The court held that the principal culprit Gu Chujun's behavior constituted three crimes: the crime of falsely reporting registered capital, the crime of violating regulations and non-disclosure of important information, and the crime of embezzling funds , and was sentenced to 12 years in prison for several crimes, deducting the detention period, the actual execution was 10 years, and a fine of 6.8 million yuan was imposed.The remaining seven defendants in the same case were sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment ranging from 4 to 1 year.Gu Chujun and others refused to accept the judgment and appealed. In April, the Higher People's Court of Guangdong Province made a final ruling, rejecting the appeal and affirming the original judgment.
