Chapter 90 secret apprenticeship

After Fu Qingzhu returned to his hometown, he continued his rural life. Writing and seeing a doctor were the two main things in his life. Sometimes, some officials wanted to see him, but Fu Qingzhu's principle was that if you came to see a doctor , then there is no problem, if it is not a doctor, then I'm sorry, I won't see you (if you have a doctor's opinion, you will see it, otherwise you won't see me). Some people even called him "Secretary of the Cabinet", but Fu Qingzhu ignored him as if he hadn't heard it. If he was called Fu Qingzhu, he would only pay attention to others.

In such busy days, Fu Qingzhu was getting older and older. At this moment, he began to think about a problem, that is, how to pass on medical skills. After thinking for a long time, he finally decided to adopt a secret method to pass on medical skills to future generations. There is a mystery here, which is puzzling, that is, Fu Qingzhu has written a lot in his life, why he only wants to pass on medical skills in a secret way? After reading a lot of Fu Qingzhu's remarks, I finally understood the reason, because Fu Qingzhu didn't care much about the poems, school notes and other things he wrote himself. Although he told his grandchildren to organize them in the end, That is to say, as documents, in normal times, he often writes and throws them away, which makes his friends very anxious, and they often follow him to pick them up (they are all treasures). He still thinks some materials are immature, so he is not in a hurry Take it out.As for medical books, he felt that they had to be passed on, so he decided to spread them in a special way alone.

Facts have proved that he is very far-sighted. Now, his other books are basically lost, and only medical books have been handed down in a special way. What kind of special way is this? One day, he called a friend (it is impossible to test who this person is, but I think he should be a member of Taoism, because he was named Lu Daoren in the fourth preface of "The Secret Record of the Stone Chamber"), and explained to the friend After clarifying his own intentions, he asked his friends to go to the Beijing area to find suitable candidates. So, this friend packed his bags and set off, and the person who was found to inherit the knowledge was Chen Shiduo.

We mentioned this Chen Shiduo at the beginning of this article. He is from Shaoxing, Zhejiang, and he is a student who likes Taoism. So, how about the details of finding someone?Of course, there is no record in any documents, so let us look for clues of this incident from Chen Shiduo's medical books. The earliest medical book written by Chen Shiduo is "The Secret Record of the Stone Chamber". Okay, let's look for clues from the preface of this book. The second preface of "The Secret Record of the Stone Chamber" was written by Qi Bo Tianshi (of course, under the name), and the time is the day before the winter solstice of the Kangxi Dingmao year. Scholars have always used this time to study the date of meeting between Chen Shiduo and Fu Qingzhu. It’s not true, because Fu Qingzhu had passed away in Ding Maonian (1687), so scholars took this as a suspense. If you do this, it will be too rigid. You have to praise Fu Qingzhu according to his character. What kind of character is Fu Qingzhu? ?All his life, he abused the Qing government in a roundabout way, often with several lines in a poem, so we should analyze it according to this line of thinking.

What is Ding in the year of Dingmao with the five elements in the heavenly stem?It belongs to fire, what does it belong to if Mao is in the earthly branch and the five elements? It belongs to wood, so what should Dingmao be according to the year of Jiazi Nanayin? It is fire in the furnace. The reason why he wrote such a year is because the Qing Dynasty belongs to water, while the Ming Dynasty belongs to fire.So why set the date on the day before the winter solstice? How could it be such a coincidence, it happened to be the day before the winter solstice, that is because traditional Chinese medicine believes that on the day of the winter solstice, the yin qi begins to descend, and when the yang begins to grow, the yang qi will grow. It's not here yet, but it's coming soon!Let’s look at the inscription time of the third Zhang Zhongjing (also by name) in the preface: ten days after the winter solstice, it means that the light has arrived.

Even the date of inscription must destroy the Qing Dynasty. This is Fu Qingzhu's character. The fourth preface of this book was written by the name of Lu Dongbin. This is the fellow Taoist Fu Qingzhu. From this preface, we can roughly see the scene at that time. At that time, Chen Shiduo was wandering around Beijing by himself, probably looking for some teachers or something while rushing for the exam. Coincidentally, he met Fu Qingzhu’s fellow Taoist, and the two chatted. I was annotating the "Huangdi Neijing", this fellow Taoist saw that Chen Shiduo was honest and reliable, so he revealed to him that now there is an expert who wants to choose an apprentice who will inherit knowledge, do you have any ideas? (Chen Zi annotated "Su Wen" and "Nei Jing" today, and Yu sighed that he had not caught his ambition, so he moved it with the technique of Huayuan Huaqing sac)

Upon hearing this, Chen Shiduo quickly asked, "Which expert is it?" Fellow Taoist: "Fu Qingzhu." Chen Shiduo was taken aback, and then said sadly: "How can I see his old man?" (Chen Ziyouzhi) Fellow Taoist: "Don't worry, I will arrange this matter!" After hearing this, Chen Shiduo was overjoyed and got up to pay respects. (Chen Zi pays homage to be taught again) Then the preface said that this Taoist friend arranged for Qi Bo Tianshi (Fu Qingzhu) and Zhang Zhongjing (presumably Fu Mei) to come to Beijing's Hebei area (Yan City), and it is estimated that this is the beginning of the ecstasy formation again.

At Fu Qingzhu's age, it is impossible to come to Beijing as soon as he says he comes to Beijing. The number of times he has come to Beijing in his life is limited. And Tianshi Qibo (Fu Qingzhu) said in the second part of the preface: "(Chen Shiduo) passed me to the west of the Yuhe River." That is to say, it was Chen Shiduo who came to visit. It is estimated that this description is more realistic. So, where is Yuhe? The general explanation is Yinhe. Does the preface mean that Chen Shiduo went to heaven to ask questions? In fact, Yuhe River is located in Taiyuan, and there is still the remains of Yuhe River in Taiyuan City. This river was once renamed Yuhe River, and it may still be called Yuhe River now.

Now, let us reproduce the scene of that year based on these clues. Chen Shiduo followed this fellow Taoist to Shanxi, and he proposed to visit Fu Qingzhu, but this fellow Taoist told him, no, that would let more people know, and I will arrange for Fu Qingzhu to come to you. So, one day, Chen Shiduo was sitting in the room when he suddenly heard a knock on the door. When he opened the door and saw Fu Qingzhu and Fu Mei standing at the door, he was stunned for a moment, not knowing what to say. Later, in the preface of the book "Zhengzhenglu", he recalled the scene of meeting the teacher for the first time with an affectionate pen kiss: "That day, "the yellow chrysanthemum first bloomed, and I cherished people far away. Suddenly I heard the sound of pecking, and opened the door When I saw the two old talents, they were very well-dressed, Yu Qizhi, Zaibai asked, "Where did you come from, do you have any strange news?" The two old men said..."

In this way, a pair of master and apprentice met in a strange way. There, Fu Qingzhu spent half a year teaching everything he had learned in his life to this student from the south. Time flies, and half a year passed in a blink of an eye. One day, Fu Qingzhu said to Chen Shiduo: "Shiduo, you and I, let's part now!" Chen Shiduo knelt down to the teacher gratefully and kowtowed. Fu Qingzhu: "In the future, don't mention that you are my apprentice. These books should be published in your name." Chen Shiduo hastily declined: "Teacher, that was your hard work, how dare I use my own name?"

Fu Qingzhu looked up, sighed and said: "I have been an enemy of the Qing court all my life, and I believe they will not let my book be passed on after my death, so I came to you in such a secret to teach you medical skills, This is to keep the root from falling." Chen Shiduo: "Teacher, you have worked so hard. I know my apprentice, but this is your painstaking effort. How can you not write your name?" Fu Qingzhu: "Medical books are used to save people. If I use my name, there is no way to pass it on. How can I save people? I hope you will publish it with your own name and let it pass on!" Chen Shiduo was very sad: "Teacher! I really want future generations to know that it was you who wrote the medical book!" Fu Qingzhu: "No need, don't mention it to anyone in the future, how about it, let's make up a story now, say that you met the celestial master Qibo in Beijing, and he taught you medical skills. Use this story to commemorate your life. Let's have a master-student relationship!" Chen Shiduo's tears finally flowed out: "Teacher..." His throat was choked up, he couldn't speak, he just kowtowed on the ground. So, there was the scene at the beginning of our article. In the days to come, Chen Shiduo really published Fu Qingzhu's medical books one by one, making them widely circulated. However, at the beginning of each book, he respectfully Write: This book was not written by me, it was written by my teacher Qibo Tianshi, I just "respect". People thought he was daydreaming, or pretending to be a fairy. In fact, what he always thought about was his teacher, Fu Qingzhu. Fu Qingzhu was far-sighted. Sure enough, after his death, he wrote books such as: "Zhouyi Yinshi", "Zhou Liyin Discrimination", "Thirteen Classics Commentary", "Thirteen Classics Character Area", "Zhuzi Commentary", "Spring and Autumn Personal Names" Books such as "Place Name Rhyme", "Seventeen History Commentary", "Sex History", "Du Poetry Review", "Continued Du Poems", "Hui Yun Xiao Commentary Supplement", "Yuan Shi Liang Zang Essence" and other books have all disappeared, and now only the posterity is left. It's just a set of "Shuanghong Niches Collection" compiled by others. However, his medical books were published in the name of Chen Shiduo, and all of them were preserved and passed on to future generations. How indifferent Fu Qingzhu is!He wrote about his experience that has been honed over time, but in order to pass it on to the world, he didn't even leave his own name. All he thought about was saving lives. In his eyes, fame is like a cloud of smoke. After passing on his knowledge to Chen Shiduo, Fu Qingzhu's heart was finally relieved, and he continued to live his life of writing and diagnosing patients. Quan Zuwang described his life as a doctor in "Mr. Yangqu Fu's Stories": "Avoid living in distant villages, and only live with medical skills. The households of people who seek prescriptions are always full, regardless of whether they are high or low, and they never look tired. ". In his spare time, he would sit with the surrounding farmers and talk about farm topics under the shade of trees.
