The first series of my autobiography Chapter 12 My Self-study History: Entering the Society for the First Time 10. Entering the society for the first time Conventionally speaking, a youth should go from "studying" to "employment"; but in recent decades, Chinese youths have often turned from "studying" to "revolution".I am also one of them. After I left school, I took the first step to step into the wider society. I did not settle for a certain occupation but participated in the revolution.Looking back now, this is unavoidably too dangerous a thing! Because young people are immature elements of society, the reason why they want to learn is to learn how to participate in society, become a member of society, and succeed mature elements.Unexpectedly, he learned to revolutionize.A revolution is a transformation of society.Let me ask you, if you don't have enough ability to participate in it, how can you have the ability to transform it?He lacks social experience at this time, and has only false views (acquired from books) and assumptions about society, and has no understanding of society. How can we talk about how to reform if we don't know enough? This is obviously impossible!Helplessly, the Chinese revolution is not a spontaneous revolution within society, and lacks the revolutionary force bred by history from the third or fourth class in the West. The Chinese revolution was only the first to feel the world trend of the new school's struggle against the old school. It all relied on the world trend of thought spread from overseas and along the coast to arouse some passionate young people, so it was naturally a student revolution.Childishness, mistakes, and failures are all natural and inevitable, and there is nothing you can do about it. As far as I am concerned, I was only eighteen years old at that time, and my own insights and actions are very naive in retrospect today.I have seen many people and many things with my own eyes, and it seems that they can't help but take the world's major events as a trifling matter. However, young people are relatively naive in their actions and their motives are relatively pure, which is beyond the reach of people in the next twenty or thirty years. ——This is a later impression, and the facts are not stated. The emperor of the Qing Dynasty will soon abdicate, and things like assassinations and riots will come to an end. Most of the colleagues and others run newspapers in Tianjin to publicize revolutionary propaganda. The one run by the gentlemen of Zhao Tieqiao is called "Minyi Bao", and the newspaper run by our group of friends headed by Zhen Liangfu is called "Republic of China".At that time, the funds were sufficient, and three sheets were published every day, which was the first of its kind in the north. The editor-in-chief was brother Sun Bingwen Junming (from Shufu, Sichuan, who was killed in Shanghai by the Kuomintang in the 16th year of the Republic of China under the pretext of purging the party); I also acted as an editor, and also worked as a field reporter. The word "Shuming" used today is a pen name at that time, and it was drafted by Mr. Sun.  Journalists seem to be a profession in society. But its task is to guide the society, and it is not a young student who has just entered the society.Thinking about it now, I still feel wrong. This may be the result of my deduction since I was young! The newspaper office was originally located in Tianjin, and later moved to Beijing (to the west of Shunzhimenwai Street). In the spring of the second year of the Republic of China, the China League was reorganized into the Chinese Kuomintang and the Republic of China Daily was accepted as the official newspaper of the party headquarters, with Tang Yi in charge, and some of our friends left. I have lived as a journalist for more than a year, and even counting my participation in revolutionary work, it is less than two years old.During this period, I read less and did more activities, and the knowledge in books did not improve. However, due to frequent contact with society, I gradually realized that the facts were not as ideal. For "revolution", "politics", "great men"...all have a feeling of "just so".Some obscene behaviors, vulgar psychology, and sharp, vicious, and violent things were not encountered at home or school before, but now I saw them; they made me feel tired and disgusted with life.  During this period, those who had the most contacts were of course political.Previously, when I was studying in middle school, I dreamed of parliamentary politics. Whenever the Zizhengyuan held a meeting (the meeting was held twice in the second and third years of Xuantong), I would ask for introductions to attend. Now a journalist, holding a long-term witness pass, all the two chambers of the Republic of China's provisional Senate and the Second Congress of the Republic of China are in and out of it almost every day.In addition, the headquarters of the Tongmenghui, the headquarters of the reorganized Kuomintang, and the State Council are also places where I have been most closely tracked. There is also the Republican Building Conference (predecessor of the Democratic Party) and the Democratic Party (predecessor of the Progressive Party), which I often go to.At that time, the separation and separation of parties in the parliament, the reorganization of the State Council, and many manipulations by Yuan Shikai were all reflected in my eyes and understood in my heart. Many political figures, he is not familiar with me, but I am familiar with him. These practical knowledge and experiences have helped me to understand many Chinese issues.
