He took care of me and gave me a little literati taste, and gave me a rough-edged book.Then it just came out.I asked Ying Hong, why is it so urgent to publish a book for Mr. Huang?

What do you like about Mr. Huang?The answer: The first is seriousness. Xu was trained as a woodcarver in the past. The old man does everything like a woodcarver, and he carves every knife very carefully.The second is hard work. At such an old age, I paint every morning when I get up together, and I am meticulous.The third is his words, everyone knows his paintings but not his words.Mr. Huang's writing, I have read the "Six Chapters of Yongyu" published by the Sanlian, three ink and three books of line drawing, each painting and text are full of laissez-faire in "you can find them everywhere, don't take neighbors". It is bold and presumptuous, and there is always a feeling of "the misty waterside, red apricots in the forest".Followed by "From the Seine to Emerald", I like that he compares his appearance with the scene, he likes the way he is angry or showing his teeth and claws, he is gentle and doesn't need to be taken seriously by others.Most of the texts in these books are illustrations, full of wisdom and playfulness. I know that "everything is silent, subtlety is subtle" is very human can achieve, but I didn't expect what it would be like to write a lengthy article.I also heard in advance that he said that in life, literature ranks first, sculpture second, woodcut third, and painting fourth. Painting ranks last because it can support the first three.

So I dedicated half a day to read it.Reading the first Qian Zhongshu, I was amazed that a person with high self-esteem would have such sincere admiration for another person who has more knowledge than him.Zhang Leping, the second article, read a deeper feeling: the decades between one person and another are always so beautiful, so interesting, who can always see a scene bathed in sunshine for decades?In the third chapter, Li Keran wrote the entire Dayabao Hutong, but he was completely fascinated by the collective described in it—from old to young, all immersed in warmth.From this, I understood Mr. Huang's "returning to the emptiness and entering the chaos, accumulating strength and becoming a hero" today.His writing is neither gorgeous, nor strange, nor sophisticated, nor profound.It was a natural narrative wrapped in warmth and truth.The decades of each old man seem to have been surrounded by such a quiet sunshine, even the harshest days are completely illuminated by this sunshine.After I finished reading this book, I told Ying Hong that the deepest feeling is that when Mr. Huang looks at any person, he only sees the good. He is always in a low place, and there is no shadow in the middle.The longest part of this book is about his cousin Shen Congwen, but for some reason it is not as touching as Dayabao Hutong, Zhang Leping, Xu Linlu, etc.Maybe it's because of being too close and being overshadowed by his cousin.

I don't know Mr. Huang so far, but I have been invited to meet the old man. He said that Mr. Fu sprinkled water and ink first, and after it dries, he rolled it up and kneaded it into a ball; Look for distances, water streams, and waterfalls; then pick out the empty things and add small trees, smaller houses and people.After studying Western modern abstract paintings, he compared abstract paintings to "drumming ideas with various colors added".He said that Gauguin's color theory went ahead of color film, blue color and yellow color combined are green, if the blue dots and yellow dots are separated, the green color will move and jump up when viewed from a distance.Cézanne's body is piled up piece by piece, and the sense of volume is enhanced by piece by piece of color.After such a clever insight, Mr. Huang said that what he expressed was form, tone, texture, void and reality, deep relationship and their movement.He said that what he expresses is the tone, and the tone is the depth, the color of each block, the subtle tone of different shades, this is a painting.He said that he expresses texture, thick and thin, and this is another painting.This mishmash of East and West gave him the liberty of wantonness.Mr. Huang is getting old, what I admire is that his vigor and momentum are still there.After so many years of vicissitudes, a person's wildness and edges and corners seem to have never been worn out, and the splash of ink is so smooth that it can still make a wall of smoke and wind force you to come, and a few strokes can "beyond the image, and be able to circle the circle" .And it's completely true, without any deliberate compromising.

Mr. Huang summed up the realm he pursued in painting as "clean, ugly and stubborn".I like his works because in these four characters, I understand that "stubborn" is the focus.I often hear people who know Mr. Huang say that he is "fun". No matter what he does, he has a naughty mentality and a plaything method.Playing in it, all kinds of miscellaneous things are all pursuits, without any burden; without any burden, age is like the echo of the empty mountain, leaving no traces on the body, and the old is still fresh and lively.Mr. Huang said that he has given lectures on music, boxing, and wrestling for decades, as well as on geology, forestry, and entomology.
