He also witnessed the scene of the PLA representatives carrying grain from the train and helping the old workers deliver food to their homes. At that time, when the factory resumed production, one of the major difficulties restricting production was the shortage of tools and measuring tools.Ma Hengchang donated a "micrometer" that was treasured at home.But Ma Hengchang's wife was very distressed. This kind of ruler could not be manufactured in China at that time, and it was very scarce. It could be exchanged for a year's ration of the whole family. At the beginning of March 1949, Ma Hengchang, who had secretly joined the Communist Party, led a group of lathe workers to initiate a "Red May Labor Competition" for all workers in the factory, which set off a production upsurge to support the frontline, and effectively promoted the completion of the factory's pre-support production plan ahead of schedule. In September 1950, Ma Hengchang participated in the National Conference of Workers, Peasants and Soldiers Model Workers on behalf of his group.The team was awarded the title of National Model Worker Group - "Model on the Production Front", and Ma Hengchang was named a National Model Worker, becoming a glorious founding model worker.From 1950 to 1976, Ma Hengchang was cordially received by Chairman Mao 13 times. "Ma Chunzhong said: "This is the first time my father disobeyed the organization's decision."

"Together with one heart and win-win situation, being brave to be the first, daring to surpass, and rejuvenating the enterprise to serve the country" is the spiritual concept of Ma Hengchang Group. Over the past 60 years, Ma Hengchang and Ma Hengchang's team have created miracles one after another.
