People say that it is best to pass on the cross talk from the family, and it will be passed down from father to generation. If you are born in such a family of cross talk, it may be easier to learn.First of all, there is that atmosphere in art, which your parents will tell you.Secondly, you still have a background and a backer, so that no one in the world would dare to bully you.I can't understand these two things at all. There is no one in my family who does this business. I can’t count the number of generations. They are all from decent backgrounds—of course, talking about cross talk is actually a very serious thing—no one does cross talk.My father is a policeman. In his mind, he actually didn't want me to do this, because many actors have criminal histories. When I was very young, my father personally selected and audited many famous comic artists. In his heart, cross talk is associated with crime, and he doesn't want me to do it.But it also happened that he was a policeman, so I had a lot of opportunities to get in touch with cross talk.Because my mother was in poor health, my father took me with him when he was doing errands. He was in charge of various theaters, and when he was doing work, he would tell me, "Don't move, stay here!" So at that time, I unknowingly came into contact with many entertainers, storytellers, opera singers, and all kinds of teachers. At that time, they didn't pay much attention to a child, and I just watched it there-until now, I think this kind of edification is very important to my acting career.Just imagine, if a certain kind of drum music is played on the street every day for three years from today, it is guaranteed that everyone can sing it.

That's how I was smoked. At that time, I hung out in the theater every day, listening to books, listening to drums, listening to various folk arts, and I fell in love with this industry without knowing it.When I'm free, I like to imitate, sing a song, and say a paragraph.I remember that there was a kind of opera comic strips at that time, which was the kind of comic books that were made after taking photos, especially those stage plays. The section "My son-in-law looks closely at it" was later bought a comic book. The picture on the top is a still photo of the Peking Opera "Qin Xianglian", and the bottom is a brief introduction to the story and the lyrics. I often hum along to the bottom of the lyrics.

Although my father didn't like this industry, he didn't stop me either. He is a man of great integrity and most of the time serious. To this day, I feel awkward talking to my father.Although there are often some unsatisfactory words about the police now, my father was a really good policeman back then. When I was young, he helped others with errands, and he was very well-behaved. Our family never took things from others. What impressed me deeply was that once someone asked my father to do something, and later sent a box of apples to my family as a thank you.My father was not at home at the time, and our family knew that it was a gift from someone else, so we didn't touch it.When my father came back, the apples were all rotten, so my father bought another good one, took the rotten one, and sent two copies back to others, telling them: You bought the rotten one. I bought it new, and I return it to you.He is such a seemingly unreasonable person.

The performances in clubs and cultural stations I saw at that time had a profound impact on me.There will be various performances such as singing opera, storytelling, drums, cross talk, etc. There are professional and amateur performances. I am deeply impressed. When I was very young, I could see special performances by famous cross talk actors such as Mr. Liu Wenheng who were professional at that time.I also watched Hebei Bangzi Opera Troupe, Peking Opera, and Pingju Opera. I watched a lot, so these things have a great influence on me. Later, I met a friend named Xiaowu, and along the way, I also met his father, Mr. Gao Xiangkai, a veteran of storytelling. After we met, because Xiaowu and Xiaowu were good friends, little partners, and they were always together, we often went to his house.I like storytelling very much, and his father also likes me very much, so I started to learn from the old man. This is my first exposure to quyi.

At that time, I was studying storytelling, but I was enlightened by cross talk. Perhaps this is also my destiny to have a relationship with cross talk in my life.At that time, the first piece of work I learned was the five-line poem. The five-line poem is a traditional piece-by-line literary work. It uses the five elements of gold, wood, water, fire, and earth to compose poems, and many ancient people are involved.I later thought why Mr. Gao gave me this enlightenment, it must be to give me a comprehensive exercise. One is mouth exercises, and the other is body exercises.Because the five-line poem requires a lot of movements, swords and swords, and at the same time pay attention to the expressions of the characters. It is still painful to talk about this passage, because it is very monotonous, and it is not as humorous as the child thought. This exercise is very hard, and there is no great fun.A fixed action may have to be repeated hundreds of times, and it may not be passable. For example, the golden hammer, turning the golden hammer up and down, gesturing, holding two hammers, with the two hammer heads in front. He found two beer bottles for me, lifted them up like this, and required the mouths of the two bottles to face up, that is, to face each other.Learning from civil servants and military generals, he wears his robes and sometimes wears a quilt to pretend to be Dong Zhuo.I always felt very painful at the time, but thinking about it today, I have benefited a lot.So now I also teach my apprentices the same way. When I see my apprentices standing in the yard wearing quilts on a hot day, grinning in pain, I can't help but secretly smile, as if seeing me back then.

When I first studied with Mr. Gao, I was still very young.Always every morning, my father took me to his house by bike.On the way, I will bring a copy of "Tianjin Daily", and when I get home, I will help Mr. Gao clean up the house, serve him up, and make tea. Hearing what he said, I will learn by the side, which is very similar to the situation in the old days when an apprentice went to a master's house to learn art. Later, I got to know Mr. Chang Baofeng, and I also went to Mr. Chang Baoting's home, and many teachers have taught me one after another.I gradually grew up and could ride a bicycle, so I rode from the Hongqiao District where I live to the north of the Sports Institute, and went to the house of Teacher Chang Baofeng to learn cross talk. When I was young learning art, I had to practice my voice every morning.I live behind the Hongqiao District Committee.Hongqiao District is a district in Tianjin. There is a bridge not far from the house. Affected by the Cultural Revolution, it was called Hongwei Bridge at that time, but now it is called Ziyahe Bridge.Along the bridge of this bridge, I kept walking westward, before dawn, stood by the river, shouted and practiced my voice, said everything I could say, and sang everything I could sing.Thinking about it now, some people say why Guo Degang has a good voice, probably it has something to do with his vocal practice. At that time, I also practiced basic skills. The things I said, such as "Reporting the Names of Vegetables" and "Eight Fan Screens", were good at reciting things, and practiced your lips, teeth and mouthpiece. The other thing I sang was that I could sing whatever I knew, such as my favorite Beijing opera, Pingju opera, and drum music, and I thought it was fun at the time.My only pleasure may be cross talk and dramas related to cross talk, tunes, drum tunes and the like.Until now, I don’t know how to play football or swim. I don’t know all kinds of balls or cards. Quyi is the joy of my youth when I was growing up.Looking back now, that experience was indispensable to me.If I didn't work hard at the beginning, I wouldn't be who I am later.I also like this experience very much, because I live a very monotonous life, including not many friends who play with me.A limited number of friends also like cross talk, drama and so on. As the saying goes, birds of a feather flock together and people form groups.

Until 2004, I studied under Mr. Hou Yaowen. In fact, this process of learning and practicing has never been interrupted, and it has never stopped. When it comes to quyi, in fact, it can be found everywhere in China. It is different from drama, and it is more like the kind of solo rap, which is extremely expressive. One person and two people are a play, from the Northeast to the south of Fujian, Guangdong, Guangdong and Guangxi, all have their own local folk arts. What I have been in contact with is nothing more than the folk art culture in North China, to be precise, the Beijing-Tianjin area. When I was young, I grew up in Tianjin, and later developed in Beijing. The folk arts of the two places are intertwined, and they are nothing more than two pieces, one for singing and the other for reciting. The part of reciting and talking is mainly about cross talk, cross talk, storytelling, kuaibanshu, and Shandong kuaishu.Others are drum music, such as Jingyun Dagu, Xihe Dagu, Meihua Dagu, Shanxianer, Laoting Dagu, and Beijing Qinshu. It is said that there were hundreds of kinds in the prosperous period. But today there are more than a dozen kinds of reciting, saying, and drum music. This is a very sad thing. With the demise of artists, many genres gradually disappeared, which is quite sad.Now some of our art forms are only mastered by one or two people. If he dies, the art will be over, so this is very sad.

When I was young, there were many such actors in Tianjin, such as Mr. Luo Yusheng, a master of Beijing rhyme from the Luo school, Mr. Xiao Lanyun from the Liu school, and Yan Qiuxia from the Bai school. These teachers were all alive at the time, and they all belonged to various schools Leaders.Of course it's gone now.At that time, there were many small tea gardens in Tianjin, and my wife also sang Beijing rhyme and drums, and I also asked these famous masters about their skills. It was also very influential in Tianjin. Relatively speaking, in Beijing, there are fewer types of music and fewer artists.Up to now, Quyi Troupe has been changed into a company, and it is said that the business is not very prosperous after the change. Faced with this situation, I often feel very sad.Since last month, our Deyun Society has set up a performance department for drum music. I will do it even if I lose money. I will invite relevant personnel from all over the country to try to restore it.On my own, I know that I don't have such a great ability, so I will do my best for the inheritance of Chinese folk art.

In fact, these songs have a great influence on me.Drum music and cross talk are actually the same thing, so they are collectively called quyi.As cross talk actors, these are our sources of nutrition, and we all have to learn.Xihe and Jingyun, I have liked these since I was a child. We also use it during performances, but we don't use it a lot, so we just order it as much as we can.But it is unrealistic to demand excellence and be completely like other professional drum performers. They specialize in one subject, and we have to learn a lot. I usually prefer this category. When I was young, I came back to pick up the libretto after recording the sound. At that time, I used that small diary to organize and bind it one by one.One day I accidentally picked up something, and I found these small books, and there were many more, all of which were librettos picked up before. Now seeing those crooked characters I wrote when I was so young, I feel very emotional. But I believe that I am today thanks to these efforts in the early years. When I was young, many people thought I was very strange, why everyone sang, but I was the only one who was good at quyi.Everyone has no common language, and they can't speak with me.Others don't understand it, and I can't understand it when I talk to others.Others talk about singing, but I still can't even sing a song. But when it comes to the type of music, I don't dare to say that it's all right, at least I can sing the next passage pretending to be with the drums, the board and the keys.

I really want to thank this private love back then, a cross talk actor cannot do without this, it is a must.Anything that is involved in folk art programs can show another aspect of the actor's cultivation. We pay attention to speaking, learning and singing. This study actually includes learning these folk arts and drum songs.Nowadays, many of our actors basically don't like to work hard, because it is very difficult to learn this folk art and drum music to be able to sing on stage. It's not like pop songs are so pleasant to the ear and so easy to sing, you can listen to them twice. It is difficult to sing Quyi!
