Xiuyuan said: "Thinking about the past and present, there are no blunt and obstinate eminent monks, students who have not reached the top level, and have not studied much, how dare they delve into the subtleties of the best, this is one of them."How can there be unfilial Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the world, students and parents are in the hall, there is no brother to persuade them, and no brother to support them, how dare they cut their hair and wear black, abandon their parents and run away from Zen, this is the second.The third is particularly important, because the lamps and lanterns are continuous, there must be true teachings. Students see that although there are many jungles in front of them, there are no eminent monks who can touch the top. See, how dare a student lose his life to the blind? The elder laughed loudly and said, "If you talk about other things, the poor monk may not know, but if you talk about these three things, the son is all done, so why worry about it?"The young master is concerned about his youth and ignorance, regardless of his past and past wisdom, he should be extraordinary, that is, the second language he continued yesterday has already revealed a spot, how can he be a blunt and stubborn person!If it is said that becoming a monk loses filial piety, the ancients were born to serve the emperor, and loyalty and filial piety cannot be both. What's more, after becoming a monk and becoming a Buddha and ancestor, parents will enjoy the joy of nine days in life and death.As for learning from a teacher, it is as good as the inheritance of the fifth and sixth patriarchs. If there is no inheritance after the sixth patriarch, will the lamp of wisdom be extinct?The poor monk has been a monk for a long time, has been a Buddhist for many years, and knows a thing or two about Zen, so why can't he be your teacher and worry about not being passed on? He flicked his sleeves and walked in.The elder was so ashamed that he was so anxious that he had nowhere to go, Zan Shan tried again and again, and had no choice but to go up to accompany the sinner and said: "The child is young, arrogant and abrupt, I hope the teacher will forgive me." 'The elder resigned and returned to the temple because he sat for a long time because of his lack of interest and shame. After returning home, he was sick for three days and couldn't get up. All the disciples were in panic and helpless. Elder Daojing from Guanyin Temple had heard about it and came to inquire.Daoqing ordered Xingtong to invite him to meet him. I saw Elder Daoqing say a few words to Elder Daojing, saying: "The birth of Gaocai shocked the eminent monks and ancient Buddhas; only when the chance is touched, can we know the spiritual root of destiny."
