Things are mixed, congenitally born.Silence!Liao Xi!Independence without change, circle around without peril, can be the mother of the world, I don't know its name, the word is Tao, and the strong name is Da.The day passes away, the day passes away, and the day goes far away. Therefore, the Dao is big, the sky is big, the earth is big, and the king is also big. There are four major domains, and the king lives in one of them.Man follows the earth, the earth follows the sky, the sky follows the Tao, and the Tao follows nature. world old mother In the previous chapters, we have continuously talked about the wonderful use of Tao, which is in daily life, in various behaviors for people and things. Now the book "Laozi" has returned to further explain the principle of "integration of body and function".However, what exactly is "Tao"?What is "Tao"?This is the most fundamental philosophical question. But in the book "Lao Tzu", various ingenious words and characters have been used everywhere, asking people to understand it from different angles, and it has been expressed in explicit or implicit words and words, revealing the inner News, there is no need for future generations to add superfluous and commentary.

"Lao Tzu" has five thousand words, eloquent and easy to read, the truth of Tao, the answer lies in it.At the beginning of the first chapter, it is straightforward to say: "Tao can be Tao, very Tao".There is a tendency to clear the clouds and see the sun, sweeping away all the obstacles to relative famous sayings. Now this chapter also says: "There is a mixture of things, born innately. Lonely! Few! Independent without changing, traveling around without dying, can be the mother of the world, I don't know its name, the word is Tao." Since ancient times, many people have studied "Lao Tzu", and quite a few think that Lao Tzu is a "materialist thinker" who emphasizes things. Modern ordinary people are more deeply influenced by Western philosophy, and have more affirmations, and make annotations in the direction of materialism. This kind of misuse of modern consciousness or Western concepts, attaching the meaning of ancient Chinese prose, so that people can't understand clearly, I really don't agree with it.The ideas expressed by Lao Tzu from the beginning to the end of the book are to explain that the existence of the universe and life is "unity of mind and matter", and there is no doubt about it.

"There are things mixed", this word "thing" is different from the word "material" that modern people understand. This key point has been mentioned earlier. "There is a thing" in "There is a thing", this "thing" can refer to a non-material state of existence, such as spirit, psychology or "force", "energy", etc., and can also represent a material "thing".Here, the "mixture of things" is a synonym for "Tao". The connotation of this Tao includes material and non-material, which is a mixture of "mind and matter".

This "unity of mind and matter" idea originated from.It is the foundation of thousands of years of Chinese history and culture, the philosophy of philosophy, and the classic of classics.Chinese cultural thought has always talked about the two symbols of "Yin" and "Yang", and based on the mutual change between the two, mutual generation and mutual restraint, to establish its cosmology and ethics. If we use "Yang" as the code name of spirit, then "Yin" is the code name of matter. The combination of Yin and Yang, and the fusion of mind and matter create and create a world of sentient beings and ruthless that have everything that one expects to find and endless. world.

However, mind and matter are just two aspects of one body. This integrated Tao is "born from the heavens and the earth", and the formation and destruction of everything in the universe are all due to its functions. In the Northern and Southern Dynasties, during Emperor Liang Wu of the Southern Dynasties, there was a Zen master Fu Dashi (Fu Weng). His Enlightenment Gather said: "There are things innate to heaven and earth, and invisible to be lonely. They can be the master of all phenomena, and they will not wither in the four seasons."The thought expressed in this ode is a typical example of the fusion of Chinese Taoist Laozi thought and Buddhism.

"There is something prior to heaven and earth", it has no image, it exists before heaven and earth, and everything in the universe is originally it.The various changes of all phenomena, arising and extinction, are just two different phenomena. Although they are inseparable from the "Tao" that transcends all things, they cannot affect its essence. It is the same as the light and darkness we are familiar with in daily life. The light and darkness come and go, and the light and darkness come and go. It arises and perishes due to the change of nature; but its magical function is manifested in the coming and going of light and dark day and night. The so-called metaphysical Tao and Noumenon have actually appeared thoroughly and without any concealment in the myriad phenomena created by it.The Buddhist teaching of "dependence arises from nature and emptiness, and nature from emptiness depends on origin" can be said to be a further interpretation and development of this principle.

So, what kind of situation is it that "things are mixed, and things are born congenitally"?Lao Tzu described it as: "Lonely! Few! Independence without change, Zhou Xing without peril." Lao Tzu's thinking is different from Indian Buddhism's expression of metaphysical Tao. Buddhism only uses the word "empty" at the end to represent , while Laozi uses "ji" and "little".Silence is absolute emptiness, extremely quiet, without any sensuality or imagery. "Liao" is used to describe vastness, which is similar to "immeasurable and boundless" in Buddhism.

The names used by Buddhism are the same as "empty", which is based on the principle of Taoism; while "Ji" and "Liu" used by Taoism are used to describe their realm and phenomenon, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages in expression. Each has its own disadvantages.Talking about "emptiness", it is inevitable that some people will mistake it for the extinction of thoughts; talking about "silence" and "littleness" can easily make people cling to a phenomenon and fall into the realm of the realm. Lao Tzu said this way, "Lonely! Few!", pure and quiet, vast and boundless, without image, sound, color to be found, never seen or touched; "independent and unchangeable", transcending everything, quietly Self-reliant, calm and unmoved, not changing due to physical changes in the phenomenal world, not arising and passing away due to the birth and death of the physical world. But we should pay attention here, Lao Tzu said "independence without change", he did not say "independence and permanent residence". "Permanent dwelling" makes people feel that it refers to a real being with an image, but Tao is not suitable to be called a real being.Because it is "neither mind nor matter", but it cannot be said that it is not real, because it "is mind and matter". "Walk around without dying", it is everywhere, and there is a way everywhere. No matter whether it is "things" or "mind", they all have their existence, endless and pervasive everywhere. "It can be the mother of the world. I don't know its name. The word is Tao." This thing is the foundation of all universes and everything, and it is full of all possibilities. It is really difficult to describe it with ordinary language and characters. Therefore, our ancient Chinese Old ancestors, as a last resort, let's call it "Tao", and use "Tao" to unify the ultimate destination of all dharmas.

Inseparable from kingly way and human way The name of Tao, in primitive Chinese culture, is synonymous with the nature of detachment from religion. Western philosophy calls it "the first cause", but there are still differences in connotation. In terms of religious terms, Christianity and Catholicism call it "God", "master" and "God", Islam calls it "Allah", and Buddhism calls it "Tathagata" and "Buddha".Religious words like this, ordinary people can easily form another imaginary concept that deviates from the original meaning in their own psychological consciousness based on their own knowledge, habits, and subconscious ideas, confusing them, and even covering them. An indescribable mystery. For example, when we mention "God", we almost think of it as a god who can control everything, dominate everything, and possess the greatest authority in the universe. When "Tathagata" is mentioned, most people immediately think of the "statue" sitting in the temple hall, with lowered eyebrows and downcast eyes, which does not eat the fireworks of the world. This kind of understanding of metaphysical truth based on one's own likes, dislikes and imagination involves quite serious problems.

Early Chinese cultural thought did not attach any religious form to the thing "Tao", or it belonged to a certain philosophical school. In addition to the name of Dao, there are several terms that are synonymous with it. Lao Tzu also proposed: "The name of the strong is big", because it is really infinite, boundless, and too big, so it can also be called "big"; "Da means death", and "big" means "passing", and "passing" is an eternal extension and development in all directions, which is equivalent to saying that the universe is infinitely expanding.Speaking of this, we find it very interesting to see the word "passing away".To extend Liezi's words, it is: "There are sages in the east, and sages in the west. They have the same heart and the same reason." Laozi believes that the Tao itself is immeasurable and boundless, so it is named For "passing away".In the same sense, "Buddha" in the Buddhist scriptures also has ten titles, and "Sutra" is one of them.In addition to the meaning of "impermanence", the "passing" of "good passing" also represents infinity, describing indescribably greatness, which coincides with Laozi's "big day passing".But we know that it has been quite some time since the time of Laozi that Buddhist scriptures were translated into China. However, Laozi already had the same views and words in ancient Chinese culture.

Since "the great day passes away", then "the death is far away", it is boundless, extending in all directions, "it is applicable everywhere", there is no place that is inferior, and it also means boundless and endless. However, because the "Tao" is too big and too far away, it pervades everywhere, connects the past and the present, and extends to the future. If we pursue it in a big and far-reaching way, it will be difficult to achieve, and we may get lost in all kinds of things. In the world of strange and strange phenomena, I can't extricate myself. In fact, the "Tao" is in each person's self, and he can't leave it even for a moment. If you can turn to yourself, look back and introspect, you will have hope when you see the "Tao".So "passing away means far away, and far away means turning back".The farthest is the nearest, and the last is the first. As long as you are clear-headed and open your eyes, the horizon is right here. We know the concept in China in the past, which called the essence of the universe as "Tao", and other names such as "Da", "Shi", "Yuan", "Fan", and even "Heaven" as mentioned by Confucianism, or "Emperor" is also the code name of "Tao". In total, there are at least a dozen aliases for "Tao". Later, Indian culture spread to China, and among them, there are also ten Buddha's sayings about metaphysical noumenon. The code name, compared with the original Chinese "Tao" appellation, is quite similar. It is almost the same reason and the same statement. I don't know if the two sides held a joint meeting at that time to coordinate with each other on this issue in detail. However, otherwise, how could it be so coincidental and echoing each other? (Laughs). In fact, this is exactly the principle that "there are sages in the east and sages in the west. They have the same heart and the same reason". There is only one truth in the world. There is no two and there is no three, but there are some differences in the way of expression between the East and the West. Then, Lao Tzu said, "The Dao is great, the sky is great, the earth is great, and the king is also great."This paragraph talks about "heaven" and "earth", but suddenly a "king" comes out, and the king is the representative.According to traditional Chinese culture, "heaven, earth, and man" are always listed side by side, and man is among them.why?Because Chinese culture pays the most attention to "humanity", the spirit of humanity is the strongest, and the value of humanity is the most valued.Suppose we now have an exam question, "What is the value of life?" or "What is the purpose of life?" If we answer it from the perspective of Chinese culture and thought, there is only one answer-"Counselor Yu Dizhi Huayu" ("Book of Changes") · Xici Biography"). "Cultural Education of Counselor Heaven and Earth" is exactly where the value of humanity lies.Born between the heaven and the earth, suddenly decades of life, like a passer-by, fleeting, what is its significance? Our world is called the Saha World in Buddhism, which means "tolerable", and human beings live in it, and they can barely get by.This world is not complete, with many flaws and problems, but human wisdom and ability, as long as it can be used rationally, can create a complete and harmonious life and make up for the shortcomings of the world. For example, if there was always a sun hanging in the sky and there was no night, human beings would not invent electric lights and create light in darkness. If it weren't for the climate change of the four seasons on the earth, sometimes it rains and sometimes it blows wind, humans would not build houses to live in, or invent protective equipment such as raincoats and umbrellas. This kind of response and creation by human beings due to the changes of various phenomena in the world is called "counselor".This kind of human wisdom and ability is so great, so Chinese culture regards him as the "three talents" of "heaven, earth, and man".This is the old explanation. Then, "The Dao is great, the sky is great, the earth is great, and the king is also great. There are four great things in the domain, and the king lives in one of them." "Domain" is to represent the vast cosmic domain. Here the four elements of Taoism are different from the so-called four elements of Buddhism. The four elements of Buddhism refer specifically to the four elements that make up the material world—earth, water, fire, and wind. The four major elements mentioned by Taoism are "Tao, Heaven, Earth, and Man".The code name of the "Four Great Ones" was first proposed by Lao Tzu, and it is not like the Four Great Buddhist Schools.Laozi said that in this endless universe, there are four things that are the most important and crucial, and human value accounts for one of them. The representative of the four great middlemen is "Wang". The ancient Chinese culture interprets "Wang" as Wang Ye and Yong Ye.There is the so-called "Wang Xiangri" in fortune-telling and fortune-telling. In ancient texts, it is also called "Wang Xiangri".Everyone chooses a prosperous phase day that is beneficial to them according to their own horoscope to do a certain thing, thinking that it will be auspicious. How can human beings be listed as one of the four great beings in the universe along with "the greatness of Tao, the greatness of heaven, and the greatness of earth"?This is because human beings' ingenuity can "counselor the cultivation of heaven and earth", overcome the factors that are unfavorable to human beings in the universe and nature, and perform a set of long history and culture between heaven and earth. finally natural Since the status of human beings is so important and special, Lao Tzu will continue to tell us the rules of life and doing things, how to cultivate the Tao, and how to practice the Tao. "Man follows the earth, the earth follows the sky, the sky follows the Tao, and the Tao follows nature."This is the secret language of Lao Tzu, which is not easy to come by through the ages. It is the essence of Lao Tzu's thoughts. If you understand the truth of these words, you will almost grasp the key to cultivating and practicing the Tao. mean.Man should imitate the earth, and the earth follows the law of the sky. The "heaven" here refers to the natural physical sky of the tangible solar system, that is, the sky of celestial bodies in astronomy. It is not an abstract concept. The earth follows the law of the sky, and the sky follows the Tao, and the Tao is the basis for its operation. Then, what does Tao take as the object of imitation? "Tao follows nature". Now let's first explain the problem of "nature".The newly emerging "Comparative Religion" or "Philosophy of Religion" integrates and compares the philosophical theories and facts of religions from all over the world, such as Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, etc. , looking for the similarities and differences and the relationship between them, many interesting problems have been found, which are worthy of further in-depth exploration. If we use a more religious attitude, put aside those superficial religious emotional psychology, and focus on the general ethical level of general religions teaching people how to do good deeds, then everything is perfect and on the same level. As for going further, to thoroughly understand the depth of the actual connotation of each religion, there are many problems, and it cannot be generalized, and it is worthy of careful study and experience. For a long time, there have been many Buddhist works criticizing Taoism as "natural heretics".Because they see Lao Tzu saying "Tao follows nature", they naturally associate the two together. In fact, when Sakyamuni Buddha in India was alive, there were dozens of philosophical thoughts that were opposed to Buddhism, especially one of the few university schools that had the same influence as Sakyamuni Buddha at that time. ", which has nothing to do with the nature that Lao Tzu said "Tao follows nature".The two have not become sisters, or brothers or anything, and there is no suspicion of communicating with each other. The natural heretics in India at that time belonged to the school of nature, and their so-called "nature" was entirely from a physical point of view. But Lao Tzu's thinking is definitely not like this.In modern China, when translating Western classics, physics, chemistry, and other disciplines are collectively referred to as natural sciences. This is a term borrowed from Lao Tzu. We should not think that the "nature" mentioned by Lao Tzu is equivalent to the nature of physics. It is very unreasonable to apply Lao Tzu's thinking to the top. Although Laozi did not give a direct definition, what does Laozi mean by "nature"?However, we can’t be like the judges in the court. When trying a case, we can use “free evidence” to judge the naturalization of academic thought at will, make random judgments, and insist that the “nature” mentioned by Lao Tzu is also Indian. "Natural heretics"; indiscriminately throwing Lao Tzu into the case of "materialist philosophy" is a misunderstanding that is wrong and wrong. This kind of situation, if we borrow the name of Buddhism, is "all living beings upside down" and "upside down all living beings".Because we have been hindered by the two kinds of ambiguities in understanding, confusion and confusion, we cannot become enlightened, and we cannot see the true meaning of the universe. Then Laozi said: "Man follows the earth, the earth follows the sky, the sky follows the Tao, and the Tao follows nature." What is the exact meaning of this "nature"?The answer is very simple. The word "nature" needs to be explained separately from the combination of Chinese philology. The "nature" mentioned by Lao Tzu means that the Tao itself is absolute, and the Tao is "natural", and "natural" is the Tao. It does not need to imitate anyone at all. "nature". If we have a thorough understanding of Mahayana Buddhism, we will certainly not feel in a dilemma about the philosophical issues of the universe and phenomena. There is a term in Buddhism, "Faer Rushi", which means that all dharmas are originally like this. How could life be like that?People are like that. How can you be like this?I am like this.Everything is like this, and all dharmas are the reasons for all dharmas, and there are no other reasons or reasons. This is called "Fare is like this".Seeing "Tao follows nature" from "Faer Rushi" is the most clear. "Tao follows nature", and "nature" itself is so and so, there is no other norm to find, and there is no other thing that can be the master, "Tao" is "nature", "naturally", It is "Faerrushi". When translating Buddhist scriptures, the ancients were afraid of mixing up the noun with Lao Tzu's "nature", so they had to create another word and call it "Faerrushi". Speaking of this, I have repeatedly emphasized that when people of later generations read the works of the ancients, they often use their own contemporary ideas or habits of modern language to make biased annotations and slander the ancients. What a sin. When reading a book about an era, first of all, one must be able to go back to the actual situation of the original era, experience the cultural relics and customs of the society at that time, understand the life mentality of all social strata at that time, as well as the language habits of that time, so as to master the cultural thoughts of an era The source of creation and the historical and cultural background are clear, only in this way can we avoid misinterpreting the philosophical thoughts and literary and artistic creations at that time, and give correct and reasonable evaluation. For example, when we study the classics of Shakyamuni Buddha, we have to go back to the agricultural society of ancient India more than 2,000 years ago, and put ourselves in the shoes of the people at that time.At that time, India was a world with a huge gap between rich and poor, extreme inequality, ignorance and suffering everywhere. If you read history, you can really put yourself into "people are drowning in themselves, others are hungry", and experience the pain as if you have tasted it yourself, then you can truly understand why Sakyamuni Buddha advocated "all beings are equal". ", why do you call on everyone to have the vow of helping all sentient beings, so that you can realize the true greatness of the Buddha at that time.If the world is peaceful, the world is good, everyone lives carefree, there is no shortage of everything, cars, bungalows, heating and cooling, everything is available, and life is quite comfortable; even if it is a little worse than this situation, then I'm still enjoying it, so why expect you to save something?help what? longing for heaven and earth Having said that, Lao Tzu said that "people follow the earth".How can people imitate the earth? It is difficult for people to learn from the earth.Let’s see that the earth carries all things and bears everything for us. The growth of our life depends entirely on the earth. We eat what the earth grows, wear what we wear, and all our daily necessities come from the earth. earth. But what do we give it in return? It's just a handful of dirty and smelly rotting pus and blood and decayed bones after death. When people are alive, they throw all unnecessary things, such as feces, urine, saliva, etc., to the earth in a mess, but the earth has no complaints, not only growing and growing all things, but also carrying all things sin. When we are alive, shouldn't we imitate the great spirit of the earth, which is selfless and all-encompassing?In fact, traditional Chinese culture has always emphasized this spirit. The "Kun hexagram" in the ancient book describes the greatness of the earth as "straight", "square" and "big", pointing out that the earth will always follow the path and go straight.Inclusive of everything, do not change its virtue.Buddhists have the same view on this, and later translated the "Hua Yan Sutra" with the title of "Great Fang Guang Buddha", which can also be said to be influenced by the "Kun Gua" hexagram. Furthermore, when we imitate the earth, in addition to the above reasons, we must also understand the significance of the earth's continuous movement since long ago.The earth is always turning. If the earth does not rotate for a day, or even stops for a minute and a second, our human beings and all other life will come to an end. People think that the rotation of the earth is modern scientific knowledge. In fact, China has known it since ancient times, but we have not investigated it in detail. Some people, based on the "round sky and earth" mentioned in some Chinese books, insisted that the ancients believed that the earth is square. This kind of saying that people say what others say without knowing it is very wrong. Zeng Zi, a disciple of Confucius, once said that the earth is round, not square, and it keeps rotating. It has a long history. If we human beings want to imitate the earth, we should do as the hexagram says: "Heaven moves vigorously, and a gentleman strives for self-improvement." "Xingjian" is the rotation of the heaven and the earth, and it is always moving forward. Therefore, people should imitate its courageous spirit, never be lazy every minute, and always move forward, always vigorous, always smart and lively , this is in line with the "virtue" of the earth. But who makes the sun, moon, stars, and the earth rotate in the universe?Who is in charge? Is it God?Is it God?Is it Buddha?Lao Tzu does not use these man-made nouns, he just uses the inherent names in the ancient traditional culture, which is unnameable, and still calls it "Tao" and "Natural", which is the most appropriate. That's why it is said that "heaven follows Tao, and Tao follows nature".Abstractly speaking, Tao naturally has endless functions and possesses the incredible power of "birth and death".This force, in terms of Buddhism, is called "karma". Karma is not necessarily bad. There are good and bad.In fact, the power of heaven and earth is in operation, and there is no good or evil. The so-called good and evil are just value judgments added by human beings. The power of Tao is endless, coming from a source, born from nature, gods, ghosts, gods and emperors, are all differentiated by the natural function of Tao.However, why did it grow these existences of all things?Sometimes when we are not satisfied, we really complain about this Dao. Why does it keep growing and transforming? If the Dao is not transformed, you and I will not be born, and if you and me are not born, why do these entangled grievances, grievances, pains and troubles come about! Why does this Tao have such a hard time with us?The earth was born, our parents were born, we, and the children and grandchildren of future generations were born, and then because of a small problem, they all suffered terribly, succeeded at one time, failed at another time, sometimes sad and sometimes happy, what is the truth of this Tao? , this God, this master, what are you kidding us about? How wonderful it would be if we could rest peacefully and peacefully in the ancient times of "immortality and immortality"! Questions like this, needless to say that ordinary people can't figure out the truth of the answer, even since ancient times, many philosophers and thinkers who have devoted their lives to pursuing this question have also been trapped in this "first reason". In the riddle of ", I ran here and there, unable to find a way out, getting deeper and deeper, unable to extricate myself.Scientists now are also rushing forward for these issues. What about me?He said that it is the way, nature is nature, there is no other reason, neither why nor for what, it is what it is, intact; without beginning and end, without front and future, neither birth nor death; In this non-birth and non-death, it originally created the phenomenon of the birth and death of the universe, heaven and earth and all life, and produced the unconscious consciousness of time and space in front and back. When we study Taoism, the term "nature" is a key.The ultimate goal of Buddhism is also "False is like this", and the two are worthy of mutual investigation.Ordinary Taoists who practice Taoism, if they cannot directly understand the original, see through the fact of this layer of "Fare is like this", even if they are good at sitting in meditation, they still seem to be servants, wandering life and death, and have a home A wanderer who can't return has a bright future. If you don't believe me, you can ask Lao Tzu to try it out. natural fairy Besides, the Tao itself is natural and endless, but many people practice the Tao and want to meditate to seek tranquility. Is it wrong to think that tranquility is the Tao?You are sitting quietly, can you really sit still? In fact, in my heart, delusions are flying around, moving in a mess, and I don't have a moment of rest. The real sitting meditation is just to enter another state of great movement, because of the great movement, but you don’t feel the movement, so you call it stillness.Or it can be said that it is close to the core of the natural movement, as if it is still. For example, in a rotating circle, the closer to the circumference, the larger the route of motion, and the smaller the route to the center of the circle, and the center of the circle, when it is rotating, does not leave its original position at all, and does not move at all. , in fact, it is the most energetic part of the whole circle. It is not static, so it seems that it can really be static. It is to reach a more vigorous and untraceable state of motion, but you are not aware of its reality. .The reason why sitting still can make people healthy and live forever is precisely because of the effect of the great movement in the stillness that seems to be motionless. This movement is actually a function of the laws of nature. People learn the Tao, what do they learn? If one only knows how to keep one's orifices and train one's qi, let out the old and take in the new, then that's a small way. There is nothing to do in the avenue, nothing needs to be guarded, and there are no such long-winded tricks. "Tao follows nature", naturally it is the Tao, if it is not like this, it is not in line with the Tao.Ordinary people, according to the views of cultivating immortals, are ordinary people. However, as long as ordinary people can do it in their daily life, everything will be natural, and they will not be separated from the Tao. There is a famous saying in Chinese Taoism: "The human body is a small world". If you recognize this concept, you can easily go on the road by meditating and practicing Taoism. You just need to let your body and mind be natural: "Man follows the earth, the earth follows the sky, the sky follows the Tao, and the Tao follows nature" So natural, wouldn't it be really comfortable.Traditional Taoism believes that our human body is a small heaven, and our stomach is like the earth. There are Yangtze River and Yellow River on the earth, which are related to the stomach. The pipeline in front is the Yangtze River, and the pipeline in the back is the Yellow River; Organs, some representing the moon, others the sun, are in constant motion. When people meditate, let it be naturally quiet psychologically, without disturbing the operation of various organs and blood circulation in the body, so that it naturally conforms to the laws of the operation of heaven and earth, and the body will naturally become healthier and healthier.Usually, the four elements of our body are out of balance, and diseases frequently occur. It is because the consciousness and thoughts in the brain are too much and too chaotic, which disturbs the natural operation law of physical fitness. Therefore, the phenomenon of disease occurs, and only the feeling of pain and happiness occurs. . As for the practice of Buddhism, there are many paths, and what is generally known teaches people to be empty, to let go, and not to have delusions. It has something in common with Taoism's tranquility and inaction.Quietness and inaction means not thinking about anything, but if you sit quietly and think in your heart: "I will never think about it", then you have already fallen into the thinking of "whether you want to think about it or not". "Tao" is naturally in motion, but if you insist on doing everything possible to keep it from moving, wouldn't that mean that Taoism is unnatural?Isn't it natural? In fact, when you practice meditation, or even in daily life, you just need to let everything flow freely, it is natural tranquility, unpretentious, free and unrestrained, then it is right, so why put your head on your head and bind yourself like a cocoon? After Lao Tzu, in the Eastern Han Dynasty, there appeared in Taoism the famous work "San Tong Qi" written by real person Wei Boyang. Partial books are not allowed, but the principles and methods of Taoism expounded in it still focus on Lao Tzu's "Tao follows nature".So, why is it called "San Tong Qi"?Because the method of cultivating immortality is exactly the same as the three principles of Laozhuang, Zhouyi, and Danfa. Therefore, it is necessary to participate in joint research, and the principles in it are interlinked and mutually invented, so it is called "San Tong Qi". "Deed" refers to the same as the book deed, which can be checked without any mistakes. In ancient China, a contract was made by engraving a double copy of the mark and the agreed terms on a piece of bamboo slips, and then dissecting it into two pieces. Deed". The principles and processes of Taoism discussed in "Santongqi" are quite complicated and mysterious, but their fundamentals are still nothing more than the great law of "Taoism follows nature". Our human body is a small universe, a small world. In this universe, how the air mechanism works and how the blood circulates, there are fixed and difficult laws. Every second can't be forced, can't be forced, and don't be forced. Then you will understand how to practice Taoism to preserve your life, but the general principle is nothing more than Lao Tzu's "man follows the earth, the earth follows the sky, the sky follows the way, and the way follows nature".
