Jia Tuofu, a proletarian revolutionary of the older generation, participated in the revolution at the age of 14 and was persecuted to death by the "Gang of Four" at the age of 54. His revolutionary career of more than 40 years is both magnificent and regrettable.When we wrote about his legendary struggle experience, we found that he did not leave any autobiography and memories for himself. We can only check the archives, visit his leaders, colleagues, and comrades-in-arms, and refer to their memoirs and writings , was able to write this biography of Jatov. This book is based on the publication of the Central Party History Publishing House in 1993, referring to the 1995 joint edition of the Party History Research Office of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the General Office of the State Planning Commission, and the General Office of the China Light Industry Federation. After Jia Tuofu was persecuted to death, especially after the smashing of the "Gang of Four", Zhao Jialiang and Chen Dalun and Zhang Zhixiang who had worked with Jia Tuofu for many years , Zheng Gehuan, Chang Cheng and others have done a lot of work for his rehabilitation, and put a lot of effort into the publication of this book.

In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Long March of the Chinese Red Army, Mao Xinyu, the grandson of Chairman Mao Zedong, wrote and published the book "Grandfather Leads the Red Army Through - Mao Xinyu Talks about the Long March". Guide", he wrote: "There is a person who played a very critical role in the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China's selection of the Red Army's Long March. He is Jia Tuofu." "Jia Tuofu is the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Red Army. Northern Shaanxi has made important contributions and played the role of a guide for marching into northern Shaanxi." Mao Xinyu's research enables us to understand Jatov's contribution to the process of Chinese revolution from one side.
