2007 is the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base and the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.On the occasion of this grand ceremony, a book has been revised and republished! This book was written and published 10 years ago to commemorate the establishment of the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. 10 years have passed, in the blink of an eye.In the past 10 years, the situation at home and abroad has changed tremendously, and the research atmosphere in the historical circle is unprecedentedly active. In the past 10 years, in the research field of the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base Area, some new historical materials have also been discovered, many new understandings have been produced, and a number of new achievements have emerged.As an academic monograph, this book is revised and republished. Naturally, it cannot "remain the same", but must absorb new academic achievements and incorporate new academic consensus, in order to achieve a more scientific and dignified academic realm.

Major aspects of the book revision: One is the adjustment of the style.This time, the general principles of the official history of the chronological style are adopted, the chapters are established, the structure is adjusted, the structure is criss-crossed, and the history theory is combined to make it more standardized; The second is the deletion of the outline.In this revision, simplification is made by deleting the complex, highlighting the key points, retaining the main body, cutting off the details, and making it more concentrated; The third is to update the content.In the revision, new historical materials discovered in recent years (such as Yuan Wencai's letter to Mao Zedong, letter to Peng Dehuai from 16 Communist Party members in Ninggang County when Yuan and Wang were wrongly killed, etc.) Talk about the spirit of Jinggangshan and its connotation, research and analysis of the Second to Fifth National Congresses of the Fourth Red Army, textual research on the Jinggangshan reunion, disputes at the "Seventh National Congress", social changes during the Jinggangshan period, etc.), to make it more complete;

The overall goal orientation of the revision of this book is to make a "credible history".What is "History of Faith"?According to my understanding, the basic requirements of "belief in history" must be: seeking truth from facts, writing straight and straight, trustworthy and conscientious, and history will last for a long time.The general elements should be: accurate and reliable historical facts, objective and fair comments, realistic opinions, and evidence-based textual research; not only books, not only the best, not overly beautiful, not overstated; respect historical facts, be loyal to the truth, and be original and authentic.Only in this way can it be called "original ecology and originality" research, and can it stand the test of history and the people.Of course, this is only the original intention of the author, and I hope that Fang's family and readers will know whether it can meet the standard.
