Chapter 52 I am a person who can afford to let go

Worrying is a habit, but I broke it a long time ago.The reason why I can eliminate all kinds of troubles is due to the following three things. One, I was too busy to wallow in those self-destructive anxieties.I have three main jobs, each full-time.I teach at Columbia University, chair the New York City Council on Higher Education, and chair the economics and social division of Harper's Publishing Company.Three main tasks take up my time and give me no chance to worry. Second, I am a person who can afford to let things go.When I leave one job to work on another, I can let go of all the problems I think about.I've found that constant alignment at work can be exhilarating and refreshing.

Third, I constantly train myself to get all my worries out of my mind after I leave my desk. Many problems are in a row, and if I bring them home every night and agonize over them, my health will be ruined and I will lose the ability to solve them. These are the three good work habits of Ole Cheng Tidd, please remember.
