她面前摊放着从技术队拿来的工具箱里的各种工具，以及周巡炸膛的手枪碎片，她小心翼翼地拿着镊子在碎片里分拣，从碎裂的枪管内侧，夹出了一块口香糖。她拿起一个电吹风，另一手拿镊子夹着这块口香糖，用电吹风吹口香糖，然后把口香糖放在一张纸上，用镊子轻轻抵住，另一只手拿着手术刀，顺着口香糖褶皱的痕迹塞进去，轻轻一掰。干裂的口香糖很容易就被她掰去了一块，褶皱的内侧露了出来。她放下口香糖，拿起一个指纹贴，仔细地粘在口香糖褶皱内侧的横截面上，用力摁了摁，又把指纹贴翻过来，把口香糖夹了下去。最后，她举起指纹贴，对着灯光可以看到指纹贴上印下了半枚清晰的指纹。 办公桌对面，刘长永伸过来，接过了指纹贴，扭头对周巡说：“应该足够拿到网上作比对了吧？” 周巡没有答话，从他手上拿过指纹贴，收进了自己兜里，刘长永见状脸色微微一变，周舒桐更是一脸的疑惑不解。 两人都望向周巡，而周巡隐身在暗处，看不清表情。
