Chapter 40 4. Navigator

There are three navigators: intuition, logic, and evidence. Intuition is needed to tell us what's wrong, what's wrong, or something to look into. This ability comes from talent, but also from experience. For example, my experience proves that the more people make promises, the more problems there will be.Where historians agree, there are often misunderstandings. The history shaped by the official ideology and the collective unconsciousness of the people may not be what it really is.The face behind it may be more real. It is better to have no books than to believe in books, and no knowledge without doubts.

Doubt, criticism, analysis, and empirical evidence add up to the scientific spirit. With this spirit, you will not be dead reading, and you will have intuition. Therefore, after I read Mr. Zhao Guohua's "On the Culture of Reproductive Worship" in 1988, I concluded that Nuwa could never be a "snake sister", but could only be a "frog goddess".Gun should be Yu's "mother", not "father".In other words, this ethnic group has gone through three stages: matrilineal clan, patrilineal clan and tribe.Gun is the title of the ethnic group in the matrilineal clan period. It may have continued into the tribal period, but would eventually be replaced by Yu, representing the paternal line.

This can be proved by logical reasoning, which determines the order in which all cultural phenomena and cultural patterns occur. In fact, in primitive times, people only knew their mothers and did not know who their fathers were. The earliest gods of all nations in the world are also goddesses. After all, all men are born of women. Therefore, the worship of male reproduction must come after the worship of women, and then there may be totem worship and ancestor worship. That being the case, how could Nuwa be a snake like Fuxi?Gun who worships fish, and Yu who worships snakes, how could they be father and son?

Logic is more important than knowledge and experience, and it is more reliable than academic authority.Because logic is a public tool, it will not bow to power, accommodate the common people, cater to the academic world, or curry favor with the media. If intuition is consistent with logic, the conclusions will not be too far-fetched. All that is needed is evidence.
