Chapter 101 Dai Li's loyalty to the leader

These four points are designed to develop personal affection for the leader. After 1932, the personality cult of the leader manifested rapidly. As with the Führer, whether Chiang Kai-shek was present or not was saluted, accompanied by the rhythmic smacking of heels. "After 1933 until the end of the Pacific War, people would stand up and stand at attention as long as the chairman's name was mentioned in every meeting." Therefore, Dai Li's secret service headquarters hall is decorated with signs emphasizing understanding the leader's burden and collective support for him. Emotional slogan:

Dai Li encouraged his agents to adopt a philosophy that emphasized individual agency: "Have the will to die, the determination to do!" But at the same time, they were told to obey the leader passively, that is, unconditionally Will: Intelligence personnel must not have their own political views. They should take the leader's will as their own. The concept of a leader is particularly important to Dai Li's worldview. It includes different traditional ideas. On the one hand, Chiang Kai-shek's disciples, former graduates of the Whampoa Military Academy, maintained a reverence for their headmaster. But this loyalty goes beyond Confucianism, requiring followers of the commander-in-chief to abandon themselves.Chiang Kai-shek's requirements for his disciples combined the fanatical loyalty of Zeng Guofan's "strong Confucianism" in the late nineteenth century, advocating personal self-discipline based on the modern military order and revolutionary spirit.Chiang set himself up as an example of such restraint, and his followers must consciously emulate the leader's high standards of strict self-control and eternal devotion. They have to find the meaning of their lives directly and one by one through the approval of the leader himself in the process of obedience to the leader's cause and devotion to the leader.

On September 20, 1933, Chiang Kai-shek compared this "belief in leaders" with international fascism in his speech "How to be a Revolutionary Party Member" to cadres in Xingzi County, Jiangxi Province: The most important point of Fascist is to absolutely believe in a good leader.Apart from him, there is no second leader or second doctrine, just believe in one person completely! All things have to be decided by other leaders. We must now decide that China must have a leader, and unless everyone absolutely believes in this leader, the country cannot be transformed and the revolution cannot be completed. So you need to know from now on: the characteristic of fascism is that there is only one leader, and there is no other person besides this person. Therefore, all power and responsibility are also concentrated on the leader. Of course, the leader must have a great personality and a revolutionary spirit to be a model for all party members! And every party member must be able to sacrifice everything for the leader, for the group, indirectly for the society, for the country, and for revolutionism! The day we join this revolutionary group, we will hand over all my rights, life, freedom and happiness to the group and to the leader from that day on!There is absolutely no second thought and second spirit, only this, we can truly be called a fascist!

This is the most important point. When you go back, you must take this meaning and tell the general comrades: the revolution cannot be as sloppy as before. The first thing to ask is whether you have this absolute belief in the leader? Can you give everything you have to the leader? As a member of this revolutionary group, this must be done first, and only then will our group and the Chinese revolution have hope. On the one hand, the party members must entrust everything to the leader. On the other hand, the leader should not only be responsible for the revolution and the entire group, but also be responsible for all the affairs of each party member. Not only should one be responsible for the affairs of the party members themselves, but also be responsible for the affairs of the party members' families. Not only to be responsible for the responsibilities of the party members during their lifetime, but also to be responsible for all the aftermath and pensions behind him.In short, as long as you can really believe in the leader, be loyal to the group, and work hard to serve the revolution, all other public and private affairs will be taken care of by the leader and the group! After you understand this truth, you should never worry about gain or loss again, cherish your family, worry about poverty, or be afraid that after you die, your family and children will not be taken care of, and no one will take care of all the affairs behind you.In short, everything about a party member, regardless of whether he is alive or dead, has his own group and leader to take responsibility for him, and he should stop planning for himself, and must work entirely for the group, for the doctrine, for the revolution, and for the leader!

This was the purpose of getting these loyal followers into the secret organization Lixingshe. For the secret service department that was later incorporated into Dai Li's military command, this is a creed that must be remembered forever.
