"Let's celebrate," Beth said.
"You'd hate me if I said I had a few other appointments I must go to."
"I don't mean to celebrate right away." Beth nudged him. "I may take up all of your time, but I have to admit that sometimes you have to run to survive. I mean tonight. I'm tired of eating non-fat white meat all day long. Let's just do it once , Grill two juicy bone-in steaks, and I'll bake some potato chips and mix with a salad."
"That's how you want to celebrate—don't want to go out?"
"Hi! This is my first night in Santa Fe as a property owner. I want to stay home and enjoy all the things I've bought."
"I'll bring red wine."
"And champagne," added Beth, "and it seems to me that I should pop open the champagne at the front door, like a ship cuts its cable into the water."
"A bottle of Dom Pelyyan, good enough, isn't it?"
