the world.I also hope that the views in my book can play a role in inspiring more people to think about related issues, and provide more and better ideas and suggestions for China to surpass the West and Western models in an all-round way and for the construction of Chinese discourse.

China is the only great civilization in the world that has lasted for five thousand years without interruption, and its cultural traditions are the most diverse, rich and complex in the world. The Chinese have a strong sense of historical destiny, because in the long history of thousands of years, China has been ahead of the West for most of the time, and China lags behind the West is something that happened in modern times. Returning to the top of the world, there are not many nations in the world who have the glory and dream of this "heavenly mission". We rose with the profound thoughts of great sages such as Confucius, Mencius, Laozi, Zhuangzi, Mozi, Xunzi, and Sun Tzu. We rose after we experienced the bloodshed and sacrifice of tens of millions of people and truly gained national independence. We are After fully interacting with the world and drawing on the countless strengths of other civilizations, the rise of this kind of country must surpass the West and the Western model not only in material wealth, but also in institutional arrangements and cultural concepts, and will definitely have a profound impact on China. affect the future structure and order of the world. The rise of China as a super-large-scale civilized country may indeed bring "great changes unseen in a thousand years" to the world. In fact, this great change has already begun. Wonderful stories are emerging every day, and more wonderful stories are yet to come. .
