Chapter 83 postscript

Twenty years from now, if someone reads my book again, he is likely to feel that my analysis today is slightly different from the reality of 2031.We are now in 2011 after all!It is quite difficult to make predictions on such a topic. But it's still solid in my opinion. This activity has an inevitable purpose, which is to better explain the development and evolution of China and most parts of the world, and prepare for the future. While formulating plans based on known data and development trends today, I will also use all available forecasting tools and basic experience summed up in various fields in recent years to extend them in a more secure manner.

This is in no way intended to predict the future, nor does it promote divination or futurology.Based on such unreasonable assumptions, we will be trapped in anxious or naive thoughts, unable to extricate ourselves, far from the reality of the new world that is coming. Likewise, I can imagine what the event is bound to unearth from the future! ... The United States is slowly declining; the European world and Western countries are fighting endlessly to maintain their respective hegemony; China has become the world leader, and emerging countries have emerged one after another. This period was not without crisis. These crises will come from exploding world population, growing climate anomalies, poverty, shortages of natural resources, the need to develop clean, stable and reliable energy sources, and conflicts and riots among different peoples, among others.

At the same time, we will also usher in amazing developments in the fields of natural science, high technology, human health and life expectancy. We invite you to take a stunning journey through the present and the future to see what huge challenges the newly emerging China and the whole world will face in 2030, and what major changes will take place.
