After I returned to the Jingxi Hotel on Monday, 18th, the first thing I did was to study the list of participants and attendees of the Third Plenary Session. From this list, we know that among the 333 Central Committee members and alternate Central Committee members elected at the 11th National Congress, six of them have passed away. They are Guo Moruo, Luo Ruiqing, Peng Shaohui, Wang Zheng, Lin Liming, and Xie Zhengrong.I am familiar with the first four, but not the last two. Among the remaining 327 people, 25 people were not notified to attend the meeting due to various reasons.The 25 people are: Wang Guofan from Hebei, Yu Hongliang from Heilongjiang, Jiang Liyin from Fujian, Geng Qichang, Du Xueran, and Du Xin from Henan, Wu Guixian from Shaanxi, Wei Fengying from Liaoning, Feng Zhanwu from Jilin, Qilin Wangdan from Yunnan, and Jia from Xinjiang. There are 21 people on this list who asked for leave due to work or illness.The 169 members of the Central Committee who actually attended the Third Plenary Session accounted for 84% of the 201 members of the Central Committee, greatly exceeding the quorum.The purpose of holding the Third Plenary Session is to carry out legal procedures for the matters prepared by the Central Work Conference, so this list is very important, and the list prepared by the meeting is much stricter than that of the Central Work Conference. This list lists 9 people who attended the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee.They are Song Renqiong, Huang Kecheng, Huang Huoqing, Hu Qiaomu, Han Guang, Zhou Hui, Wang Renzhong, and Xi Zhongxun, all of whom proposed to be added to the Central Committee at the Central Working Conference.And once the plenary session approves the addition of them to become Central Committee members, they will become attendees with both the right to speak and the right to vote.

Zeng Tao, Hu Jiwei, Yang Xiguang and I, and maybe a few others, are not members of the Central Committee, but due to possible work needs, they did not leave the Jingxi Hotel after the Central Working Conference was over. The convener of each group remained the same, and the original Central Committee members in the group remained the same. The number of people in each group was only slightly larger than before. , The Northwest Group increased from the original 35 to 44 people, plus Song Renqiong and Wang Renzhong, two official attendees, a total of 46 people.
