I stand before you today as the representative of a grieving family -- before a shocked world in a country in mourning. We are all connected not just because we desire to honor Diana, but because we need to, because her special attraction is so strong that there are tens of millions of people around the world who have never seen her , all attended the funeral today on television and radio, and they all felt the loss of a dear one in the early hours of Sunday morning. That fact alone is a great honor for Diana, far stronger and deeper than the eulogy I wish to express today. The essence of Diana is compassion, responsibility, grace and beauty. All over the world she is a symbol of selfless humanity, a standard-bearer for the rights of the truly downtrodden and outcasts, a British girl who transcends borders, and a person of no class with a natural nobility. In her final year she showed that she didn't need a royal title to continue to exert her unique magical powers.

Today is an opportunity for us to say thank you for your example that lights up our lives, although God only gave you half of it.We often feel cheated, that you were taken away for being so young. However, we must know how to be grateful, you still came. Today, it is only when you are gone that we really understand what we have lost.We want you to know how hard it is to live without you.Our family has been through the despair of losing a loved one for a week, and only the memories of your years of generosity give us the strength to go on.There's a fad right now where people fight over your memory, or deify it.You don't have to do that, you already stand tall as a human being of exceptional quality, you don't need to be considered a saint.Indeed, to sanctify your memory is to ignore the very core of your being—your wonderful, mischievous, uncontrollable wit.No matter when, your frown and smile, the flickering of your unforgettable eyes, always pass on the joy of life to others.Your inexhaustible energy seems to be more than your body can hold. But your greatest gift is your natural love, which you use so wisely and so well in your dealings with people. All your other good qualities are derived from this nature. If we try to analyze why you have such a great attraction, the answer we find is that the attraction is that you have compassion for what is really important in all of our lives. If it were not for your gifted sensitivity and concern, today we would all be concerned about the suffering of AIDS patients and people with similar diseases (human immunodeficiency), the plight of the homeless, and the casualty of people killed by landmines. Unfortunately, much more indifferent.Diana once explained to me that the pain in her heart made it possible for her to associate with those who were rejected by society.

Here we can see another fact about her, no matter how prominent social status, how glorious, how people praise, Diana is always a hurt and insecure person at heart, she tries to do to others like a child. Something nice to relieve her inner pain of being belittled, belittled, and her eating disorder was a symptom of this depressed mood. The whole world felt a part of her character.People not only remember her simplicity and sincerity, but also her side that was demoted and frustrated. The last time I saw her was July 1 this year, her birthday, in London. It was a typical day, she didn't have time to celebrate her birthday with her friends, but she was the guest of honor at a charity gala, and of course she was shining brightly that day.But I prefer to think back to the days when we got along in March this year.At that time she came to my house in South Africa to visit me and my children.I am proud that we managed not to have a photo taken by those endlessly pestering reporters, except that she met President Mandela in public. She is comfortable with it.

I cherished my childhood with her, and we lived together for many years. She and I are the youngest two children in the family. She was basically the same Diana I had in mind as a child, unchanged. She is gentle and demure, with a firm and powerful heart. After childhood, she remained whole and true to herself, even in complex and strange circumstances. In recent years, she is looking for a new life direction. She talks about leaving the UK from time to time, mainly because she can't stand the siege of the newspapers. I think she never understood why her sincerity and kindness were distorted and ridiculed by the media, and why there was always a force representing the media around who would always pull her down.My own only explanation is that true goodness and beauty are a threat to those on the other side of the moral high ground. But of all the ironies about Diana, perhaps the greatest irony is this: a girl whose parents named her the ancient goddess of the hunt (Diana) ended up being one of the most besieged figures in modern society. She will ask us to swear today to protect her beloved children, William and Henry, from a similar fate.I swear to do it here.Diana, I represent you.We will never again subject them to the kind of plight that habitually drives you to tears of despair. Also, on behalf of your mother and two older sisters, I swear that we, your kin, will do everything in our power to continue your creative and loving path of guiding these remarkable children so that their hearts not only Only bound by the traditions of duty, but free to sing as you wish.

We fully respect the traditions into which they were born, and we often respect and encourage their royal duties, but we, like you, recognize that they need to practice on as many different levels of life as possible to equip them spiritually, able to face future challenges.I know you must have us do this.William and Henry, our family loves you so much today, we are all devastated by the loss of a loved one, and we can only imagine the trauma you endured. In closing, I would like to thank God for giving us so much comfort in this terrible time of grief.Thank God for taking Diana away in her most beautiful and radiant moments, in the happiest moments of her private life.

In conclusion, we are grateful for the life of one lady. She, I'm so proud, I can call her sister -- this most excellent, intricate, special, irreplaceable Diana. Her beauty, both inside and outside, will never fade in our hearts.
