Emperor Master Liu Bowen 度阴山 23401Words 2018-03-16
When Liu Bowen was 50 years old, he came out to assist Zhu Yuanzhang, who was 33 years old. In 1364, Liu Bowen was 54 years old.During these four years, he transformed an inconspicuous separatist regime and became the number one hegemon in southern China.Later generations said that he can turn decay into magic, which is too exaggerated, but it is a fact that he can turn stones into gold. When Zhu Yuanzhang proclaimed himself King Wu in the first month of 1364, he had already regarded himself as the emperor in his heart. This is indeed the case. In the first month of that year, his fellow countrymen and his most trusted comrades-in-arms Li Shanchang and Xu Da asked him to ascend the throne and proclaim himself emperor. He couldn't restrain his excitement in his heart, but although he was an adventurer, he was extremely politically savvy. At this time, although there was no harm in proclaiming himself emperor, there was no benefit either. So he hypocritically declined and said: "War horses are still galloping on the battlefield, people are still running with shouts, the world is uncertain, the destiny may not be with me, so don't act rashly."

He seems to have forgotten the letter he wrote to Chen Youliang on Poyang Lake, but Liu Bowen did not forget it.Between the lines in the letter, he put himself in the place of destiny, and put Chen Youliang in the furnace against the sky: "Don't do deceitful things, immediately revoke your title of emperor, and wait for the arrival of the true man. Otherwise, the family will be ruined and everyone will die." , it’s too late to regret.” At that time, the Battle of Poyang Lake was only on the second day, and Zhu Yuanzhang was clearly at a disadvantage.Liu Bowen was very surprised to have such a rampant tone in such a situation. But after Liu Bowen was surprised, he saw through Zhu Yuanzhang's heart. This is a man who wants to be an emperor and wants to be crazy.Three months after his victory in the Battle of Poyang Lake, Liu Bowen was taken aback when he calmly refused to proclaim himself emperor amidst the support of the crowd. This person's rationality and self-control are so strong, it is really rare in the world, at least in that era!

Standing on the altar of Liu Bowen's supernatural wisdom, one can understand why Zhu Yuanzhang did not proclaim himself emperor but only king.First, King Xiaoming is still alive in Chuzhou, and everyone in the world, including grass, trees, fish and insects, knows that Zhu Yuanzhang is King Xiaoming's subordinate. If Zhu Yuanzhang proclaims himself emperor, what should his leader, King Xiao Ming, be called? In other words, with King Xiaoming around, at least in terms of reputation, he would not be able to claim the title of emperor. However, in the eyes of Zhu Yuanzhang in 1364, this matter was nothing. What really worries him is that although Chen Youliang is gone, he still has enemies."We cannot ignore any enemy," he said.

According to Zhu Yuanzhang's account, he had four enemies. The first one is the Polo Timur who was captured alive by Fang Guozhen many years ago, and later became at odds with Wang Baobao. In 1364, Polo Timur occupied Hebei and violated the Yuan government. than usual.A few years later, he made the Ming Empire established by Zhu Yuanzhang restless; the third was Li Siqi and Zhang Liangbi, who occupied Guanzhong; the last one, and the closest enemy to Zhu Yuanzhang, was Zhang Shicheng. According to Liu Bowen, the first three of these four enemies are not to be feared, at least in a short period of time, they will not threaten Zhu Yuanzhang.Polo Timur occupies Hebei. Although there is a considerable number of troops, the military discipline is too poor to fight tough battles.Wang Baobao was in Henan, and his military discipline was strict, but there were too few soldiers. As for Li Siqi and Zhang Liangbi, there is nothing to worry about, because the Guanzhong they occupy is seriously short of food, and self-protection is a problem.

Liu Bowen finally said: "Our biggest enemy is naturally Zhang Shicheng. This man needs an army, an army, and food. If you want to eliminate him, you must judge the situation and give him the most fatal blow at the best time." Zhu Yuanzhang asked: "When is the best time?" Liu Bowen looked towards the sky. At that time, it was raining heavily in Yingtian City, and there was a rain curtain hanging on the eaves.Liu Bowen and Zhu Yuanzhang stood side by side under the eaves watching the rain.Liu Bowen didn't give Zhu Yuanzhang an answer, and Zhu Yuanzhang didn't continue to ask.Over the past few years, the two seemed to have formed a cold tacit understanding. Zhu Yuanzhang knew that Liu Bowen would definitely say what he should say, and when he didn't say it, it proved that the time was not yet ripe, so there was no need to ask.

A few years later, Liu Bowen participated in the formulation of laws with Zhu Yuanzhang's permission. He put forward a mindset that has influenced Zhu Yuanzhang for many years: law enforcement must be strict, and it must be inhumane. He said: "The fall of the Yuan Dynasty was too lenient. Therefore, the real law should be like this: once it is formulated, it should not be changed unless it is not at an extraordinary moment. Everyone must be under the framework of the law. Worship the law, and law enforcers must strictly act in accordance with the law. The law is sacred and inviolable, and even the king himself has no right to amend or indulge in the law."

This legal spirit in ancient China was not Liu Bowen's enlightenment. For thousands of years, some conscientious law enforcement officers in China have tried their best to maintain the dignity of the law. However, when they face powerful criminal suspects, even if they talk eloquently, they cannot maintain the dignity of the law. In ancient China, the people who broke the law and defiled the law were sometimes the emperor himself, and sometimes it was the people who were trained by the emperor to sit in honorable positions. In fact, it was not they themselves who violated the law, but the slaves under them. These people are not only enemies of the emperor, but also enemies of the country.

Zhu Yuanzhang once asked Liu Bowen: "Where is my enemy?" Liu Bowen told him: "The greatest enemy of man is not outside but inside." Where is the enemy. The hero Xu Da was the first person to be called by Zhu Yuanzhang to lecture, because his family members relied on his power to do evil in Yingtian City. They don't know the hardships behind the master's creation of these feats. They think that the master can have today's glory and must benefit them. Therefore, they became proud and domineering. They didn't pay for buying vegetables in the vegetable market, and they took a motorcade that exceeded the specification when they went out.

Zhu Yuanzhang said to Xu Da: "You followed me all the way through all the thorns and thorns. You finally got to this point. Don't be ruined by those dogs. You have to control them well, otherwise, not only will they regret it, but you will also regret it one day. " Xu Da broke out in a cold sweat after hearing these words. When he got home, he didn't take off his official uniform, so he gathered the servants to give a lecture, and even killed a few chickens to make an example to the monkeys. Liu Bowen said long ago that the enemies of the empire are those who break the law.And those who dare to break the law must be those who think they are powerful.Once this kind of person indulges, the consequences will be disastrous.

However, this kind of warning did not play a big role for Zhu Yuanzhang at the time.Zhu Yuanzhang is not a philosopher, he can't understand deep problems, he just knows that his enemies are those warlords with soldiers and territories. He often spoke to his generals about discipline, but only on a routine basis. In fact, he didn't take such an enemy to heart at all. It wasn't until after he unified China that the unruly civil and military ministers made him follow Liu Bowen's warning.Unfortunately, it was too late, and routine speeches could no longer solve the problem, only a butcher's knife could be used.

Liu Bowen was in Yingtian City when he was 54 years old.Ying Tiancheng was cloudy and rainy, and there was no sunshine for three months. There were blue-gray raindrops in the air, which wet his face.He stretched out his hand, and it soon became wet. Then he thought of the net of the law, and later, he thought of Zhu Yuanzhang's enemies.Later, he stood in the rain and entered the realm of becoming one with the rain, thinking about nothing. Liu Bowen stood in the best state of his soul for a long time, and suddenly someone came to take a picture of him, and he jumped back to reality from the dream.Looking at the rain, it felt heavy. When he turned around, he glanced at Nanchang (in 1363, Zhu Yuanzhang established Hongdu Mansion as Nanchang Mansion), and cried out in his heart, no, Nanchang has changed! At the end of 1364, Liu Bowen said to Zhu Yuanzhang: "Pay attention to Nanchang." Zhu Yuanzhang was taken aback, and said: "Zhu Wen is in Nanchang." Liu Bowen said again: "Then pay attention to Zhu Wenzheng." Before Liu Bowen said that sentence, Zhu Yuanzhang had never paid attention to Zhu Wenzheng. Pay attention to this "attention". In the political circle, whoever is "attention" will be in trouble. In Zhu Yuanzhang's heart, Zhu Wenzheng will never be unlucky. The wizard who had nailed Chen Youliang to Nanchang City for three months was a dazzling star in Zhu Yuanzhang's mind. But for the "Battle of Hongdu", many people overestimated it.As we talked about earlier, after Nanchang City was rebuilt by Zhu Yuanzhang, Chen Youliang's extremely powerful siege weapon-the battleship was useless.Chen Youliang's rise in southern China was often due to the navy.He was a typical paranoid, overemphasizing the Navy's superiority in his mind. When Zhu Wenzheng was guarding Nanchang City, there were only 20,000 people, and Chen Youliang had 600,000, but the ability of these 600,000 people to attack the city was very poor. The reason why Zhu Wenzheng was able to defend Nanchang City is that he did have a certain degree of dispatching ability—Nanchang City is relatively large, but he was able to allocate 20,000 people reasonably, and he was able to tear down the east wall to make up for the west wall in times of crisis; The opponent's attack power is average. When Zhu Yuanzhang recalled the past about Zhu Wenzheng, the first thing he thought of was the defense of Hongdu. He knew how valuable this defense was to his strategy. But from Chen Youliang's point of view, the gains and losses of Nanchang City are like floating clouds, because his purpose of attacking Nanchang is to attract Zhu Yuanzhang to come to the decisive battle. Therefore, only he, who has become a ghost, knows whether he used all his strength when attacking Nanchang City. This also shows that although Zhu Wen is talented in defending the city, it is far from as high as what later generations said. Under Liu Bowen's reminder, Zhu Yuanzhang turned his face to the southwest and looked towards Nanchang City that day.A frivolous face appeared in front of his eyes, and the owner of this face was Zhu Wenzheng. Zhu Wen is the son of Zhu Yuanzhang's brother Zhu Xinglong. Zhu Xinglong died early, and his wife led Zhu Wenzheng to wander around. After Zhu Yuanzhang's revolutionary cause improved slightly, Zhu Wenzheng and his mother came to join Zhu Yuanzhang. In the subsequent war, Zhu Yuanzhang found that although this nephew was willful and frivolous, he was brave and good at fighting. In the battle of capturing Yingtian, Zhu Wenzheng took the lead and rushed into Yingtian City first, which won Zhu Yuanzhang a lot of face.Zhu Yuanzhang once asked him what kind of official he wanted when discussing rewards for meritorious deeds.Zhu Wenzheng replied very sensiblely: "Uncle, you have really achieved a great career, so why not be rich. First give relatives official titles and rewards, how can you convince the public?" Zhu Yuanzhang was very pleasantly surprised and deeply pleased by his nephew's insight. You must pay attention to Zhu Wenzheng's words. He didn't say no rewards, but wanted the biggest rewards. In 1363, after Zhu Yuanzhang recaptured Nanchang from Chen Youliang, the only person in his mind to guard Nanchang was Zhu Wenzheng. Before Chen Youliang attacked Nanchang City, Zhu Yuanzhang received a secret letter from some officials in Nanchang City, saying that Zhu Wen was ignoring political affairs in Nanchang City and spending his days and nights. They were very worried whether Nanchang City would be lost again in the hands of such a libertine. What is shocking is that when Chen Youliang's 600,000 troops approached the city of Nanchang, Zhu Wenzheng made a super transformation, pushed away the wine glass, kicked away the woman in his arms, washed and dressed, and then dispatched troops, He concentrated on defending Nanchang City. As you know, he defended very well, and the defense of Hongdu was almost perfect. As soon as Chen Youliang withdrew from Nanchang City, Zhu Wenzheng took off his war robe, put on the most exquisite silk robe in the world at that time, held a wine glass with his hands that still smelled of blood, hugged the beautiful woman, and began to sing and dance. When Zhu Yuanzhang and Chen Youliang were fighting to the death in Poyang Lake, he was drunk in Nanchang City.Even those closest to him can't understand him. In normal times, he is a playboy, but in times of crisis, he can immediately enter the role of a savior. If Zhu Yuanzhang is unfathomable, then his nephew Zhu Wenzheng is fickle. You can guess what Zhu Yuanzhang will do next according to his logic, but you will never be able to guess what Zhu Wenzheng will do next. After the Battle of Poyang Lake, Zhu Yuanzhang did not reward anyone heavily. He never thought that Zhu Wenzheng would question his behavior.Because in his mind, Zhu Wenzheng knew the general situation very well, as evidenced by his refusal to grant the reward at the beginning. Liu Bowen reminded Zhu Yuanzhang after the Battle of Poyang Lake, asking him to pay attention to the unsung heroes in this war. These unsung heroes are of course not soldiers floating on Poyang Lake, but people who did not participate in the Battle of Poyang Lake but made outstanding contributions to the Battle of Poyang Lake. For example, the troops stationed at Wuyangdu did not fire a single shot, but they deterred Chen Youliang from fleeing south; another example is Zhu Wenzheng. If Zhu Wenzheng hadn't held Chen Youliang back, Zhu Yuanzhang would not have had sufficient time to prepare. Zhu Yuanzhang said: "Chen Youliang came to attack Nanchang City to fight me decisively. Even if he captured Nanchang City, he would come to Poyang Lake. And we have deployed heavy troops along the Yangtze River to Poyang Lake. That is to say, Zhu Wen His meritorious service is not as great as people think." This became his psychological basis for not rewarding Zhu Wenzheng after the Battle of Poyang Lake. He wishfully believed that Zhu Wenzheng could understand this matter and that Zhu Wenzheng was detached from it. Zhu Wenzheng cannot be detached. In the later period of the Battle of Poyang Lake, Chen Youliang sent people to Nanchang City to rob grain. After he repelled the enemy, he asked his subordinates complacently: "Who do you think has made the greatest contribution in this war?" Their subordinates knew what the master wanted to answer, and said in unison: "It's you." Zhu Wenzheng accepted this answer very bluntly, and said: "I delayed Chen Youliang for three months before my uncle had time to make sufficient preparations. Now I have cut off Chen Youliang's food supply, and he has become a tree without roots. You Look, this kind of feat, the light can compete with the sun and the moon." In his consciousness, he thought that what he said was correct, and he hoped that Zhu Yuanzhang would also agree with this statement.Because it is true that he has not been promoted in the past few years, this time, even the reward of beating the drums and passing flowers, it is his turn. But he soon slipped into the abyss of disappointment, and Zhu Yuanzhang did not make any encouraging rewards for him. At first he walked up and down the room, talking to himself, and then yelled as if possessed. In the end, he put himself into the world of bliss. In this world, there are beautiful women, fine wine, the most pleasing singing and dancing, and men's lewd smiles. His subordinates also became fascinated with him, and someone actually persuaded him to take refuge in Zhang Shicheng.Zhu Wenzheng was horrified when he first heard this suggestion, but later in the endless carnival, his horrified mood was miraculously calmed down.He believes that this proposal has its certain truth. In troubled times, too many people's loyalty has not been cultivated, and it is human instinct to seek advantages and avoid disadvantages. Just when he was about to give play to this instinct, Liu Bowen reminded Zhu Yuanzhang to pay attention to Nanchang City.Zhu Yuanzhang was dubious, but still sent envoys to Nanchang City. The envoy came back and reported that something was wrong with Zhu Wenzheng.According to his observation, Zhu Wenzheng hides a restless heart under his disheartened appearance. At that time, Zhu Yuanzhang had already shown the characteristic of fear of "preferring to believe what is there, not to believe what is not". He then sent envoys to Nanchang City, and specifically asked the envoys to find out whether Zhu Wenzheng was playing with things and losing his mind, or had ulterior motives. Existing historical materials can no longer prove whether Zhu Wenzheng really betrayed Zhu Yuanzhang at that time, or even whether he had the intention to betray Zhu Yuanzhang. However, reports from many envoys pointed out that Zhu Wenzheng did have resentment, and the resentment was very strong. Zhu Yuanzhang was trembling with anger, anyone can betray, only Zhu Wenzheng has no reason to betray.Zhu Yuanzhang sent envoys to scold Zhu Wenzheng. Zhu Wenzheng was terrified. Maybe at this moment, he really wanted to betray Zhu Yuanzhang. It is impossible for Zhu Yuanzhang to give him such an opportunity. In the first month of 1365, Zhu Yuanzhang came to Nanchang City in person, but did not go ashore, and called Zhu Wenzheng to see him.Zhu Wenzheng threw away his wine glass, kicked away the beautiful woman, put on his official uniform hastily, and trotted all the way to Zhu Yuanzhang.Zhu Yuanzhang was standing at the bow of the boat, while Zhu Wenzheng was swaying from side to side, and finally knelt down, leaning forward and backward, like a tumbler. A strong smell of alcohol rushed into Zhu Yuanzhang's nose, Zhu Yuanzhang frowned and asked, "What do you want to do?" Zhu Wenzheng was trembling all over and didn't speak. Zhu Yuanzhang asked "what do you want to do" three times in a row, but Zhu Wenzheng never gave an answer.Maybe, he didn't know how to answer at all.If he said, I was wronged, Zhu Yuanzhang would ask, I didn't even say what you did, why did you say you were wronged? You say you are innocent, which is a crime in itself. If he said, I don't want to do anything, Zhu Yuanzhang would say, don't you do too much! After Zhu Wenzheng was detained to respond to the day, Zhu Yuanzhang said to Liu Bowen: "Mr. is really predictable, this kid really wants to rebel." Liu Bowen said: "I didn't ask you to pay attention to his rebellion. Lost Nanchang." Zhu Yuanzhang was taken aback, he misunderstood. But he couldn't admit it, he said: "Mr. and I thought about it together." We have no way of knowing whether Liu Bowen was telling the truth, but it was these words that made Zhu Wenzheng punished for capital punishment and was imprisoned until he died. When Zhu Yuanzhang was surprised, Liu Bowen said another sentence: "The southeast will lose a good general." This sentence is extraordinary. Several years later, it was this sentence that gave birth to Liu Bowen's most mythical scene-the birth of Shaobing Song. On the day of the first month of 1365, Liu Bowen looked at Zhu Yuanzhang meaningfully, and Zhu Yuanzhang seemed to be in a fog.Liu Bowen said: "The southeast will lose a good general." Zhu Yuanzhang disagreed. Now is the time of war, people die every day, and generals die every day.But Liu Bowen said: "I don't know who it is yet, but now he is walking on the road to the underworld." In the sixth month of the lunar calendar in 1365, Hu Shen, who joined the army of Zhu Yuanzhang's Wu Wangfu, died in Fujian Province.Liu Bowen's words became a prophecy. Hu Shen is a famous general, and he is a good general. There are few generals like him who do not regard other people's lives as trifling.Hu Shen and Liu Bowen worked together under Shi Moyisun's tent in the early years. Liu Bowen's evaluation of him was that he was versatile in both civil and military affairs.Once force is used, it is to go all out, regardless of the outcome, and never look back. Hu Shen is a child prodigy. His innate advantages and hard work made him famous in his hometown Chuzhou at a young age.He is familiar with a subset of classics and history, and can draw wisdom from books. At the same time, like Liu Bowen, he has profound attainments in divination and astrology. After the chaos in the southeast, he looked at the sky at night and said: "The air in the east of Zhejiang is completely white, and a catastrophe is coming." So he sold his property, gathered strong and strong men to form an army, and went to Shima Yisun. When Liu Bowen was under Shi Moyisun's tent, it was the beginning of his great friendship with Hu Shen. This great friendship did not heat up, so Liu Bowen left Chuzhou and returned to his hometown of Qingtian. In 1359, Zhu Yuanzhang's corps attacked Chuzhou, and Hu Shen commanded soldiers from Longquan, Qingyuan, Songyang, and Suichang counties, preparing to retreat and resist tenaciously. But the scholars and people of the four counties petitioned him one after another, asking him to surrender to Zhu Yuanzhang's corps in order to save the lives of the people. Hu Shen looked up to the sky and sighed, and said: "Da Yuan treats me well, how can I have the heart to do such a scandal!" The representatives of the people of the four counties said to him: "You have led the army for several years and worked diligently, but the court has not rewarded you at all. It is because the country has failed you. How can you feel wronged by the country?" A flash of light flashed in Hu Shen's mind, thinking that during the Anshi Rebellion in the Tang Dynasty, Zhang Xun guarded Suiyang, and at the last moment of the battle, the people in the city ate each other. Zhang Xun took out his concubine for the soldiers to eat, but he refused to surrender. Zhang Xun's astounding act of weeping ghosts and gods has made future generations evaluate him in two ways: one believes that he is a person who is loyal to the government and should be vigorously promoted; but there is also a view that if Zhang Xun surrenders, , then there would not be so many tragedies in Suiyang City, causing people to eat people.Everyone has the right to live. Zhang Xun uses other people's lives to show his loyalty, and doesn't take other people's lives seriously at all. He is simply a scumbag. Hu Shen is facing this problem now. In the end, he went against Zhang Xun and opened the door to welcome Zhu Yuanzhang's army into the city. The people in the four counties were safe and sound. When Zhu Yuanzhang invited Liu Bowen several times, Hu Shen wrote to Liu Bowen, imploring him to think about the common people in the world and come out to assist Zhu Yuanzhang.Liu Bowen understood Hu Shen's surrender behavior very well, because Hu Shen is a person who takes other people's lives seriously. In his reply letter to Hu Shen, Liu Bowen pointed out: "I am different from you, Hu Shen. You are truly a common man if you surrender to Zhu Yuanzhang, but I don't have the lives of the people in the four counties in my hands, so I have a choice to rely on Zhu Yuanzhang, but you No. From this point of view, you are nobler than me." A person's nobility is determined by a pure soul, and a pure soul is a person's conscience.Conscience is the heart of right and wrong, and the heart of right and wrong is knowing how to distinguish between good and evil.Knowing what is good and doing it; knowing what is evil and not doing it can make a person enter the palace of the noble. After Hu Shen took refuge in Zhu Yuanzhang, he has been engaged in military conquest and administrative management in Chuzhou.Under his management, Chuzhou quickly recovered from the ruins of the war. When Zhu Yuanzhang saw the vibrant Chuzhou, he couldn't help asking Song Lian: "How about Hu Shen?" Song Lian replied: "He is talented in both civil and military affairs." Zhu Yuanzhang said: "Yes! He is my shield in eastern Zhejiang." Chen Youding, commander of the Fujian Military Region of the Yuan government, did not believe in Hu Shen's barrier. In February of the lunar calendar in 1364, Chen Youding led the main force to attack Chuzhou, and eastern Zhejiang was shaken. Chen Youding and Chen Youliang have nothing to do with each other. Chen Youding is from Fuqing, Fuzhou (now Fuqing, Fujian Province). Shen Yong is resourceful, loyal, and has strong social communication skills, so he has a wide network of contacts. When he was a child, he released cranes to the landlord's house, and he was deeply moved by the noble character of the cranes. When he drove the cranes away and let them fly, he secretly vowed in his heart that he would soar into the sky like these big birds in the future. After he was in his twenties, he went to work at the post station of the Yuan government in Fujian province, and was soon promoted to station master. In 1352, a peasant armed force of more than a thousand people galloped across the local area, and the officers and soldiers had nothing to do.Chen Youding took the initiative to invite Ying, and when this small army of peasants came to the post station to ask for war horses, he hosted a banquet for them, secretly collected their weapons, and killed them all when they were drunk. After the leader of the peasant armed forces heard the news, he led people to take revenge.Chen Youding set up an ambush on their way and wiped them out in one fell swoop. The Yuan government was very satisfied with his performance and gave him an administrative establishment. In 1352, Chen Youding, the crane, began to dream of flying. In 1358, he was promoted to the commander of the Yanping Road Military Region. He soared into the sky and became a crane of the Yuan government in Fujian. In 1359, Chen Youding defeated Deng Keming, the general of Chen Youliang who came to attack Fujian towns. In 1363, Chen Youding defeated Deng Keming again. These two battles made him famous in Fujian and became an out-and-out powerful warlord in Fujian. But he is completely different from Fang Guozhen and Zhang Shicheng. He is as loyal to the Yuan government as he is to his own soul. In 1365, Zhu Yuanzhang took a fancy to Fujian. But he knew that this was not an easy piece of meat, as evidenced by Chen Youliang's two disastrous defeats. After thinking about it, Zhu Yuanzhang transferred Hu Shen from Chuzhou, and at the same time dispatched a fierce general Zhu Liangzu, and sent the two of them to the Fujian battlefield. Zhu Liangzu was originally a big boss armed with bandits, full of bandit spirit, doing his own way, and was later subdued by Zhu Yuanzhang and became one of Zhu Yuanzhang's pawns.Zhu Yuanzhang asked him to go to the Fujian battlefield with Hu Shen, probably because his brute strength could stimulate the momentum in Hu Shen's cautious character. But it was this arrangement that ruined Hu Shen's life. In terms of administrative settings, Zhu Liangzu and Hu Shen are equal in rank, and neither can command the other. When it comes time to have a command, whoever has a bad temper will be the commander in chief. In the sixth month of the lunar calendar in 1365, the two came to Jianning City. Facing the high and thick Jianning City, Zhu Liangzu asked Hu Shen to launch a general attack. At that time, it was raining heavily, Hu Shen's eyelids twitched, he pinched his fingers, and said to Zhu Liangzu: "The weather is not good for us, I'm afraid there will be disasters." What does this prove!" At this time, it was the time when Liu Bowen said to Zhu Yuanzhang that "a good general will be lost in the southeast"; at this time, it was the time when Zhu Liangzu asked Hu Shen to send troops at the top of his voice; At this time, it is also the time when Chen Youding devotes himself to preparing to annihilate this Zhu Yuanzhang corps. When the heavy rain was pouring, Hu Shen couldn't hold back Zhu Liangzu's urging, stepped on his horse, and attacked the main gate of Jianning City according to his ideal attack method. The defenders of Jianning City resisted tenaciously. After Chen Youding learned that the main force of Zhu Yuanzhang's corps was attacking Jianning City wholeheartedly, he ordered the defender Ruan Derou to seize the opportunity to counterattack, and sent another force to attack Hu Shen's rear, and Hu Shen Deeply lead to the vicinity of Jinjiang, where Chen Youliang has set up a net. Hu Shen knew that the army attacking him was a decoy, but he had to pursue it, because the defenders of Jianning City had already launched a counterattack, and he didn't want to be caught in a bun.Just when he pursued to Jinjiang and begged God to bless Chen Youding from ambush, with the sound of a gong, Chen Youding's tough and combative Fujian corps rushed out from all directions.Hu was deeply trapped in the encirclement, broke through many times and failed many times. In the end, Hu Shen's horse fell and he was captured alive. Seeing Chen Youding, Hu Shen still wanted to use his three-inch tongue to exaggerate Zhu Yuanzhang's greatness to Chen Youding.Chen Youding smiled coldly, and blocked his mouth with one sentence: "You have betrayed the Lord!" Hu Shen suddenly felt that he was trapped in darkness, which was boundless darkness. He saw his strategizing under Shi Moyisun's tent, heard the wailing of the officials and people in the four counties begging him to surrender, and smelled the fragrance of magnolia flowers on the mountain in his hometown. He let out a long sigh, without another word, Chen Youding ruthlessly touched the fragile nerves that he had never dared to touch in the past few years. When news of Hu Shen being captured by Chen Youding reached Yingtian, it was raining. The rain hit the banana leaves, crackling.Zhu Yuanzhang said to Liu Bowen: "Mr. said that a good general must be lost in the southeast, and it really came true." Liu Bowen said: "It has not yet been fulfilled." Zhu Yuanzhang was puzzled, staring and waiting for Liu Bowen's explanation. Liu Bowen said: "There are sunspots in the sun, and a good general dies, not captured." Zhu Yuanzhang chuckled: "Chen Youding is just an upstart, I can redeem Hu Shen with good horses, gold and silver." Liu Bowen also laughed, very lightly, Zhu Yuanzhang didn't hear it at all amidst the noisy rain.Liu Bowen continued: "Chen Youding is a person who is loyal to the Yuan Dynasty, and he will never make a deal with you." Liu Bowen guessed right, Chen Youding is not an upstart, he is the purest crane in the eyes of the Yuan government. When Zhu Yuanzhang proposed to Chen Youding his idea of trying to get Hu Shen back, Chen Youding smiled coldly and threw the letter aside.A few days later, at the request of the Yuan government, Hu Shen was executed. Hu Shen's absence did not make Zhu Yuanzhang regret for a long time. What surprised Zhu Yuanzhang the most was that Liu Bowen could really predict things like a god. Zhu Yuanzhang knew that he had to learn this kind of supernatural skill. On an afternoon after the rain in April of the lunar calendar in 1366, in the gloomy Wu Palace, Zhu Yuanzhang suddenly thought of the four words "returning to the hometown".An ink painting appeared in front of his eyes. It showed a big man with thick lines, wearing a pitch-black armor, riding a tall horse, galloping on the way back to Jiangdong. This person is naturally Xiang Yu.Xiang Yu had just destroyed the Qin Dynasty at that time, and was about to lead his troops back to his hometown.Someone told him that Guanzhong is where the emperor's foundation is located and should not be abandoned easily.Xiang Yu said that if you don't return to your hometown when you are rich, it's like walking in the dark in brocade.Later, some people said that Xiang Yu was a monkey wearing a hat. This kind of person's IQ cannot understand Xiang Yu at all. It was not all because of his good luck that Xiang Yu was able to build the world-shaking Qin Qigong, his mind was not just a decoration.During the Jiangdong Revolution, he led eight thousand villagers to the Central Plains. After many years of bloody battles, the composition of his regiment was always dominated by Jiangdong people. After the completion of the work, the boy has become a youth, the youth has become a middle age, and the middle age is about to enter the state of old age. They missed their long-lost hometown so much, Xiang Yu wanted to go back to Jiangdong, not only because of his vanity of "returning home", but also because of the current situation. If he establishes his capital in Guanzhong, the Corps must have deep grievances, and the Chinese people have a strong local flavor. How to maintain his authority is a big problem. Zhu Yuanzhang understood Xiang Yu very well. Emotionally, he wanted to go back to his hometown; politically, he made his fortune in his hometown of Huaixi, and most of his troops were from Huaixi. Among his civil servants and generals, Huaixi people accounted for eighty-nine out of ten. .The circle of these people is called the Huaixi Group. When Zhu Yuanzhang and Zhang Shicheng went to war in 1366, victory was only a matter of time.At this time, Zhu Yuanzhang already had the capital to return home, but he and Xiang Yu had a slightly different idea at the time. Xiang Yu returned to his hometown, purely for joy. When Zhu Yuanzhang returned to his hometown, he was extremely miserable—his father and mother did not even have a grave. That gloomy afternoon, Zhu Yuanzhang told Liu Bowen the tragic past of his parents, and couldn't help shedding a few tears.Liu Bowen immediately understood that Zhu Yuanzhang wanted to return to his hometown Haozhou. Liu Bowen looked at the leaden sky outside, and another rain was coming. He said to Zhu Yuanzhang: "I'm afraid it's not the time to go back to Haozhou at this time." Zhu Yuanzhang glanced at him.Liu Bowen said: "Our war with Zhang Shicheng is entering a critical moment. Your departure may affect the morale of the army." Zhu Yuanzhang smiled this time, and said to Liu Bowen: "Zhang Shicheng is already in my hands, so don't worry. I have to go back to my hometown." Liu Bowen immediately asked: "Do you want to build the new capital in your hometown?" Zhu Yuanzhang was taken aback. This was his plan for two years later, but Liu Bo Wenbu figured it out at this time.Just like in the boundless sea, when you are at a loss, you suddenly see a guiding lighthouse.Zhu Yuanzhang hurriedly dispelled this idea. At this time, this idea should not exist anyway. It must exist, but it is definitely not at this time."Of course not, I want to rebury my parents' grave," he said. Zhu Yuanzhang said that the greatest pain in his life was not the experience of eternal hunger, nor the loss of his closest comrades-in-arms on a bloody battlefield, nor the anxiety and fear in the midst of danger, but his parents, who died after death. Not a single decent grave.Every time he thinks about this, his heart feels like a knife, and he almost bleeds. Liu Bowen said that he didn't have such feelings. His parents' tombs are very decent, so he couldn't understand Zhu Yuanzhang's feelings.People's fate is different, and the psychological state formed later is naturally different. But he later said that although he could not understand Zhu Yuanzhang's psychology, he was still willing to let Zhu Yuanzhang return to his hometown, but there was only one condition. His condition was exactly what Zhu Yuanzhang was least willing to do: he was not allowed to relocate his parents' graves. When Zhu Yuanzhang's parents died, there was no coffin, and even the cemetery was randomly selected. For the Chinese who despise life and value death, whoever does such a thing to their parents is a treason. Now, Zhu Yuanzhang, a poor boy who became rich overnight, had to take off the hat of "rebellion and injustice", but Liu Bowen refused to let him take it off. One can imagine the resentment in his heart. Of course Liu Bowen had his reasons. He said: "I have not personally seen where the tombs of the two of you, Gao Tang, are. But I know a basic Feng Shui theory, and you cannot move the grave easily. Otherwise, if Feng Shui is destroyed, you will be in bad luck." Forged an indissoluble bond." What Zhu Yuanzhang fears most is bad luck.A person who has never been unlucky will never understand the pain of advancing and retreating with bad luck. Seeing Liu Bowen's words are extremely serious, he dismissed the idea.Liu Bowen told him again: "Even when decorating your parents' tomb, keep it simple." Zhu Yuanzhang got angry this time, but before he expressed it in words, Liu Bowen immediately said: "Of course, filial piety is the way of heaven, just watch it." The conversation between the two ended with the rain getting heavier.Just as they finished their conversation, Zhu Yuanzhang's corps swept across Zhang Shicheng's garrisons all over the Huai River, clearing away the dust for Zhu Yuanzhang's return home. Zhu Yuanzhang went back to his hometown that time, looked at the desolate graves of his parents, and cried bitterly, as if his parents had died again.Despite the pain, he followed Liu Bowen's suggestion and did not change the burial. He just redecorated his parents' tomb and arranged for more than 20 residents living next to the tomb to guard the tomb. After Zhu Yuanzhang ascended the throne in Yingtian and proclaimed himself emperor, he sent someone to decorate his parents' graves again. This is today's Ming Emperor's Mausoleum seven kilometers south of Fengyang City, Anhui. The mausoleum of the Ming emperor is grand in scale, solemn and magnificent, and stands out among the tombs of the parents of the founding emperors of all dynasties. For more than 200 years in the Ming Dynasty, the Ming Emperor's Mausoleum has always received the most considerate care.At the end of the Ming Dynasty, the revolutionary Zhang Xianzhong captured Fengyang and destroyed the Ming Emperor's Mausoleum like skinning and deboning. This is something Zhu Yuanzhang would never have thought of. No one knows whether Liu Bowen has thought about it.
