These long and hungry days gave Xie Youpan a huge shock! How could he have imagined that the best years of his youth would be spent with such terrible hunger? This life of racking his brains for just one bite of food every day drove him almost crazy. He often listens to the radio with an ore radio and finds that life in the city is much happier than in the countryside. Everyone supplies food and non-staple food by ticket.People in the city often watch movies, and often organize various gatherings to celebrate festivals. Compared with the forgotten corner of Banzi Village, the city is simply a paradise.People who are hungry give up all the dignity of life.Xie Youpan will never forget the experience of chasing a thin little hare for three miles and falling all over his body with bruises. He was almost dragged to death by that rabbit. Hit the beast on the head with a stone. He couldn't wait to roast the rabbit, and chewed off one of its ears alive. This kind of memory is so terrifying, in his dream he even dreamed that this rabbit was gnawing on his ear frantically!

This kind of memory left him nothing but shame. For a year, his heroic father lingered on the kang, looking forward to something he would gain every day. A sparrow, a few earthworms, and half a leather shoe would all be his hope to continue his life.It is a miracle that Banzi Village did not suffer the same disaster as Xidibei and other villages in a radius of a hundred miles! He was horrified by the horrors of this world, and every sand and stone around him made him feel threatened. This is a corner that is almost forgotten by people, where people die like grass, and no one knows that in such a land, life and death become meaningless. If he wanted to forget this shame and get rid of this anxiety, he realized that he had to leave this small village, leave that humble county seat, go to Beijing, go to the heart of China, and set foot on Chang'an Avenue. footprint. It is a palace that will not be forgotten. It is the closest to Chairman Mao. As long as you work hard, you will have a chance to thrive, and it is even more likely to make a brilliant career.

Know your shame and be brave, you must go to Beijing! He despises his original idea of dominating the county middle school, so how can he be called promising? How can you change your destiny?Be sure to go to a university in Beijing! Xie Youpan hid all his ambitions deeply in his heart and became even more reticent. At the age of twenty-two, he applied to return to school and became more diligent than ever.By the second semester of the second year of high school, his grades had climbed to the top ten of the whole year, but he was still not satisfied with this grade. He couldn't take the first place in such a school, so how could he apply for a university in Beijing?Xie Youpan burst out with an almost crazy enthusiasm for learning. Apart from eating and sleeping, he spent all his time studying. It was common for him to light up night battles, and sometimes he even stayed up all night. His face was often smeared with black oil from the oil lamp, and he went to morning self-study without washing. The classmates laughed at him jealously and didn't care, thinking that you people should just laugh. When I arrive in Beijing, you go home to farm, or you will go hungry and starve. See if you still laugh?

The number of teachers in County No. 1 Middle School couldn't keep up, and several teachers died of starvation. The school coordinated with the party organization that manages the farm, and let these rightists take some classes while reforming and studying. The arrival of the rightists quickly improved the quality of teaching in the school. They quickly changed from simple temporary teaching to substitute teachers, and were quietly mentioned to the position of class teacher. The students welcome these rightists with rich revolutionary experience and knowledge very much, and don't mind their rightist hats, and they are harmonious from top to bottom.

Xie Youpan's homeroom teacher was an old rightist, the secretary of the Cheorwon District Party Committee who was sent to Linjian Farm. He was overthrown in 1957.He was in his early fifties, dark and ugly, but his name was Bai Xi.I heard that he was born in a family of officials of the Beiyang government. His father had served as the deputy head of the education affairs of the Beiyang government.Bai Xi joined the Communist Party at the age of twenty-two. That year when the Japanese devils entered the customs, he returned to the city to do underground work. His profound family background made him quickly reused. He secretly dealt with the devils and the national government, obtained a lot of information, until it surfaced on the eve of liberation, and served as the secretary of the local prefectural committee after liberation.

Bai Xi once wrote a research report to the Provincial Party Committee, advocating the development of population statistics and fertility guidance in the eastern part of Henan. He noticed that in order to increase the number of people in the yellow flood area, in order to have more labor force in the family for land reclamation and production in the future, the people are giving birth uncontrollably, causing great damage to the local food and health work pressure, so I wrote this report. The province attached great importance to it, and even sent an investigation team down to understand the situation.Unexpectedly, after August 1957, Beijing suddenly began to criticize Peking University President Ma Yinchu's "New Population Theory". The provincial party committee realized the problem and ordered to stop the census work in Tieyuan District. Bai Xi also became the deputy secretary. .But the matter was not over yet. In 1959, Ma Yinchu, who did not hit the south wall and did not look back, wrote the article "Reaffirming My Request", expressing that he would stick to the truth, "Never give in to the kind of The critics surrender," and further demanded that the verdict be overturned. So Ma Yinchu's academic problem became a political problem for the rightists to attack the central government, and his criticism escalated. This directly caused Bai Xi, who was thousands of miles away, to suffer unexpected disasters.Bai Xi openly supported Ma Yinchu's counterattack against the central government, and was shot at the gunpoint. As soon as a paperwork was issued, he was paraded through the streets, and was soon driven into the farm.

Bai Xi devoted herself to the revolution for decades, but was struck by lightning on the kang. One of the most politically dangerous censuses he conducted turned out to be the basis for his incrimination.Fortunately, Bai Xi has a lenient heart, so he can deny his mistakes and admit his bad luck. Compared with the tragic end of those "counter-revolutionaries", he thinks what happened to him is not bad.All the secretaries, county heads, United Front Ministers, and other similar-level cadres who were reformed together in the farm, usually have something to talk about. There is no criticism on the farm, only day-to-day labor and study. At first, there were people watching, but later the people from the local armed forces found that there was no need to guard these guys at all—they would die if they left the farm. They would either starve to death or be beaten to death. After the Great Leap Forward, all places were busy launching satellites to catch production, so who could take care of them? Therefore, although it was a transformation, this Bai Xi became fatter and fatter, but he was still as dark as before. As soon as he came to the school to teach, he was nicknamed "Black Yorkshire" by the students ("Yorkshire" was a pig breed imported from England in China at that time, commonly known as "Big White Pig").

"Black Yorkshire" has a square head and a square brain, compact features, and a solid body like a rolling pan.But such a short stature is full of talents and elegant demeanor. He has a deep study of history, and he can tell the replacement events of various dynasties and the historical facts of documents with his eyes closed, and he is eloquent in his hand. The boring historical events of each dynasty, the vertical and horizontal alliance of the Spring and Autumn Period, the dispute between Chu and Han, the legend of the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty, the glory and shame of the rise and fall of the Qing Dynasty, and even the wild history of heroes in various dynasties, all become interesting stories under his description. A vivid and lifelike story. The unique storytelling method of "Black Yorkshire" has greatly stimulated the students' interest in learning history, and the students have been paying attention unconsciously. It turns out that history is so interesting to learn.

In terms of class, the gap between Bai Xi and Xie Youpan was insurmountable, but this guy's profound knowledge completely convinced Xie Youpan, and Xie Youpan couldn't stop listening to his class. However, Xie Youpan would not ask Bai Xi for advice no matter how many questions he usually had. Instead, he would rather go to the county library to look up relevant historical materials after school, read them carefully, and history began to change gradually in front of him. Became a mirror. He understands that heroes and heroes all rise in troubled times and are on the cusp of the tide. In an era of turmoil and change, honest people like his father mostly just drift with the tide in a daze, without taking the initiative to choose and design their own lives. He felt that his father was just a low-level officer who survived the revolution by chance. Look at the direction of the wind, take two quick steps, and you will surely get much more brilliant political capital. Now that there is no war in New China, he can only go home and continue to be a farmer, not even a village official. He was very sorry and sad for his father, and gradually felt that his father's great achievements were insignificant.Xie Youpan warned himself never to repeat his father's mistakes. He transcribed a famous saying "Character determines destiny" on the title page of his notebook in bold and large font.

Xie Youpan raised a coordinate of a great future in his heart.Life is just in time! The foundation that my father laid for himself during the revolution with his head in his hands should not be wasted easily anyway. With my own intelligence and diligence, I should be able to seize the opportunity and climb a few steps like flying through the clouds. This is an era unprecedented in China for thousands of years. The birth of new China is not a simple regime change, but a profound social change, which can be described as earth-shaking.The Communist Party's power in China is an opportunity bestowed on me, a young man from rural areas, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Changes such as the "Great Leap Forward" are only the prelude to progress. If a country wants to stand up, it must first be broken!Regardless of my father's mission or destiny, it has become history, and the construction of new China needs more ambitious young people like myself. He is going to the place where the red sun rises to do his own revolutionary career, far surpassing his father.A scene repeatedly emerged in his mind: he, Xie Youpan, led his classmates, waved to Chairman Mao in the shining Tiananmen Square, accepted Chairman Mao's review, and listened to Chairman Mao's teachings! What a glorious and beautiful scenery!

The plan has been made, Xie Youpan looks at all living beings coldly, and feels more and more that he is the one who is about to be entrusted with great responsibility. The students take staying in the county to work as their highest goal in life, and they are simply a bunch of real bumpkins. The only one who can appreciate it, and even have some sympathy with me, looking around, there is only this rightist head teacher left.He is well-informed and knowledgeable about the past and present, so he can give himself some guidance.Xie Youpan smiled and resolved the embarrassment caused by getting close to this rightist. To achieve great things, you must use all available people and things. The ancients said that Daxing disregards meticulousness, Lin Xiangru is magnanimous and can tolerate incorruptibility, Meng Changjun can make friends with thieves, but he can't learn from the ancients? "Mr. Bai, you often say that the Chinese culture is extensive and profound, that it embraces all rivers and is magnificent, but why is China always being invaded by foreigners? The territory of China is so large, but from the time Qin unified the six kingdoms until the founding of New China, Because the history of foreign invasions and dynasty changes abound? And the means of foreign invasions are basically simple force. Mongolia has 300,000 cavalry, and the Manchu Qing has only a few hundred thousand. They can sweep the Central Plains and rule for a hundred years? Chinese culture is both If it failed to protect the safety of the Chinese nation, and failed to lead China to become stronger, then what is the significance of the 'broad and profound' Chinese culture to the Chinese nation? So where does the 'prestige and dignity' come from?" Bai Xi has a good impression of Xie Youpan, a student. He found that Xie Youpan is a student who likes to think and has great ideas. Although Xie Youpan always looks gloomy, there seems to be a flame that is about to burst out behind his eyes, revealing a strong belief. It also reveals a hidden ambition. This student always showed disdain in front of others, and his eyes wandered during class, but Bai Xi knew that he would not miss every word he said.He is usually reticent, but as soon as he stands up, he can always answer questions and answers to the point. Moreover, the knowledge that this kid pays attention to has greatly exceeded the scope of textbooks, especially in history class.Such students are rare in county middle schools, and Bai Xi even specially learned about some of his background at the Academic Affairs Office, so he deeply cherishes his talent. "Good question! It's not easy for student Xie Youpan to ask such in-depth questions! Learning history requires so much thinking, questioning, and summarizing. But first of all, I want to tell you that the answer to this kind of question, There are only different answers, and there is no correct answer! So my answer is not conclusive, it is just my family’s opinion, and students can only use it as a reference. "Culture is a very broad concept, and it is almost difficult to define its connotation and extension...During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, China's national power was strong, and its developed economy and technology brought people's active thinking and cultural prosperity; In the transition to feudal society, it is still in a state of ignorance and conservativeness, rigid thinking, and ordinary people still wear sacks. In history, the Chinese nation has experienced many national fusions. The great fusion of nations will inevitably lead to the great fusion of national culture. Chinese culture is gradually inclusive and inclusive. Chinese culture has extensive and far-reaching influence on North Korea and Japan in the east, ancient India, Persia and Arabia in the west, and even the whole world. Mohammed, the founder of Islam, once said to his disciples: Even though it is far away in China, we should seek it. During the Sui, Tang, Song and Yuan Dynasties in China, especially the Tang Dynasty, the imperial court was very confident in politics, and pursued the policy of "China is safe, and the barbarians submit themselves", and the four seas belonged to Chang'an, the capital of the Tang Dynasty at that time. It is not only the political center of the country, but also the cultural exchange center of Asian countries. China is deeply respected by all countries, and Chinese culture is majestic everywhere. "China has a large territory, but China has been repeatedly invaded by foreign countries. This is a fact. But this problem cannot be directly attributed to Chinese culture. On the one hand, a country's deep cultural heritage does not necessarily lead to a country's strength. And a powerful country does not necessarily have a profound cultural background. On the other hand, a big country is not necessarily strong, and a strong country is not necessarily big. This is the same reason that the most aggressive animals in nature are often not big, such as wolves. , tigers, leopards, etc., but elephants, cows, and horses are bigger than them, but they have a gentle personality. Compared with the foreign countries that once invaded us, China is so big that it has everything. The philosopher Russell once said: If there is a country in the world that is so proud that it disdains war, that country is China. The Chinese nation also has a history of aggression against foreign nations in history, but generally speaking, Chinese culture is a non-aggressive culture. Geographical factors have played a key role in the formation of this characteristic of Chinese culture...Culture is the spiritual backbone of a nation, but the "prestige" of culture is not directly reflected in military confrontation, its strength is reflected in the vitality of the nation, Creativity and cohesion. Culture is a kind of soft power, which is often integrated into or transformed into economic, political, military and other material power through knowledge, belief, spiritual and other forms. Therefore, Mr. Russell said, "No matter for China or human beings, Cultural issues are fundamental', 'Progress and efficiency make us rich and strong, but they are ignored by the Chinese. But, before we harass them, they are safe and peaceful'... "Let's talk about the Song Dynasty. The Song Dynasty had a vast territory and a strong national power, which was unmatched by other countries in the world at that time. But the problem is here. Wen Tianwu plays, the world has no worries, and he doesn't want to beat others, but forgets to protect himself , even disregarding the wolves of the Liao, Jin, Xixia, Mongolia, etc. outside. And these masters are so poor that they only have blood. Seeing that your Song Dynasty is so rich but so neglectful of self-preservation, How can we not be malicious? So people are fighting every day, but the Song Dynasty is singing and dancing every day, not talking about military affairs, and not repairing armaments. If the economy is so strong and the culture is so profound in the Song Dynasty, how can it stop these tigers and wolves? Another example is the Manchu Qing Dynasty and Japan. One of them was the Tartars and the other was the Japanese pirates. They both beat us to pieces. Before they invaded, they had studied China for decades, and they had thoroughly studied China! All the power of the country is used to develop the military, and the goal is aggression! The Eight Banners soldiers of the Qing Dynasty and the Bushido of Japan are extremely powerful in combat, and they all launched attacks suddenly. How can Kong's Republic of China be their opponent?" "As you said, Japan has been spying on China for more than a day or two. It has been seen since the end of the Qing Dynasty. Everyone knows Sima Zhao's heart. But why didn't the authorities strengthen their war preparations in order to resist foreign humiliation? Chiang Kai-shek actually pursued The policy of "resisting the outside world first" waited until the Japanese occupied the three eastern provinces, Pingjin and Pingjin, and did not join hands with the Communist Party in the full-scale resistance war until after the Battle of Songhu? Why was Chiang Kai-shek so capable of fighting civil wars? Can't stand it in front of you?" "If you get to the root of this problem, you can find the reason from the cultural aspect. Chinese culture also has negative and backward characteristics: internal friction and disorder. Internal friction will inevitably hinder the establishment of a common order, and the absence of a common order breeds and strengthens internal friction. The two fall into a vicious circle in mutual causation...Frequent change of dynasty is the biggest internal friction in Chinese society and the most serious damage to social order. This is the main reason for the slow development of Chinese society! China's internal friction culture has a long history. Counting from the "Spring and Autumn Period", it has been more than two thousand years, and the history of China for more than two thousand years has always been in the cycle of the rise and fall of dynasties! Under the "family world", imperial power is boundless, so everyone wants to be emperor ; and each family and the world are bound to decay, so they have to overthrow and break the order; so the endless battles for the imperial power will drag the people into endless suffering and turmoil... The endless internal friction has strangled the creation of the Chinese nation However, under the Western Christian culture, after the turmoil, people can devote themselves to the establishment of equality and democratic order, and gradually consolidate it... Let people voluntarily give up the supremacy of power, in the eyes of the Chinese It was an unbelievable thing, but President Washington, who was honored as the "father of the nation" of the United States, stepped down from the presidency on his own initiative in order to establish a democratic government; another outstanding American president Lincoln said: Just as I don't want to be a slave, I don't want to be a master... "Foreign war outsiders and insiders for civil wars, it is not uncommon in the history of China to say, 'If you fight against the outside world, you must first settle down at home'. This phenomenon is not difficult to understand in the context of China's internal friction culture. In the last years of the Qing Dynasty, the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom attacked the north. , The imperialist powers are also attacking the coast of China. A minister asked the Empress Dowager Cixi why she did not resist foreign humiliation first, but instead attacked the Taiping army with all her strength? Cixi said that the foreign devils only want money from the Qing Dynasty, at most it is a colony, and Taiping What the army wants is the country of the Qing Dynasty! Chiang Kai-shek's mentality at that time was nothing more than the same. "To fight against the outside world, we must first settle the inside" was the first initiative of the ancestors of the Song Dynasty, but it was not invented by Lao Jiang. From the perspective of national interests, Chiang Kai-shek's behavior should be From the point of view of his personal political future, this is his wise choice. Since Chiang Kai-shek believed that the Communist Party was his confidant at that time, although Japan occupied the three eastern provinces for many years, he did not concentrate on defeating the Japanese. He went back, but only wanted to make peace with the enemy, so that he could free up his hands to destroy the Red Army. His calculation was very good, and the Red Army was almost wiped out, but Lao Jiang underestimated the ambitions of the Japanese. China and Japan are separated by a strip of water, and the Japanese are not Back then, the British and French allied forces not only wanted China’s wealth, but also China’s great rivers and mountains. The Japanese also understood Chiang Kai-shek’s wishful thinking, but on the surface they pretended that they really only wanted the three eastern provinces. Premeditated the overall situation, and launched an all-out war when Lao Jiang was in trouble..." "You mean the Japanese attack saved the Communist Party?" Xie Youpan frowned, provocative in his words. "It's too much to say rescue, but I personally think it's an important factor, which allows the Chinese Communist Party to recuperate and grow stronger." Bai Xi calmed herself down as much as possible. "Isn't that right? The Red Army was not exhausted back then, and the Long March was also for the purpose of going north to resist Japan. It is a fact that development is difficult. During the Long March, the Red Army conquered passes and seized passes, rushed across dangerous areas, killed and chased back soldiers to stop the enemy, climbed snow-capped mountains and crossed grasslands, and finally achieved They carried out a great strategic shift, and carried out a great struggle against Japan. All these injustices fully demonstrated the tenacious vitality and invincible combat effectiveness of the Red Army? How could such an army be wiped out by Chiang Kai-shek? How can it be said that the Japanese saved the Red Army?" Xie Youpan attacked step by step, Bai Xi started to sweat. It's not that he can't answer Xie Youpan's question, but that it's too dangerous to answer his question.I still wear the hat of a "rightist", and it is a big taboo to comment on the historical setbacks of the Chinese Communist Party. If I continue to talk like this, once it gets to the top, maybe I will be accused of something? "Xie Youpan's question is beyond the scope of everyone's study. We will not discuss it further today. If you have the opportunity to go to university in the future, you can study the glorious history of our party and our army in more depth. Now—let's concentrate on learning the knowledge within the scope of the exam!" "Okay, Teacher Bai, let me change the question: The Japanese have been preparing for the invasion of China for so many years, why didn't they take down all of China like the Manchus did?" Xie Youpan was still chasing after him. "As I mentioned earlier, Japan has been preparing for decades to invade China. From a military point of view, when Japan attacked China, they chose the best time-the warlords separated the regime, and Chiang Kai-shek had just formally unified China. , In fact, warlords everywhere have different aspirations. It looks like a few million National Revolutionary Army, but it is actually a mess. The combat effectiveness is not good, and the weapons and equipment are also very sparse. In case of war, most of them first consider preserving their own strength. The Red Army can escape from Chiang Kai-shek’s encirclement , the reason is also here. "The Japanese know the Nationalist government's army very well, and they are naturally confident in their actions. Therefore, when the war began, the Japanese army quickly took down half of China, and the army on the frontal battlefield of China was quickly defeated. The so-called opportunity must not be missed, and the Japanese grasped it very well. However, from the perspective of the overall situation of the world, the Japanese chose the most unfavorable time to launch this war. The whole world was under the cloud of war at that time, and the two forces of fascism and anti-fascism had been clearly defined. It is not just a matter between two countries. Japan is located on an island, lacks products, and violates the military principle of long-distance and short-term attack. It first attacked the Soviet Union and then the United States. The Japanese and the Germans stood together and put themselves in the The opposite of the peace-loving countries all over the world has become the real unjust and helpless. "Many students asked me that it is enough for the Japanese to concentrate on attacking China. Such a large country with abundant resources is not enough for them? What are you doing to provoke the United States? In fact, it is not to provoke, but to act first! The United States has already provided Europe and the Soviet Union. Roosevelt’s attitude is very obvious, but whether the whole country is fully involved in the war, the attitude is not firm enough. But out of the consideration of global interests, the United States will definitely fight Japan sooner or later, and it will kill the Soviet Union! If it resists Germany, it will not let Japan go! Faced with a potential enemy that is much stronger than itself, the best way for Japan is to bite it hard first, so there is the Battle of Nomonkan and the attack on Pearl Harbor. Therefore, Japan is fighting against countless anti-fascist alliance countries on the Chinese battlefield. The Chinese government's army is fighting a protracted war with the Japanese army with the help of all countries in the world by virtue of the dangerous terrain in the southwest. The Japanese army can neither win quickly nor Withdrawal of troops, a large number of troops were held in China, and naturally they could not withstand the attack of the United States on the Pacific battlefield. Fighting on multiple fronts, a strong Germany is not enough, let alone Japan? As for strategic and tactical issues, that is just superficial It's..." "If Japan hadn't launched the Pearl Harbor attack early, and the ambiguity between the United States and Japan continued for a few more years, and the United States had not provided a large amount of aid to China, would the Japanese army have been able to occupy China?" Xie Youpan was simply obsessed with this period of history. Classmates can discuss this issue with him, take this opportunity to ask clearly. "You can assume this, but history cannot be assumed. If the Japanese hadn't attacked Pearl Harbor, if the Soviets hadn't kept Stalingrad, if the Americans hadn't won Midway Island...the victory or defeat of any of the above battles is related to Overall, if your assumptions are true, I think the Japanese will definitely occupy China, at least most of China!" "But the Chinese will not submit to their rule!" a classmate interjected angrily. "Well, you're right, but you're talking about another question. What do you mean you won't submit? After two hundred years of shouting 'anti-Qing and restoring Ming', is it really so difficult to reverse the Qing Dynasty? After Mongolia destroyed the Southern Song Dynasty, ninety years later It was overthrown by Zhu Yuanzhang, and it was ended by Sun Yat-sen only after the entry of the Qing Dynasty for more than two hundred years. During the eight-year war of resistance, there were no large-scale popular resistance and riots in the Japanese-occupied areas. The three eastern provinces were occupied for more than ten years, and many The young people can't even speak Chinese, and they are dissatisfied in their hearts, but they compromise in behavior..." "If the Japanese occupied all of China and continued to rule, what would our country be like?" another student asked. "Well, this question is interesting. I think... Japan will become a part of China in the long run!" After Bai Xi said this, the students were stunned. What kind of argument is this? Why never heard of it?The world belongs to the Japanese now, how could they become part of China again? "This is going back to Xie Youpan's first question. If the Japanese occupied the whole of China, kicked out Chiang Kai-shek, and established a new regime, they must respect Chinese culture in order to implement effective rule. Invasion When they promoted the concept of the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere, the world was established, and they must use Chinese culture to appease and stabilize the emotions of the Chinese people, so that the Chinese people can get a rest. There are ready-made examples in history, the Yuan Dynasty of the Mongols forced the common people to say that language, pulled out the wheat and changed it to grazing, lived according to the habits of the Mongols, and tried to completely eliminate the Chinese culture, but the country of the Yuan Dynasty could not be maintained for a hundred years. After the Manchus entered the customs, they almost fully accepted the Chinese culture and respected Confucius. Meng, who emphasized imperial examinations and light taxes, did not force the people to do anything contrary to traditional Chinese culture except for braids. Therefore, although the Manchus, like Mongolia, had countless evil deeds of massacring Han people, after decades, it was their turn. When Kangxi bowed down and ruled, the people shouted long live Aixinjueluo—have you met a good emperor! But this is not scary, and this great foreign emperor is not scary either. The Chinese culture is profound and dignified, so pervasive that A hundred years later, almost half of the Manchus have become accustomed to the customs of the Han people, and they can’t even speak Manchu. They have already regarded themselves as Chinese. The Japanese cannot escape this fate. Their admiration for Chinese culture is deeply rooted in their bones. Their kimonos and etiquette are originally the customs of the Tang Dynasty..." "But if that's the case, the Chinese have to worship a Japanese emperor every day. How can this be tolerated? How can the Japanese slaughter us Chinese? How can we accept it?" "The Mongols killed at least 50 million people in China. The Manchus may be a little less, and it is estimated that they are more than 30 million. But back then, the Chinese paid homage to Kublai Khan and Aixinjueluo, the ancestors of the Yuan Dynasty. Didn't they still bear it? China What the common people look forward to most is how to end the war as soon as possible and how to live and work in peace and contentment. Whoever becomes the emperor doesn’t care much. Once the Japanese conquer China, their rule will not last as long as the Qing Dynasty. They have too deep a relationship with Chinese culture and will soon be Assimilation. Perhaps in the next few decades, the Chinese Communist Party will lead the people of the whole country to overthrow the Japanese-dominated government. At this time, the Yamato people will become a minority in China just like the Manchus, and Japan will become a Chinese nation just like Manchuria back then. The layout of the..." "fallacy!" Xie Youpan was angered by Bai Xi's words. He could not accept the idea that the Japanese could become rulers. The Japanese devil who once made his father suffer life and death has the hope of becoming the master of China? This old rightist!Knowledge is good, but thinking is problematic!Draw the line! "You are simply talking nonsense! You are putting gold on the face of the Japanese invaders! You are denying the great achievements of the Chinese people in the War of Resistance against Japan...you...you...then you think the Chinese have no backbone and dignity? As long as you can live a peaceful life, you will not reject all foreign aggression?" Xie Youpan stood up and shouted, but apart from shouting a few empty slogans, he couldn't find any strong arguments to refute Bai Xi.The students couldn't hold back their anger, and there was a lot of noise in the classroom. "Students, don't get excited. We are discussing issues. I have already told everyone that my answer only represents my personal point of view. You can listen to it or not. I just want you to know more comprehensively. Since everyone If you ask me, I shouldn’t be insincere. We Communists are seeking truth from facts. Although I am a rightist now, I still insist on the principle of academic freedom... History cannot repeat itself, but we can play chess in class Review it and find out the rules that we can use as a mirror. This is the attitude of learning. In addition, I can tell you that although I said so, when the Japanese devils attacked my hometown, I did not hesitate. I joined the guerrillas led by the Communist Party, and the devils once saw their popularity with bayonets, and worked with real swords and guns for several years! This is a choice I made as a Chinese with almost no need to think about it. Telling history and entering the game are completely Two things... Well, our class ends here today, if you have any questions, you can come to me after class. What I said in class today is purely an academic discussion, get out of class!" After class, Bai Xi regretted it.Impulse!I am always impulsive to say something quickly, this problem can never be changed!Xie Youpan, this bastard, can always tease his own itch, and he can tell everything when he gets excited.Hi, love what's up!A group of children will not report to the organization indiscriminately.Xie Youpan is an interesting student. He has a good brain, has ambitions, and has a clear hatred. He is a bit like himself back then. He is a good revolutionary seedling. It would be a pity not to go to university... That night, Xie Youpan went to the classroom to catch up with the night work as usual. This is his old habit, and this classroom has almost become his exclusive place. He rejects all the students who want to study with him, including female students. The classmates who used to drive all night in the classroom were all kicked out by him for finding fault. The students later knew that Xie Youpan was alone and didn't like to share with others, and that he was too good at studying, so he felt inferior when studying with people like him.Xie Youpan was finally happy. He wants to study Russian and Chinese tonight, the history class in the morning made him dizzy, and he doesn't want to read history in the past two days. The college entrance examination is imminent, and we can no longer think about it. "The north wind is timid, and the wild sand is hard to reach the silver hooked moon. "The silver hooks the moon, the frost hangs the cold pass, and the snow covers the bird. "A huqin song from a foreign land, two generations of Tianjiao will perish in the south of the Yangtze River. "The south of the Yangtze River is destroyed, the sound of silk and bamboo is cold, and the sound of iron hoofs is cracking." Suddenly there was a burst of reciting outside the classroom, it was "Recalling Qin'e", the voice was all too familiar, with a Henan accent, it was the head teacher Bai Xi.Xie Youpan closed the book, opened the door, and saw Bai Xi smoking and pacing under the moonlight, thinking about the crescent moon. "Mr. Bai, it's so late, are you still preparing lessons?" "Ah? Thank you Youpan, are you still working hard? I'm not preparing for lessons. I can't sleep. Come out for a walk." "Whose "Recalling Qin'e" belongs to? The generous atmosphere reveals depression and desolation..." "Oh, I wrote it. I did it a few years ago when I was inspecting work in Inner Mongolia. I just saw the moon and couldn't help but read it..." Xie Youpan looked at Bai Xi and found that his smile was contagious. In front of him, I was always like a cramped child, full of passion and ambition, and turned into neither light nor heavy and disappeared without a trace. He realized that his questioning of Bai Xi in class was more like a deliberate attack on Bai Xi, but he himself didn't know what the purpose of doing this was.But now facing him, everything was calm, Xie Youpan hesitated to speak, he didn't know what to say to this rightist head teacher who knew the world well. "Why do you want to go to university so much and not follow your father's path?" Bai Xi asked. "I don't want... He won't let me either." "Oh? That's very rare. There are very few military families who don't like their sons serving in the army." "My brother went to North Korea..." "I know this. The principal told me that he joined the army directly from school, and his student file is still here." Don't think about it!
