Chapter 39 postscript

end of empire 易中天 341Words 2018-03-16
After writing the last word, I realized that the book has six chapters, each chapter has six sections, six six thirty-six, which happens to be Qin Shihuang's favorite number. That's okay, then use this number to commemorate this "one emperor through the ages" and the imperial system created by him and buried by us! It is for remembering. Yi Zhongtian November 18, 2003 This book was completed at the end of 2003, and in August 2005, the overseas edition was launched by Joint Publishing in Hong Kong. This time the mainland edition was released, and a comprehensive revision was made. There are three reasons for the revision: 1. After four years, the ideas have become more mature; 2. Some texts still need to be understood; 3. Some errors and omissions should be corrected. Therefore, this version is both the mainland version and the new version. Its publication and distribution is due to the great efforts of President He Shengsui of Fudan University Press, editor-in-chief Gao Ruohai, careful editing by Mr. Song Wentao, and especially the love, correctness and absurdity of Mr. Fan Shuzhi, a master of history.Of course, I should be most grateful to the readers of this book.As for any inappropriateness, I am naturally responsible for my own work, but please criticize and correct me!

Remember again. Yi Zhongtian October 7, 2007
