Chapter 31 Humanity is about to reach maturity

When watching movies when I was a child, I always wanted to distinguish which characters in the movie were good guys and which ones were bad guys, but there are always some hidden bad guys in the plot design of the movie, which will not be exposed until the end of the movie.This made us very anxious while watching, and often asked adults whether this person is a good person or a bad person.As I grow older, I realize that the world is not black and white, good or bad. The second stage enters the typical dualistic stage - either good or bad.If it's not heaven, it's hell; if it's not a friend, it's an enemy; if it's not an anti-terrorist country, it's a terrorist country; in Zoroastrianism they are called "God of Light" Ahura and "God of Darkness" Angra.This is an immature psychological characteristic, and personal growth often shows this immaturity in childhood.

The third stage of human society is the mature stage in the great human cycle, and unity, cooperation, and solidarity are the main signs of the mature stage. "One World, One Family", "One World, One Dream" are the main themes of human maturity.Habits of mind, values ​​and outdated superstitions that are stuck in the second stage will slow down and hinder our human maturity. The characteristics of human maturity have also been described in detail in Baha'u'llah's writings. Referring to the current situation, global integration is the mainstream.Global integration is the positive driving force for human society to mature, while the trade protectionism and mutual sanctions of various countries are the forces that hinder the maturity.

The family of mankind and mutual love are the forces that promote the progress of this mature period, while extreme nationalism is the force that hinders the reactionary force of this mature period.No matter how many difficulties people encounter in the process of entering maturity, the general trend of human beings entering maturity cannot be stopped, just like children will grow up slowly.
