In the recent period, no matter in mainland China, Hong Kong or Taiwan, many people are talking about a movie. Many friends from mainland China even made a special trip to Hong Kong to see the original version. Not long ago, they went to Taiwan for inspection, and some friends even gave up other activities. Went to the cinema in the middle of the night to watch the original. The reason why I didn’t enjoy watching it in the mainland and went to Taiwan to watch it was all because of the newcomer Tang Wei, and it was because of a move called "off".The media are all discussing whether this character in this drama should be removed, how Tang Wei should be removed, how Liang Chaowei should be removed, and so on.

I have watched the complete version and the clean version (mainland version) of this movie, and they are indeed very well shot. Eileen Chang spent 20 years working hard to write a novel, and Ang Lee brought this work to the screen. In the story, contradictions such as lust and abstinence, desire and ideal, action and emotion, rationality and instinct are intertwined. The mainland's clean abridged version sees only "caution" and no "sex".In my opinion, if there is no "lust" or instinctive impulse, but only "caution", "caution" itself has no meaning, just an empty dogma; if there is only "lust" without "caution", "lust" becomes It turned into a scourge and turned into a catastrophe of human desire.Put these two things in a specific environment, and use life and emotion to deduce a passionate young man, trying his best to kill the person he loves, but at the critical moment, the action fails due to emotion.Such complex human nature is intertwined between justice and ethics, which has become the best aspect of this movie.

This has to remind me of the mental journey of the private enterprises mentioned in this book for more than 20 years. The problems encountered by private enterprises in their entrepreneurship and development include original sin, political and business relations, corporate citizenship responsibility, and a series of management within the organization. The problem is the conflict between the "lust" of the desire for money and the "precept" of social ethics, policies and regulations. In the development process of private enterprises for more than two decades, if there is no desire, but only ethics and norms, our economy cannot have any vitality; on the contrary, if there is only the desire to chase wealth and money, there is no However, without the constraints of social morality, responsibility and legal norms, the desire for money will become a catastrophe for society. Therefore, the development history of private enterprises over the past twenty years is actually full of conflicts and adjustments between desire and system, desire and ethics, desire and legal norms. When desire itself breaks through the old norms, it will inevitably create a new "precept" - a new norm, and the new norms must guarantee and restrain the behavior of chasing money, so that desire can have a reasonable development direction. This is the historical logic of private economy and social progress.

In fact, the development process of private enterprises is a very painful process of conflict between emotion and ethics, and it is also a complicated process of balancing justice and wealth.I hope to explain this process, explain the thinking in this complex process, describe the characters in this complex process, and reveal the conflict between desires and ethical norms; I also hope that all Readers see the true human nature, see the "color" of people, and realize the importance of "precepts", so that they can develop healthily on the track of legal norms and moral ethics in the process of chasing wealth. This is also a topic that is most worthy of experience, analysis and reflection in this book.As an author, I especially hope that like Tang Wei, I can fully reveal human nature, human instinct, contradictions, confusion, misunderstanding, hesitation, swing, panic, depression and even excitement, and I will never hesitate even if it is exposed. The heart is pure, so it is clean.

This book was actually written intermittently, and I would like to thank Ms. Gan Qi for her initial encouragement in writing this book during these two years.Gan Qi is a very professional book planner in China. Although she is not in mainland China now, her encouragement and suggestions are very important to me. In addition, there are some friends who have greatly helped the formation of this book in the early stage, such as Ms. Li Yanhua. The way this book is written is also very unique. In order to make it easy for readers to read, I tried to keep it as colloquial as possible. The actual operation method is as follows: I make preparations in advance, and then invite my friends and subordinates to come over, dictate in the form of lectures, sort out the recorded texts, and then revise them in writing. If repeated several times, this book will form the current form pattern and colloquial style.Special thanks to CITIC Publishing House for their hard work in the final structure, design and text editing of the entire book, as well as editors Xiao Xinming, Jiang Lei, and Wen Hui, who have devoted a lot of effort to this book.I would like to mention my wife Wang Shuqi in particular.During the writing process of the whole book, she read almost every word, not only gave important comments, but also spent many nights helping to revise the draft. Without her full cooperation and hard work, this book would not have been possible in front of the reader.

Finally, I would like to give special thanks to Nie Jun. He is a very talented cartoon creator. He created 37 illustrations for this book, which added a lot of color to this book. Zhou Qiren is the economist I admire the most. Some of his ideas and suggestions have been helping Vantone and me, although he is often unaware of it.Perhaps this is the loveliness and greatness of academics and public intellectuals. When the book was finished, I asked him to read it, and he made important revisions, so I thank him from the bottom of my heart, as always. When everything was corrected and sent to the printing factory, I saw an interview with Tang Wei.In an interview with "Asia Weekly", she said frankly: "I finally got to this point, and I don't want to stop. Who knows in the future? Do as much as you can." As an entrepreneur of a private enterprise, this is also true. Exactly how I feel at the moment.I am grateful to Director Ang Lee and Tang Wei for their roles in the movie. They gave me a new perspective and a new feeling for my reflection on private enterprises.
