He sat with his arms around his knees on the hillside on the left side of the tunnel entrance, staring at her. From this distance, all she could see was that he was a boy, maybe a teenager, with fair hair blowing in the wind.He saw Dylan looking at him, but he didn't stand up, didn't even smile, just continued to stare at her. Sitting alone in such a desolate place, he looked a little strange.Dylan couldn't imagine how he'd get there, unless he was also a passenger in the car.She waved at him, glad to finally have someone to share her fear with, but he didn't respond. She thought she could see him sitting up a little more, but it was too far away to make out.

Her eyes were fixed on him, for fear that he would disappear all of a sudden. As she staggered along the gravel piles beside the tracks, across a weed-filled ditch, a barbed-wire fence separating the tracks from a clearing in the countryside, Dylan carefully clutched two twisted metal the top of the barbed wire in the middle of the knot, and pull it down hard. The barbed wire hung down a little, just enough for her to step her legs through it without any aesthetic feeling. When she took the other leg, she tripped and nearly fell over. She tried her best to hold on to the barbed wire. Although her body kept her balance, the wire stuck into her palm, pierced her skin, and blood oozed out.She took a quick look at the wound on her hand and rubbed it on her leg.A dark spot on the jeans made her take another look. There was a large patch of bright red on the trousers on the outside of her thighs. She stared at it for a while, and suddenly remembered that her hands had touched those sticky things on the floor of the car, and then rubbed them off her legs. After realizing what it was, her face turned pale with fright, and her stomach churned slightly.

She shook her head, trying to get rid of the disgusting images in her mind. She turned from the fence, her eyes fixed on her target again. He was sitting on a hillside about 50 meters away from him, at this distance, she could see his face clearly.Dylan smiled as a greeting to him, but he didn't respond.Embarrassed by the cold reception, Dylan kept her eyes on the ground as she trudged up the hill toward him.The mountain road was difficult, and she was out of breath after a while. The hillside is steep, and the overgrown weeds are not only wet, but also extremely difficult to climb over.Dylan had to look down at his feet, just in time for an excuse not to exchange glances with him.She didn't look up at him until she had to.

The boy on the hill just watched as Dylan walked toward him.He had been watching her since he walked out of the tunnel mouth.Watch her terrified like a rabbit out of its burrow.Instead of shouting to get her attention, he waited for her to see him.For a moment he worried that she would turn back into the tunnel and wondered if he should call her back, but she soon changed her mind. So, he was happy to wait quietly, and she would see him sooner or later. He was right. She noticed him, and he saw the tears in her eyes of relief when Dylan waved at him vigorously. He didn't wave at her, he saw her look slightly hesitant, but after a while, she still left the track and walked towards him.She moved clumsily, stuck herself on the wire fence, and fell through the soggy weeds. When Dylan got close enough to see the expression on his face, he turned his face away and listened to her getting closer.

We finally met. Dylan finally made it to the hillside where he was sitting and could get a good look at him. Her guess about his age was exactly right. In this case, he is at most one year older than her.He was wearing jeans, running shoes, and a warm-looking navy blue jumper with "Broncos" emblazoned in orange cursive.Although he was sitting there with his legs curled up, his figure was hard to guess, but he didn't look like a short and weak person. He was dark-skinned and had a row of freckles on his nose.As soon as Dylan got closer to him, his face took on an impassive, unconcerned expression, and his eyes began to move to the far moors.

Even when Dylan stood directly in front of him, his face didn't change, his eyes didn't change. This is really frustrating.Dylan stood there bewildered, not knowing what to say. "Hi! My name is Dylan." She finally opened her mouth in a stuttering voice, her eyes fixed on the ground. She waited for his response, shifting her weight between her feet, and finally she simply looked in the direction of his gaze, trying to figure out what he was looking at. "Tristan," he finally said.He glanced at her, then looked away. He finally had a reaction, which made Dylan heave a sigh of relief, and quickly said, "I guess you are on the train too. Fortunately, I am not alone here. I must have passed out in the carriage. When I wake up, I will be the only one left." She spoke quickly when she said this, for fear of being coldly received again, "The other passengers have already escaped, and obviously no one noticed me. There was a stupid woman in the car with a lot of bags and bags and I got stuck with her things. When I got out of the car, I didn't know where the others went, but we must have made a mistake Direction out of the tunnel. I bet firefighters, police, and others are on the other side of the tunnel right now."

"Train?" He turned toward her, and only then did she see his eyes clearly for the first time, ice blue eyes cold, cobalt blue. She felt that if these eyes were angry, it would freeze her blood, but at the moment, these eyes only showed curiosity. He sized her up for half a second, then glanced at the tunnel entrance, "Yes, that train." She looked at him expectantly, but he didn't seem to want to say another word. Dylan bit his lip, cursing himself for his bad luck, meeting only one person here, who turned out to be a teenager. If he was an adult, he would know what to do.And, as much as she didn't want to admit it, boys like that always made her nervous. They seem cool and confident. When she met them, she was always tongue-tied and felt like a complete idiot.

"How about we go back through the tunnel again?" she suggested.Even though her suggestion means going through that train again, it doesn't seem like such a bad idea to go with someone. Then they'll be able to meet other passengers and emergency responders, and maybe they'll be able to salvage the original promise to meet dad this weekend. The boy stared back at her, and she volunteered to back away again, which was absolutely impossible. There was a magnet-like attraction in his eyes, and he seemed to be able to see through her right away.Dylan felt himself naked under his gaze. She subconsciously crossed her arms to protect her chest.

"No, we can't go back." His voice was emotionless, as if he didn't care about the predicament in front of him, as if he could sit quietly and happily on this hillside for a lifetime.Well, Dylan thought, I can't do that. After staring at her for a long time, he looked back at the mountains again.Dylan bit his lower lip, searching for something else to say. "Well, you have a cell phone, so we can call the police or something, right? My cell phone died when the accident happened. I'm going to call my mom, and if she hears it happened What, it's going to go crazy. She's so protective, she wants to know if I'm alright so she can start babbling 'I told you so'..." Dylan's voice trails off , and finally stopped himself.

This time he didn't even look at her and said, "I can't get through here." "Oh." Dylan began to feel annoyed that they were stuck here, at the wrong exit of the tunnel. There were no adults, no way to contact anyone else, and the boy couldn't help at all. But, after all, he is the only one here. "Okay, so what do we do?" Instead of answering, he stood up suddenly. He stood upright, taller than her by a large margin, much taller than she had just visually estimated. He looked down at her, a half-gloating expression on his lips, and started walking forward.

Dylan opened his mouth a few times, but couldn't make a sound. She froze there, motionless and silent, completely stunned and frightened by this strange boy.Was he going to leave her here alone? She quickly had an answer. He walked ten meters away, stopped again, and looked back at her. "Are you going?" "Where are you going?" Dylan asked, not wanting to leave the scene of the accident.Surely staying where you are is not the wisest choice? If they go far, how can others find them?Besides, how did he know where to go?It was very late now, and it was going to be dark soon.It was windy and bitterly cold. She didn't want to get lost, so she planned to just make do in the wild - at night. His confidence made Dylan question his own judgment. He seemed to see the hesitation on her face, and gave her a condescending look, his voice full of superiority: "Well, I won't just sit here and wait. If you want, you can stay here by yourself." He secretly observed to see Dylan's reaction after he understood what he said. Dylan's eyes widened in fear at the thought of waiting here alone. What if night falls and no one comes? "I think we should both stay here." As soon as she opened her mouth, he was already shaking his head.As if it was inconvenient to speak, he took a few steps back and looked at her intently. The two of them were so close that she could feel the boy's breath on her face.Dylan looked him straight in the eyes, and everything around him slowly blurred. There is a magic in his eyes that people have to look at, even if Dylan wants to look away, it is impossible.Needless to say, Dylan was hypnotized by him. "Follow me." He said in the tone of a commander, and there was no room for negotiation in his tone.It was an order, and he expected her to obey. Strangely, her mind went blank.Dylan didn't even think about disobeying his orders, she nodded blankly, and staggered along after him. The boy, Tristan, was striding up the hill before she could even catch up, getting further and further away from the tunnel. He secretly marveled at her stubbornness. There was an inner strength in this person. However, no matter what, she would go with him.
