I have been pondering how to write this foreword since Audrey Katharine Hepburn-Ruston left us, nearly nine years now.She is my mother, the person I love most in this world. I started thinking about writing this book on January 21, 1993, the day after she died.However, it took about 4 years before I wrote my first words on paper. Everything is difficult at the beginning. When I started writing, the actual writing took about a few months. Writing a book is always like this, and most of the time is spent on the preparation work in the early stage.No matter sooner or later, everyone will lose his parents one day. Now I can be sure that everyone will have a lot of feelings and memories in such a mood, and they can write a touching book.For me, this is probably the only book I've ever written in my life.With the passage of time, I recorded those bits and pieces in my life, and those memories from the past flooded into my mind again.
